Abstract
A ceiling fan structure has a motor, a decorative cover, and several blade components. The decorative cover covers on the outer side of the motor and is installed on the motor. Each blade component includes a support and a blade. Each blade is installed on a corresponding support. Each support is installed on the decorative cover. The motor drives the decorative cover to rotate, thereby rotating the blade components.
Description
- 1. Field of Invention
- The invention relates to a ceiling fan structure and, in particular, to a ceiling fan structure whose blade supports are installed on a decorative cover that is connected to the motor thereof.
- 2. Related Art
- A conventional ceiling fan structure is illustrated in
FIG. 3 . It has amotor 51. Theblades 52 thereof are installed onsupports 53, which are then installed on themotor 51. As themotor 51 rotates, thesupports 53 are driven to rotate theblades 52. Due to the restriction of suitable position on themotor 51 in such a structure as well as the limited space, the supports 53 and theblades 52 can only be mounted at specific places. Therefore, the ceiling fan structure has very limited variations and decorations. - It is then the main theme of the invention to solve the above-mentioned problems.
- An objective of the invention is to provide a ceiling fan structure whose blade supports are installed on a decorative cover that is connected to a motor. The motor rotates the decorative cover, which then drives the blade supports to rotate. Therefore, the blade supports can be installed at any arbitrary places on the decorative cover according to one's need, rendering high versatility of the ceiling fan.
- To achieve the above-mentioned objective, the disclosed ceiling fan structure includes a motor, a decorative cover, and several blade components. The decorative cover covers on the outer side of the motor, and is installed on the motor. Each of the blade components includes a support and a blade. Each blade is installed on a corresponding support. Each support is installed on the decorative cover. As the motor drives the decorative cover to rotate, thereby rotating the blade components.
- The bottom of the motor is mounted with a connecting base that has a lamp. The bottom of the decorative cover has an opening for the connecting base to go through.
- The bottom of the decorative cover has several fixing holes. The top of each support has a fixing part. Each support is mounted under the decorative cover, with a fixing element going downward through the corresponding fixing hole of the decorative cover and fixing onto the corresponding fixing part of the support. The supports are thus integrated to the decorative cover.
- These and other features, aspects and advantages of the invention will become apparent by reference to the following description and accompanying drawings which are given by way of illustration only, and thus are not limitative of the invention, and wherein:
-
FIG. 1 is an exploded view of the invention; -
FIG. 2 is a partial cross-sectional view of the invention after assembly; and -
FIG. 3 is an exploded view of a conventional ceiling fan structure. - The present invention will be apparent from the following detailed description, which proceeds with reference to the accompanying drawings, wherein the same references relate to the same elements.
- Please refer to
FIGS. 1 and 2 for the ceiling fan structure according to the invention. The disclosed ceiling fan structure includes amotor 1, a decorative cover 2, and several blade components 3 (only one of which is shown). Themotor 1 is an external rotor motor. That is, the rotor surrounds a stator on the axis and rotates with respect to the axis. The decorative cover 2 encloses themotor 1 from the outer side thereof and is mounted on the rotor of themotor 1. In this embodiment, the decorative cover 2 is locked onto the rotor of themotor 1 usingfixing screws 21. As themotor 1 rotates, the decorative cover 2 is driven to rotate as well. - Each of the
blade components 3 includes asupport 31 and ablade 32. Each of theblades 32 is installed on acorresponding support 31. Each support is installed on the decorative cover 2. In this embodiment, the bottom of the decorative cover 2 hasseveral fixing holes 22. The top of eachsupport 31 has afixing part 311. Eachsupport 31 is installed under the decorative cover 2. Afixing element 33 going downward through thecorresponding fixing hole 22 of the decorative cover 2 and fixing onto thecorresponding fixing part 311 of thesupport 31, thereby integrating thesupports 31 and the decorative cover 2 together. When themotor 1 rotates the decorative cover 2, theblade components 3 are driven to rotate as well. - As described above, the invention has the advantage that the rotation of the
blade components 3 is achieved via the decorative cover 2. Therefore, each of theblade components 3 can be installed on an arbitrary position on the decorative cover 2 and still achieve the desired rotation effect. Furthermore, the decorative cover 2 can be designed to have creative, characteristic style and shape. Each of theblade components 3 can be installed at an appropriate position on the decorative cover 2 under the consideration of practical and beauty purposes. Therefore, there are more places for theblade components 3 to install. The ceiling fan thus has higher versatility in shape and becomes decorative. - Besides, the bottom of the
motor 1 is provided with a connectingbase 11 for the connection of a lamp 4. The bottom of the decorative cover 2 has acorresponding opening 23 for theconnecting base 11 to go through. In this case, the disclosed ceiling fan has the functions of both illumination and decoration. - Although the invention has been described with reference to specific embodiments, this description is not meant to be construed in a limiting sense. Various modifications of the disclosed embodiments, as well as alternative embodiments, will be apparent to people skilled in the art. Therefore, it is contemplated that the appended claims will cover all modifications that fall within the true scope of the invention.
