Description
- This application is based upon and claims the benefit of priority from Japan Patent Application No. 2015-143490, filed on Jul. 17, 2015, the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference.
- The embodiment of the present disclosure relates to a photoirradiation hair dyeing device used to dye hair by using light.
- Conventionally, as a hair dyeing method, a photoirradiation hair dyeing technology, which is a hair dyeing by using light, has been developed. This photoirradiation hair dyeing technology dyes hair, first by applying a photoirradiation hair dyeing agent including specific substance which colors when reacting with light (for example, a silver salt) is applied to hair, and then by exposing the hair to sunlight or fluorescent lamps (see, for example, JP 2008-069131A) to color the photoirradiation hair dyeing agent. This photoirradiation hair dyeing technology can easily be used in home to dye hair simply, since there is no need to take time or wash the dye away after applying the dye.
- However, when exposed to sunlight or fluorescent lamps, a condition of light irradiation does not stabilize as it is difficult for one who is to photoirradiation hair dye to control an intensity of light and a direction of light irradiation thereto.
- Therefore, a brush form photoirradiation hair dyeing device having a light emission mechanism is suggested as a technology to provide the photoirradiation hair dyeing device capable of photoirradiation hair dyeing, regardless of a condition of illumination such as sunlight or the fluorescent lamps (see, for example, JP 2012-055370A).
- With a device of JP 2012-055370A, a user must keep a brush fixed until the hair dyeing on brushed parts are completed. The user's hand will be occupied for a long time while performing the photoirradiation hair dyeing, losing the original easiness of the photoirradiation hair dyeing rather increasing the user's load.
- The present disclosure is suggested to solve the problems above, and the present disclosure provides the photoirradiation hair dyeing device that has little load to the user.
- The photoirradiation hair dyeing device of the present disclosure dyes hair by light irradiation after applying the photoirradiation hair dye agent to the hair. The photoirradiation hair dyeing device includes: a hood, having an opening portion through which a user's head is inserted and an internal surface; a supporting portion, holding the hood in midair; and a light emitting component, arranged in the internal surface of the hood.
- The supporting portion may have: a base to be placed on a floor; and a pillar standing on the base.
- The hood is a substantially truncated pyramid shape, a substantially truncated cone shape, or a substantially hemispherical shape and the light emitting components are arranged on an entire of the internal surface at equal intervals.
- A light diffuse reflecting component which diffuses light of the light emitting components may be arranged on the internal surface of the hood at equal intervals.
- The light diffuse reflecting components may be arranged around the opening portion of the hood, and the light emitting components may be arranged around an apex portion of the hood.
- The photoirradiation hair dyeing device may have: an angle adjusting mechanism, adjusting an angle of the opening portion of the hood against the floor.
- The photoirradiation hair dyeing device may have: a height adjusting mechanism, adjusting a height of the supporting portion.
- The photoirradiation hair dyeing device may have: a dimmer, adjusting an intensity of light, an irradiation angle, or an irradiation range of the light emitting components.
- The user does not need to hold the photoirradiation hair dyeing device during the irradiation, because the photoirradiation hair dyeing device is held in midair by the supporting portion. Therefore, the user can use the photoirradiation hair dyeing device without any specific operation. Therefore, the user's load when using the photoirradiation hair dyeing device will be reduced, and the photoirradiation hair dyeing can be done easily.

FIG. 1 , the photoirradiationhair dyeing device 10 of the embodiment includes a supportingportion 2, and ahood 1 held in midair by the supportingportion 2. - The supporting
portion 2 is a portion for holding thehood 1 in midair. In the present embodiment, the supportingportion 2 includes apillar 21 and abase 22 for supporting thepillar 21. Thepillar 21 supports thehood 1 on an upper side. - The
base 22 is placed on the floor and is a portion for supporting thepillar 21. Thebase 22 has optional shapes such as, though not limited to, cylinder or cuboid which can be placed on the floor, and holds thepillar 21 at stand position on the upper side thereof. - The
pillar 21 is a member which supports thehood 1 on the upper side, and thepillar 21 stands up from thebase 22 towards a top. For example, thepillar 21 includes two pipes, i.e., alower pipe 21 a and anupper pipe 21 b. Thelower pipe 21 a is placed on an upper surface of thebase 22 and connected to thebase 22 by welding, such that a longitudinal direction of thelower pipe 21 a is along with a vertical direction. - A tightening
nut 3 is a height adjusting mechanism as well as a fixture of theupper pipe 21 b and thelower pipe 21 a. The height adjusting mechanism is a mechanism to make the supportingportion 2 extensible in a height direction that is the vertical direction. - As shown in
FIG. 2 , thehood 1 has a space S (seeFIG. 1 ) inside which the user inserts his/her head, and light emitting components arranged on an internal surface of thehood 1. Thehood 1 includes anopening portion 1 a into which the user inserts his/her head, and aninternal surface 1 b. Theopening portion 1 a has enough size for the user to insert his/her head easily. In other words, a circumference of theopening portion 1 a is about 10 cm-30 cm longer than a circumference of a head of a general adult. Also, the space S surrounded by theinternal surface 1 b of thehood 1 has enough size to cover the head of an adult, when the user inserts his/her head from theopening portion 1 a. Thehood 1 is substantially hemispherical shape that is a similar shape to the user's head. Here, substantially hemispherical shape includes a hemispherical shape or a shape similar to a hemispherical shape. - The
hood 1 is held by the supportingportion 2, such that theopening portion 1 a faces against the floor. Furthermore, one point of the periphery portion or theapex portion 1 c of thehood 1 is attached to the upper side of thepillar 21 via the angle adjusting mechanism 4. - The angle adjusting mechanism 4 is a joint component which enables an angle of the
hood 1 to change at optional angle. The angle of thehood 1 is an angle between theopening portion 1 a and the floor, when regarding theopening portion 1 a of thehood 1 as a surface. A known angle adjusting metal fitting and the like can be applied as the angle adjusting mechanism 4. - The
light emitting components 5 are components arranged to theinternal surface 1 b to irradiate light to hair. Thelight emitting components 5 include components emitting light having a wavelength that enables photoirradiation hair dye. For example, the fluorescent lumps or LED and the like can be used. - The
light emitting components 5 are arranged to theinternal surface 1 b of thehood 1 at equal intervals. Thelight emitting component 5 is horizontally stripe pattern parallel to theopening portion 1 a of thehood 1, in other words, placed concentrically to the apex of thehood 1 as a center. - Although not illustrated, a body of the photoirradiation
hair dyeing device 10 has a switch to turn on or off the photoirradiationhair dyeing device 10. A power is on when turning on the switch and the light irradiation from thelight emitting components 5 starts. A power is off when turning off the switch and the light irradiation from thelight emitting components 5 stops. - The body of the photoirradiation
hair dyeing device 10 includes the dimmer 7 that can adjust the intensity of light, the irradiation angle, or the irradiation range of thelight emitting components 5. The dimmer 7 includes: afirst dial 7 a for adjusting the intensity of light, and thesecond dial 7 b for adjusting the irradiation angle and the irradiation range of light according to a length of hair. - The
first dial 7 a adjusts the intensity of light. By increasing a number of thefirst dial 7 a of the dimmer 7, the intensity of light irradiated from thelight emitting components 5 increases, and an amount of light irradiated increases. By decreasing the number of thefirst dial 7 a of the dimmer 7, the intensity of light irradiated from thelight emitting components 5 decreases, and an amount of light irradiated decreases. - The
second dial 7 b adjusts the irradiation angle and range according to the length of hair. Here, there are two types of settings, “SHORT” for short hair and “LONG” for long hair. When thesecond dial 7 b is set to “LONG”, all thelight emitting components 5 irradiates light. Furthermore, the irradiation angle of thelight emitting components 5 around theopening portion 1 a is directed towards the floor. When thesecond dial 7 b is set to “SHORT”, thelight emitting components 5 around theopening portion 1 a do not irradiate light. - Although not illustrated, the
hood 1 includes a heat vent. The heat vent is provided by arranging holes on optional position of thehood 1. The number and size of the holes is not limited. By arranging the heat vent, a heat of thelight emitting components 5 can be exhausted to the outside of thehood 1. - (Function)
- A function of the photoirradiation
hair dyeing device 10 of the present embodiment, with a behavior of the user, is explained below. - In advance, the user applies known photoirradiation hair dyeing agent to hair. The agent may be applied to the desired portion of hair, and it may be the entire hair or only a part of a hair root.
- The user adjusts the height and the angle of the
hood 1, so that the user's head is placed in a center of the space S surrounded by theinternal surface 1 b of thehood 1. For example, when the user uses the photoirradiationhair dyeing device 10 while sitting on a chair, the user first checks the height position of the user's head. Then, the height of the supportingportion 2 is adjusted so that the height of thehood 1 will be as same as the height checked by the height adjusting mechanism. When the tighteningnut 3 is loosened, the height of the supportingportion 2 can be adjusted by moving theupper pipe 21 b in the vertical direction. Also, when the tighteningnut 3 is tightened, theupper pipe 21 b will be fixed, and the height of the supportingportion 2 will be fixed. Therefore, thehood 1 arranged on the upper side of the supportingportion 2 can be adjusted and fixed. In addition, the user can move the angle of thehood 1, so that the edge of theopening portion 1 a of thehood 1 will not hit the head while sitting. - The user switches the photoirradiation
hair dyeing device 10 on. The photoirradiationhair dyeing device 10 starts, and light will be irradiated from thelight emitting components 5. The hair will be exposed to the light irradiated, and photoirradiation hair dyeing will proceed. As a result, a color of the hair gradually changes by the time, and the hair will be dyed. - After the photoirradiation
hair dyeing device 10 is switched on, the user adjusts the amount of light using thefirst dial 7 a of the dimmer 7. A speed of the photoirradiation hair dyeing differs in accordance with the amount of light irradiated. Therefore, the user adjusts the amount of light depending on a color or timing of dyeing desired. For example, if the white hair should be dyed slowly, the dyeing is performed with less amount of light. Conversely, if hair dye should be performed quickly, the dyeing is performed with more amount of light. - If the dyeing proceeds too slowly or too quickly, the user can control the amount of light from the
light emitting components 5 by thefirst dial 7 a during the irradiation. - The user sets the length of hair by the
second dial 7 b of the dimmer 7. It will be set “LONG” if the hair is long, and set “SHORT” if the hair is short. The irradiation range and angle of thelight emitting components 5 are determined in accordance with the set length of hair. - (Effects)
- (1) The photoirradiation
hair dyeing device 10 of the present embodiment dyes hair by irradiating light to hair to which the hair dyeing agent is applied. The photoirradiationhair dyeing device 10 comprises: thehood 1, having the openingportion 1 a through which a user's head is inserted and theinternal surface 1 b; the supportingportion 2, holding thehood 1 in midair; thelight emitting components 5 arranged on theinternal surface 1 b of thehood 1. - According to the photoirradiation
hair dyeing device 10 of the present embodiment, the user has no need to held the photoirradiationhair dyeing device 10 during the irradiation, because thehood 1 is held in midair. Therefore, the user's load will be reduced since the user's hands will not be occupied by thephotoirradiation hair device 10 while using it. The user can photoirradiation hair dye easily without the load. - (2) The supporting
portion 2 includes: the base 22 to be placed on the floor, and thepillar 21 standing on thebase 22. By this structure, the photoirradiationhair dyeing device 10 is a stand type, and self-standing on the floor. The user can move the photoirradiationhair dyeing device 10 to any position. The user can use the photoirradiationhair dyeing device 10 at desired place indoor. - (3) The
hood 1 is substantially truncated pyramid shape, substantially truncated cone shape, or substantially hemispherical shape, and thelight emitting components 5 are arranged on the entire of theinternal surface 1 b at equal intervals. - The
hood 1 has substantially truncated pyramid shape, substantially truncated cone shape, or substantially hemispherical shape that is a similar shape to the user's head, so that a perimeter of the head surrounded by thehood 1 has equal distance from theinternal surface 1 b of thehood 1. In addition, thelight emitting components 5 are arranged on the entireinternal surface 1 b at equal intervals, so that the head has equal distance from thelight emitting components 5. Therefore, in the present embodiment, uniform light is irradiated simultaneously to the entire head. - The light can be irradiated to a broad range simultaneously according to the present embodiment. In comparison, in the case of the brush shaped photoirradiation hair device, because an area of the brush is limited, there is a need to change a position of irradiation plural times according to the irradiation area of the brush so as to dye the entire hair. Quite a long time will be needed to dye the entire hair. Also, the irradiation time would vary in each part, thereby causing uneven dyeing. In contrast, according to the present embodiment, the dyeing time will be shortened significantly for there is no need to dye each part in turn like the brush shaped device.
- Furthermore, by irradiating to broad range simultaneously, a variation of the irradiation time for each part would be suppressed, an irregularity will decrease. The irregularity will also decrease because light is irradiated equivalently to each parts simultaneously. In particular, the entire hair will be surrounded by the
hood 1 when the hair of the user, for example men, is short. Therefore, equivalent light will be irradiated simultaneously to the entire hair. The photoirradiation hair dyeing can be performed with much less irregularity. - (4) The angle adjusting mechanism 4 adjusting the angle of the
opening portion 1 a of thehood 1 against the floor is provided. The user can set thehood 1 at desired angle position by adjusting the angle. For example, when setting the angle of thehood 1 such that theopening portion 1 a is parallel to the floor, the user can use the photoirradiationhair dyeing device 10 by inserting his/her head with his/her upper body standing straight. By setting the angle of thehood 1 such that theopening portion 1 a is tilted against the floor, the user can use the photoirradiationhair dyeing device 10 by inserting his/her head in a reclining position such as when leaning on a backrest of a chair. The user can use the photoirradiationhair dyeing device 10 indoor at free pose without any special operation. - The user's head can be positioned to be placed at the center of the space S surrounded by the
internal surface 1 b of thehood 1. Thelight emitting components 5 arranged on theinternal surface 1 b of thehood 1 are at equal distance and not in contact with any of the hair. For example, in the case where the photoirradiation hair dyeing device is brush shaped or comb shaped, when the undried photoirradiation hair dyeing agent contacts directly to pins, the photoirradiation hair dyeing agent applied to the hair would be removed, causing the irregularity. Also, if the photoirradiation hair dyeing agent adheres to the photoirradiation hair dyeing device, it might cause the photoirradiation hair dyeing device malfunction. To prevent these problems, the user have to wait until the photoirradiation hair dyeing agent dries, causing an excessive waiting time losing the simplicity of the photoirradiation hair dyeing agent. However, in the present embodiment, there is no need to wait the photoirradiation hair dyeing agent to dry, and the excessive waiting time will not occur. - The tightening
nut 3 as the height adjusting mechanism to adjust the height of the supportingportion 2 is provided. The user can adjust the height of thehood 1 of the photoirradiationhair dyeing device 10 at desired position by adjusting the height of the supportingportion 2. The user can use the photoirradiationhair dyeing device 10 indoor at free pose, regardless of a height of the chair or the user without any special operation. - (6) The dimmer 7 adjusting the intensity of light, irradiation angle and range of by the
light emitting components 5 is provided. The user can control a processing speed of the hair dyeing by adjusting the intensity of light irradiated. The user can adjust the color and the end timing of the dyeing personally. The user can control a part of the hair to be irradiated by adjusting the angle or range of light irradiated. The user can adjust the parts to be dyed personally. - (7) The
pillar 21 includes theupper pipe 21 b bent in the middle. By this structure, an angle moving range of theopening portion 1 a of thehood 1 against the floor is broader. For example, by bending theupper pipe 21, thehood 1 will not abut the supportingportion 2 even when theopening portion 1 a is set parallel to the floor. - (8) The
light emitting components 5 can be compact by using LED, and thus whole size of the photoirradiationhair dyeing device 10 can also be compact. - (9) When the
second dial 7 b is set “LONG”, alllight emitting components 5 will irradiate light to the entire head. Light reaches to the lower part since the irradiation angle of thelight emitting components 5 around theopening portion 1 a is directed towards the floor. Thus, in a case when one having long hair uses the photoirradiationhair dyeing device 10, a tip of the hair sticking out from the space S inside thehood 1 can be irradiated. When thesecond dial 7 b is set “SHORT”, thelight emitting components 5 around theopening portion 1 a will not irradiate light, and light will be irradiated mainly on the top of the head. This prevents the user's neck, where the hair does not grow and are not to be irradiated, from irradiation, thus the user's discomfort due to light and heat can be reduced. - (10) The heat vent is provided to release the heat of the
light emitting components 5 outside. This prevents an excessive increase of temperature of thehood 1 caused by the heat of thelight emitting components 5, and prevents the user from accidents such as burn when contacted with thehood 1. - (11) By the structure mentioned above, the photoirradiation
hair dyeing device 10 of the present embodiment can photoirradiation dye hair easily in a short time when the user wants to dye hair, even in bad weather such as rainy day or cloudy day. The photoirradiation hair dyeing will proceed fast by sunlight in a sunny day, but will take several days in a bad weather. The photoirradiationhair dyeing device 10 of the present embodiment enables to photoirradiation hair dye gradually by natural light, after proceeding hair dyeing using the photoirradiationhair dyeing device 10 for a short time before going outside even in a bad weather. - (Structure)
- The second embodiment has a same basic structure as the first embodiment. As illustrated in
FIG. 3 , the photoirradiationhair dyeing device 10′ of the second embodiment has thelight emitting components 5 and light diffuse reflecting components 6 on theinternal surface 1 b of thehood 1. - The light diffuse reflecting components 6 are sheets to diffuse reflect light. As example of such sheet, a blind sheet such as optically transparent substrates having microscopic irregularities on surface thereof can be employed. A known light diffusion sheet can also be employed.
- The
light emitting components 5 are arranged on theinternal surface 1 b of thehood 1 at equal intervals, and the light diffuse reflecting components 6 are arranged on the remaining parts of theinternal surface 1 b of thehood 1 at equal intervals. As illustrated inFIG. 3 , thelight emitting components 5 are around theapex portion 1 c of thehood 1 concentrically to the apex of thehood 1 as a center, and a light reflecting components 6 is placed around theopening portion 1 a of thehood 1 concentrically to the apex of thehood 1 as a center. - (Effect)
- (1) The light diffuse reflecting components 6, which diffuse light of the
light emitting components 5, are arranged on theinternal surface 1 b of thehood 1 at equal intervals. Light of thelight emitting components 5 will diffuse and be reflected, so that equivalent light is irradiated to the entire hair even when reducing the number of thelight emitting components 5. By reducing the number of the LEDs, cost for manufacturing the photoirradiationhair dyeing device 10′ will be cut down. Also, the amount electric power used will be reduced, and cost for using photoirradiationhair dyeing device 10′ will be cut down. - By diffusing and reflecting the direct light of LED or fluorescent lumps, the light becomes like natural light. It will reduce a glare, resulting in an increase of comfort when using the photoirradiation
hair dyeing device 10′. - (2) The light diffuse reflecting components 6 are arranged around the
opening portion 1 a of thehood 1, and thelight emitting components 5 are arranged around theapex portion 1 c of thehood 1. By arranging thelight emitting components 5 around theapex portion 1 c of thehood 1, the light reflecting components 6 reflects and diffuses light effectively. cl Other Embodiments - The embodiment of the present disclosure is explained above, but various omissions, replacements, and modifications can be made thereto without departing from the broadest scope of the present disclosure. In addition, such embodiments and examples thereof should be within the scope of the present disclosure, and also within the scope of the disclosure as recited in appended claims and the equivalent range thereto.
- In addition to above mentioned embodiments, a bottom of the base 22 may have a caster. It will be easy to move the photoirradiation
10 and 10′.hair dyeing device - In the above embodiment, the
upper pipe 21 b is bent in the middle, however it is not limited to the structure. For example, thepillar 21 may stand straight from thebase 22, and thelower pipe 21 a may be bent in the middle. - In the above embodiment, the tightening
nut 3 functions as the height adjusting mechanism as well as the fixture, however it is not limited to the structure. For example, the height adjusting mechanism and the fixture may be on different elements. - In the above embodiment, the
hood 1 is substantially truncated cone shaped, however it is not limited to the structure. For example, thehood 1 may be a shape similar to the user's head such as substantially truncated pyramid shape, or substantially hemispherical shape. - In the above embodiment, the
light emitting components 5 are arranged on the entireinternal surface 1 b of thehood 1 concentrically to the apex as a center, however it is not limited to the structure. For example, thelight emitting components 5 may cover entireinternal surface 1 b, be in checker pattern, be in spiral pattern with the apex of thehood 1 as a center, be in horizontal stripe pattern parallel to an edge of theopening portion 1 a, or be in vertical stripe pattern vertical to the edge of theopening portion 1 a. If the components are arranged in these patterns, thelight emitting components 5 can be arranged equivalently to the whole surface at the same time reducing the number of thelight emitting components 5. - In the above embodiment, the supporting
portion 2 comprises thepillar 21 and thebase 22 for holding thepillar 21, wherein thepillar 21 holds thehood 1 on the upper side, however it is not limited to the structure. For example, the supportingportion 2 may be a pillar or cable suspended from a ceiling and extended towards the floor, and suspends thehood 1 in midair. - In the above embodiment, the dimmer 7 includes: the
first dial 7 a for adjusting the intensity of light; and thesecond dial 7 b for adjusting the irradiation range and angle of light in accordance with the length of hair, however the dimmer 7 may include only either one of the dials. - In the above embodiment, the
second dial 7 b adjusts the irradiation range and angle of light in accordance with the two types of the length of hair “SHORT” and “LONG”, however it is not limited to the structure. For example, it can be set adjustable by dividing the length of hair into five types. Furthermore, the users may set each irradiation range and angle individually. In this case, when the user wants to dye only the top of the hair, he will adjust the dimmer 7 so that only thelight emitting components 5 around theapex portion 1 c of thehood 1 irradiates light. - In the second embodiment above, the
light emitting components 5 are set around theapex portion 1 c of thehood 1 concentrically to the apex of thehood 1 as a center, and the light diffuse reflecting components 6 around theopening portion 1 a concentrically to the apex of thehood 1 as a center, however it is not limited to the structure. For example, thelight emitting components 5 and the light diffuse reflecting components 6 can be in checker pattern, be in horizontally stripe pattern alternately parallel to theopening portion 1 a, or vertically stripe pattern alternately.
