Abstract

There is provided an upper garment comprising: a body portion; left and right long sleeves coupled to the body portion; and left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners coupled to the left and right long sleeves respectively, wherein the left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners are attached to the left and right long sleeves on distal portions thereof respectively, wherein the left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners are wrapped by the left and right long sleeves on the distal portions thereof respectively. The left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners may act to thermally insulate the wearer's hands from the outer cold ambient.

Description

    BACKGROUND
  • Field of the Present Disclosure
  • The present disclosure relates to an upper garment with left and right long sleeves for protection against the cold. Further, the present disclosure relates to pants with left and right long legs for protection against the cold.
  • Discussion of Related Art
  • Generally, a male suit or a female suit jacket is formed of a fabric material having a small elasticity, and a sleeve is formed on both sides of the body portion to cover the wearer's arm. In this connection, the sleeves are usually formed with a diameter larger than the diameter of the wearer's arm and wrist.
  • Therefore, when the jacket or the like is worn during the winter season in which the temperature is low, due to the inflow of cold airs into the inside of the jacket through the end of the sleeve, the body may not be adequately protected from the cold.
  • In addition, it is impossible to effectively seal the arm or wrist portion of the wearer in the sleeve portion of the knit or other tops other than the suit. Thus, the low temperature outside air enters the space between the sleeve and the wearer's hand. Further, when the outside air is exposed to the foot portion exposed to the outside of the undergarment, the body may not be adequately protected from the colds.
  • The prior art includes a Korean utility model publication No. 20-1993-0017558.
  • SUMMARY
  • This Summary is provided to introduce a selection of concepts in a simplified form that are further described below in the Detailed Description. This Summary is not intended to identify all key features or essential features of the claimed subject matter, nor is it intended to be used alone as an aid in determining the scope of the claimed subject matter.
  • The present disclosure is to provide an upper garment with left and right long sleeves for protection against the cold. Further, the present disclosure is to provide pants with left and right long legs for protection against the cold.
  • In one aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided an upper garment comprising: a body portion; left and right long sleeves coupled to the body portion; and left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners coupled to the left and right long sleeves respectively, wherein the left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners are attached to the left and right long sleeves on distal portions thereof respectively, wherein the left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners are wrapped by the left and right long sleeves on the distal portions thereof respectively.
  • In one implementation, proximal ends of the left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners are coupled to the left and right long sleeves at wrist positions of distal portions thereof respectively, wherein distal ends of the left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners are coupled to the left and right long sleeves at free ends of the distal portions thereof respectively.
  • In one implementation, each of the left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners has an open proximal end and a closed distal end, wherein the closed distal end has at least one finger through-hole defined therein.
  • In one implementation, each tubular thermal-insulating inner liner has a hand-accommodation portion defined between the proximal and distal ends of the liner, wherein the at least one finger through-hole communicates with the hand-accommodation portion, wherein each tubular thermal-insulating inner liner has the open proximal end communicating with the hand-accommodation portion.
  • In one implementation, wherein the hand-accommodation portion is made of an elastic material to allow a flexible adaption to the size of a hand of a wearer.
  • In one implementation, the open proximal end and/or the closed distal end of each tubular thermal-insulating inner liner is coupled to each sleeve in a sewing, a zipper and/or a hook and loop fastener manner.
  • In one implementation, the open proximal end of each tubular thermal-insulating inner liner 10 is coupled to each sleeve in a separable manner, while the closed distal end of each tubular thermal-insulating inner liner is coupled to each sleeve in a fixed manner.
  • In one implementation, the upper garment further comprises at least one finger-shaped hollow extension to correspond to the at least one finger through-hole, wherein the at least one finger-shaped hollow extension communicates with the at least one finger through-hole respectively, wherein the at least one finger-shaped hollow extension extends outwardly from the distal end of the tubular thermal-insulating inner liner.
  • In one implementation, the at least one finger-shaped hollow extension contains a conductive material to allow a capacitive interaction with a touch screen.
  • In one implementation, the hand-accommodation portion of the tubular thermal-insulating inner liner has an elastic annular portion.
  • In one implementation, the elastic annular portion is defined at a middle position of the hand-accommodation portion.
  • In one aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided an undergarment comprising: left and right long legs; and left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners coupled to the left and right long legs, wherein the left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners is attached to the left and right long legs on distal portions thereof respectively, wherein the left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners are wrapped by the left and right long legs on distal portions thereof respectively, wherein proximal ends of the left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners are coupled to the left and right long legs at shin positions of distal portions thereof respectively, wherein distal ends of the left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners is coupled to the left and right long sleeves at free ends of distal portions thereof respectively.

  • FIG. 1 is a schematic view of an upper garment having left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners coupled to left and right sleeves of the garment in accordance with a first embodiment. FIG. 2 is a schematic view of a state where the left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners are folded inside out for the garment in FIG. 1. FIG. 3 is a detailed view for describing the tubular thermal-insulating inner liner coupled to the sleeve for the garment in FIG. 1. FIG. 4 is an example use of the tubular thermal-insulating inner liner coupled to the sleeve for the garment in FIG. 1.
  • As shown in FIG. 1 to FIG. 4, the upper garment 100 in accordance with a first embodiment may include a body portion, left and right long sleeves 11 coupled to the body portion, and left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners coupled to the left and right long sleeves 11 respectively. The left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners 10 may act to thermally insulate the wearer's hands from the outer cold ambient.
  • In one embodiment, the types of the upper garment 100 may be not be limited particularly as long as it may have the long sleeve to cover the wrist of the hand. For example, the upper garment 100 may include a shirt, a coat, jacket, etc.
  • The upper garment 100 in accordance with one embodiment has a body portion and left and right long sleeves 11 coupled thereto.
  • In one embodiment, left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners 10 may be attached to the left and right long sleeves 11 on distal portions thereof respectively. The left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners 10 may be wrapped by left and right long sleeves 11 on distal portions thereof respectively. Proximal ends of the left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners 10 may be coupled to the left and right long sleeves 11 at wrist positions of distal portions thereof respectively. Distal ends of the left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners 10 may be coupled to the left and right long sleeves 11 at free ends of distal portions thereof respectively. The left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners 10 may act to thermally insulate the wearer's hands from the outer cold ambient.
  • Further, each of the left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners 10 may have an open proximal end and a closed distal end, wherein the closed distal end may have at least one finger through-hole defined therein.
  • In one embodiment, each tubular thermal-insulating inner liner 10 may have a hand-accommodation portion 12 defined between the proximal and distal ends of the liner 10. In one embodiment, each tubular thermal-insulating inner liner 10 may have at least one finger through-hole 14 defined at the distal end of the liner 10. The at least one finger through-hole 14 may communicate with the hand-accommodation portion 12. In one embodiment, each tubular thermal-insulating inner liner 10 may have an open proximal end 12a communicating with the hand-accommodation portion 12.
  • In one embodiment, the hand-accommodation portion 12 may be made of an elastic material to allow a flexible adaption to the size of the wearer.
  • In one embodiment, the open proximal end and the closed distal end of each tubular thermal-insulating inner liner 10 may be coupled to each sleeve in a sewing or zipper or Velcro manner. In one embodiment, the open proximal end of each tubular thermal-insulating inner liner 10 may be coupled to each sleeve in a separable manner, for example, a zipper or Velcro manner, while the closed distal end of each tubular thermal-insulating inner liner 10 may be coupled to each sleeve in a fixed manner, for example, a sewing manner.
  • In one embodiment, the open proximal end and the closed distal end of each tubular thermal-insulating inner liner 10 may be coupled to each sleeve using securing means 20. The securing means 20 may be embodied in the sewing, zipper and/or Velcro manner.
  • In use, at least one finger of the user may pass through the at least one finger through-hole 14 out of each tubular thermal-insulating inner liner 10. Thus, the user may use his/her fingers to perform a desired task. Although two finger through-holes 14 corresponding to an index finger and thumb respectively are shown, the present disclosure may not be limited thereto. For example, five finger through-holes 14 corresponding to five fingers of one hand may be defined in the distal closed end of each tubular thermal-insulating inner liner 10.
  • Each of the left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners 10 may have the distal closed end having the at least one finger through-hole 14 defined therein may act to thermally insulate the wearer's hands from the outer cold ambient while the user may perform a desired task, for example, a manipulation of the smart phone, etc.
  • FIG. 5 is a schematic view of an upper garment 200 having left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners coupled to left and right sleeves of the garment in accordance with a second embodiment. In this embodiment, the same reference numerals as those in the first embodiment may be used to indicate the same or similar components as those in the first embodiment. Thus, detailed descriptions for the same or similar components as those in the first embodiment may be omitted.
  • As shown in FIG. 5, in this second embodiment, at least one finger-shaped hollow extension 110 may be formed to correspond to the at least one finger through-hole 14 defined in the distal end of the tubular thermal-insulating inner liner 10. The at least one finger-shaped hollow extension 110 may communicate with the at least one finger through-hole 14 respectively. The at least one finger-shaped hollow extension 110 may extend outwardly from the distal end of the tubular thermal-insulating inner liner 10.
  • Although two finger-shaped hollow extensions 110 corresponding to an index finger and thumb respectively are shown, the present disclosure may not be limited thereto. For example, five finger-shaped hollow extensions 110 corresponding to five fingers of one hand may extend from the distal closed end of each tubular thermal-insulating inner liner 10.
  • Thus, the hand body of the user is accommodated in the hand-accommodation portion 12 and the index finger and thumb is fitted into the two finger-shaped hollow extensions 110 respectively. In this state, the user may perform the desired task while the thermal-insulating inner liners 10 act to thermally insulate the wearer's hands from the outer cold ambient.
  • In one embodiment, the at least one finger-shaped hollow extension 110 may contain a conductive material to allow a capacitive interaction with the touch screen or smart phones.
  • FIG. 6 is a schematic view of an upper garment having left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners coupled to left and right sleeves of the garment in accordance with a third embodiment. In this embodiment, the same reference numerals as those in the first embodiment may be used to indicate the same or similar components as those in the first embodiment. Thus, detailed descriptions for the same or similar components as those in the first embodiment may be omitted. In particular, FIG. 6 shows a state where the tubular thermal-insulating inner liner is folded inside out.
  • As shown in FIG. 6, in this third embodiment, the tubular thermal-insulating inner liner 10 may be coupled to each of the left and right long sleeves 11 via a zipper 220. Thus, the tubular thermal-insulating inner liner 10 may be attached to or detached from each of the left and right long sleeves 11. The present disclosure may not be limited thereto. The tubular thermal-insulating inner liner 10 may be coupled to each of the left and right long sleeves 11 via a Velcro member (not shown).
  • In this way, in non-use of the tubular thermal-insulating inner liner 10, the tubular thermal-insulating inner liner 10 may be removed from each of the left and right long sleeves 11. This may lead to user convenience.
  • FIG. 7 is a schematic view of an upper garment 400 having left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners coupled to left and right sleeves of the garment in accordance with a fourth embodiment. In this embodiment, the same reference numerals as those in the first embodiment may be used to indicate the same or similar components as those in the first embodiment. Thus, detailed descriptions for the same or similar components as those in the first embodiment may be omitted.
  • As shown in FIG. 7, in this fourth embodiment, the hand-accommodation portion 12 of the tubular thermal-insulating inner liner 10 may have an elastic annular portion 310. This elastic annular portion 310 may be defined at a middle portion of the hand-accommodation portion 12.
  • Thus, the elastic annular portion 310 may allow the hand-accommodation portion 12 to air-tightly contact the hand body, thereby to prevent an outer cold air from entering the tubular sleeve. This may maximize the thermal insulation of the tubular thermal-insulating inner liner 10.
  • FIG. 8 is a schematic view of pants having left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners coupled to left and right long legs of the pants in accordance with a fifth embodiment. In this embodiment, the same reference numerals as those in the first embodiment may be used to indicate the same or similar components as those in the first embodiment. Thus, detailed descriptions for the same or similar components as those in the first embodiment may be omitted.
  • As shown in FIG. 8, the pants 500 may include left and right long legs and left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners coupled to left and right long legs. The left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners 10 may act to thermally insulate the wearer's long legs from the outer cold ambient.
  • In one embodiment, the types of the pants 500 may be not be limited particularly as long as it may have the long legs to cover the ankles of the feet.
  • In one embodiment, the left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners 10 may be attached to the left and right long legs on distal portions thereof respectively. The left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners 10 may be wrapped by left and right long legs on distal portions thereof respectively. Proximal ends of the left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners 10 may be coupled to the left and right long legs at shin positions of distal portions thereof respectively. Distal ends of the left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners 10 may be coupled to the left and right long sleeves 11 at free ends of distal portions thereof respectively. The left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners 10 may act to thermally insulate the wearer's legs from the outer cold ambient.
  • Further, each of the left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners 10 may have an open proximal end and an open distal end.
  • In one embodiment, the open proximal end and the open distal end of each tubular thermal-insulating inner liner 10 may be coupled to each leg in a sewing or zipper or Velcro manner.
  • In one embodiment, the open proximal end and the open distal end of each tubular thermal-insulating inner liner 10 may be coupled to each leg using securing means 20. The securing means 20 may be embodied in the sewing, zipper and/or Velcro manner.

Claims (12)

What is claimed is:
1. An upper garment comprising:
a body portion;
left and right long sleeves coupled to the body portion; and
left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners coupled to the left and right long sleeves respectively,
wherein the left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners are attached to the left and right long sleeves on distal portions thereof respectively,
wherein the left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners are wrapped by the left and right long sleeves on the distal portions thereof respectively.
2. The upper garment of claim 1, wherein proximal ends of the left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners are coupled to the left and right long sleeves at wrist positions of distal portions thereof respectively, wherein distal ends of the left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners are coupled to the left and right long sleeves at free ends of the distal portions thereof respectively.
3. The upper garment of claim 1, wherein each of the left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners has an open proximal end and a closed distal end, wherein the closed distal end has at least one finger through-hole defined therein.
4. The upper garment of claim 2, wherein each tubular thermal-insulating inner liner has a hand-accommodation portion defined between the proximal and distal ends of the liner, wherein the at least one finger through-hole communicates with the hand-accommodation portion, wherein each tubular thermal-insulating inner liner has the open proximal end communicating with the hand-accommodation portion.
5. The upper garment of claim 4, wherein the hand-accommodation portion is made of an elastic material to allow a flexible adaption to the size of a hand of a wearer.
6. The upper garment of claim 2, wherein the open proximal end and/or the closed distal end of each tubular thermal-insulating inner liner is coupled to each sleeve in a sewing, a zipper and/or a hook and loop fastener manner.
7. The upper garment of claim 6, wherein the open proximal end of each tubular thermal-insulating inner liner 10 is coupled to each sleeve in a separable manner, while the closed distal end of each tubular thermal-insulating inner liner is coupled to each sleeve in a fixed manner.
8. The upper garment of claim 3, further comprising at least one finger-shaped hollow extension to correspond to the at least one finger through-hole, wherein the at least one finger-shaped hollow extension communicates with the at least one finger through-hole respectively, wherein the at least one finger-shaped hollow extension extends outwardly from the distal end of the tubular thermal-insulating inner liner.
9. The upper garment of claim 8, wherein the at least one finger-shaped hollow extension contains a conductive material to allow a capacitive interaction with a touch screen.
10. The upper garment of claim 4, wherein the hand-accommodation portion of the tubular thermal-insulating inner liner has an elastic annular portion.
11. The upper garment of claim 10, wherein the elastic annular portion is defined at a middle position of the hand-accommodation portion.
12. A undergarment comprising:
left and right long legs; and
left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners coupled to the left and right long legs,
wherein the left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners is attached to the left and right long legs on distal portions thereof respectively,
wherein the left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners are wrapped by the left and right long legs on distal portions thereof respectively,
wherein proximal ends of the left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners are coupled to the left and right long legs at shin positions of distal portions thereof respectively,
wherein distal ends of the left and right tubular thermal-insulating inner liners is coupled to the left and right long sleeves at free ends of distal portions thereof respectively.
