Abstract
A convection wall heater with a power cord, including a heater body. The heater body comprises a heating unit, an electrical control unit and an operating control unit. The heater body further comprises air inlet holes and air outlet holes and an air convection chamber within the body. It is characterized that the heater body is provided with a power cord and a plug; the first end of the power cord is connected to the electrical control unit or the heating unit; the power cord extends to the outside of the heater body and the second end of the power cord is connected to the plug. The heater is mobile and can be used indoor with any power outlet by hanging it on the wall.
Description
- The present invention relates to the filed of heating technology, in particular to a convection wall heater with power cord plug.
- The convector heater convection wall heaters currently on the market are installed by directly through the warm-up lead wire or lead wire through the wire holder, and then wire connect the power terminal block within the wall. In this fashion the heater is fixed and cannot be moved and it is inconvenient; therefore it is necessary to be improved.
- For the shortcomings of the prior art, the objective of the present invention is to provide with convection wall heater with power cord plug, as such it is easy to use and allow quick installation, the heater can be moved or can be wall-mounted fixed.
- In order to accomplish above goals, the technical solution adopted by the present invention is: a convection wall heater with power cord plug, comprises a heater body. The heater body is provided a heating unit, an electrical control unit an operating control unit. The heater body or front casing is provided with air inlet holes and air outlet holes. The heater body is provided with an air convention chamber. Furthermore, the heater body is provided with a power cord and a plug. The first end of the power cord connected with the electrical control unit or the heating unit. The second of power cord extends to the outside of the heater body. The second end of power cord connected with the plug.
- One side of the heater body is provided with a front casing. The front casing snapped or screw-attached onto the heater body.
- The air convention chamber is provided with a thermostat. The thermostat is electrically connected with the electrical control unit ∘
- The backend of said heater body is provided with a hanging frame or mounting holes.
- The backend of the heater body is provided with snapping holes or screw holes; the hanging frame is provided with a snapping piece; wherein the snapping pieces match with the snapping holes or the mounting holes.
- The hanging frame comprises horizontal bars and vertical bars; the horizontal and vertical bars are provided with mounting holes.

- The heater body is provided with a power terminal block for electrically connection with an external power cord; and the power terminal block is provided with an in-line hole.
- The heater body is provided with a power terminal block casing. The power terminal block casing is fixed onto the heater body. The power terminal block casing provides cover for the power terminal block. The power terminal block casing is provided with an in-line hole for feeding through an external power cord.
- With the above described structural characteristics, the convection wall heater of the present invention provides heating function with air convection with the heater body and the heater can be mobile and mounted in an appropriate position with the power cord plug in a power outlet, as such, it is fast and convenient for moving around the room; the heater can also be hung on the wall.

FIG. 1˜FIG . 7: the present invention of convection wall heater with power cord plug comprises aheater body 3. Theheater body 3 is provided with aheating unit 2electrical control unit 6 and anoperating control unit 7. Theheater body 3 is provided with an air convention chamber. Theheater body 3 orfront casing 4 is provided with air inlet holes and air outlet holes. Theheater body 3 is provided with apower cord 1 andplug 9. The first end ofpower cord 1 is connected withelectrical control unit 6 orheating unit 2. The second end ofpower cord 1 extends to the outside of theheater body 3; the second ofpower cord 1 with connected withplug 9. One side of theheater body 3 is provided with afront casing 4. Thefront casing 4 snapped or screw-attached onto theheater body 3. The air convention chamber is provided with a thermostat 5 and the thermostat 5 is electrically connected with theelectrical control unit 6. - The backend of the
heater body 3 is provided with a hangingframe 8. The backend ofheater body 3 is also provided with snapping holes or mounting holes. The hangingframe 8 is provided with snapping pieces. Where, the snapping pieces of the hangingframe 8 match with the snapping holes or the mounting holes. In an another set up, the backend of theheater body 3 is provided with screw holes for fixing with the hangingframe 8. The hangingframe 8 comprises horizontal bars and vertical bars, and the horizontal and vertical bars are provided with mounting holes. The shape of the hangingframe 8 can be square shaped T-shaped or H-shaped. - Following are detail descriptions of each main components of the present invention of convection wall heater:

power cord 1 and plug 9: are power cords and plugs complied with various internationally standards, such as U.S. standard, Euro standard, and CCC certified; - heating unit 2: can be any electrical heating unit;

heater body 3 and front casing 4: for providing mounting and protecting purpose ofheating unit 2, as well as for air inlet holes and air outlet holes to allow air convection; thefront casing 4 snapped or screw-attached onto theheater body 3; together thefront casing 4 andheater body 3 form the air convention chamber; - electrical control unit 6: an optional component. It can be canceled from the present invention when the preferred embodiment prefers a direct plug in for heating;
- operating control unit 7: an optional component to include in the present invention for added features such as automatic on and off, time and temperature setting.
- thermostat: when the temperature reaches a preset level, the thermostat cuts the power for further heating for control and overheating protection purpose. The convection wall heater of the present invention is self included a
plug 9, for allowing easy moving and installation around the indoor walls. The convection wall heater generates heat from the heating unit through the air convection from the bottom up to reach the heating function. When the convection wall heater operates the air is sucked in the heater through convection; the air is heated by the heating unit at the bottom of the convection wall heater, the cold is heated then rise to the top of the air outlet holes of the heater body or the upper portion of the front panel to realize heating function, there does not require ventilation fans and motors. The convection wall heater of the present invention can be mounted to wall by it's hanging frame. It can also be used by the power cord mobile installation position wall socket plug in the wall or on the ground - Said
heater body 3 is provided with apower terminal block 10, as shown inFIG. 6˜FIG . 7, for electrical connection with an external power cord. Thepower terminal block 10 is provided with an in-line hole, for feeding through external power cord. Theheater body 3 is provided with a power terminal block casing 11, the power terminal block casing 11 is fixed onto theheater body 3. The power terminal block casing 11 provides cover for thepower terminal block 10. The power terminal block casing 11 is provided with an in-line hole for feeding through external power cord. The user can operates the heater with plug or connects power line with the power terminal block. - Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.
Claims (9)
1. A convection wall heater with power cord plug, comprising a heater body; said heater body is provided with a heating unita front casingan electrical control unit and an operating control unit; said heater body or front casing is provided with air inlet holes and air outlet holes; within said heater body an air convention chamber is provided; it is characterized that: said heater body is further provided with a power cord and a plug; the first end of said power cord is connected to said electrical control unit or heating unit, and the second end of said power cord extends to the outside of said heater body; and the second end of said power cord is connected to a plug.
2. The convection wall heater with power cord plug as claimed in claim 1 wherein, it is characterized that: said front casing is attached to one side of said heater body; said front casing is snapped onto said heater body or screw-attached to said heater body.
3. The convection wall heater with power cord plug as claimed in claim 1 wherein, it is characterized in that: said convention chamber is provided with a thermostat and said thermostat is electrically connected to said electrical control unit.
4. The convection wall heater with power cord plug as claimed in claim 1 wherein, it is characterized in that: the backend of said heater body is provided with a hanging frame or mounting holes.
5. The convection wall heater with power cord plug as claimed in claim 4 wherein, it is characterized in that: the backend of said heater body is provided with snapping holes or screw holes, and said hanging frame is provided with snapping pieces; and said snapping pieces of hanging frame matching said snapping holes or mounting holes of said heater body.
6. The convection wall heater with power cord plug as claimed in claim 4 wherein, it is characterized in that: said hanging frame comprising horizontal bars and vertical bars; and said horizontal and vertical bars are provided with mounting holes.
8. The convection wall heater with power cord plug as claimed in claim 1 wherein, it is characterized in that: said heater body is provided with a power terminal block that electrically connected with said power cord; and said power terminal block is provided with in-line hole.
9. The convection wall heater with power cord plug as claimed in claim 8 wherein, it is characterized in that: said heater body is provided with a power terminal block casing; said power terminal block casing is fixed onto said heater body; said power terminal block casing provides cover for said power terminal block; and said power terminal block casing is provided with an in-line hole for said power cord.
