Description
- The present invention relates to exercise training, and more particularly to a spring tension control device of boxing trainer.
- Principle of conventional martial training device is one punching bag (such as speed bag or filler bag), when punched by external force, will swing back and forth or absorb the impact utilizing elasticity of elastomer connecting to said punching bag.
- Elastic coefficients of elastomer of most said martial training devices are fixed so elastic strength and flexibility cannot be adjusted upon different needs, resulting in insufficient combat training. There are a small number of existing training devices which are elasticity-adjustable. However, they are either done by rigid structures adjusted by stretching spiral sleeves or screws, which may result in dangers when there is breakage due to excess impact or users may be injured by direct hit on the structure; or it may be done by mere air inflation of elastic bladder, resulting in insufficient elasticity to meet demanded strength for training.
- Please reference to U.S. publication patent No. US20130109541. In order to improve above drawback, a punching elasticity adjustment structure is disclosed and comprises one punching bag connecting set, one elastic bladder, one air valve, one base, and one elastomer. The said elastic bladder is inflated via said air valve to increase the inner pressure so the said elastic bladder expands vertically with risen height, resulting in bigger gap between said punching hag connecting set and said base and simultaneously elongates said elastomer and changes its elasticity. Elasticity therefore can be adjusted to meet the demand of diversified training effects.
- However, the structure is complicated and the operation is inconvenient.
- An objective of this invention is providing a spring tension control device of boxing trainer. It has simplified structure, and the tension of the spring is easy to be adjusted through the arrangement of the sleeve and the bolt to adjust the punching resistance of the boxing bag, and further to train the sportsman's punching strength. Furthermore, it is convenient to assembly and operate, because the rod and/or the spring is covered the sleeve and the bolt is directly against the rod to fasten the sleeve.
- To achieve above objectives, a spring tension control device of boxing trainer is provided. The boxing trainer includes a base, at least one spring tension control device and a boxing bag, wherein the at least one spring tension control device is connected between the base and the boxing bag, and which is characterized that the at least one spring tension control device includes a rod, a spring, a sleeve, and a bolt; wherein one end of the spring is connected to one end of the rod, the sleeve is movably covered outside the rod or outside the rod and the spring, and one end of the rod adjacent to the sleeve is provide for bolt to be passed through radially, thereby the bolt is against the rod to fasten the sleeve.
- In one embodiment, the at least one spring tension control device is a single spring tension control device, one end of the rod far away from the spring is connected to the boxing bag, and one end of the spring far away from the rod is connected to the base.
- In another embodiment, the at least one spring tension control device is two spring tension control devices, the spring of one of the spring tension control device far away from the rod is connected to the base thereof and one end of the rod far away from the spring is connected to the rod of the other spring tension control device, and the spring of one end of the other spring tension control device far away from the rod is connected to the boxing bag thereof.
- Further features and advantages of the present invention will become apparent to those of skill in the art in view of the detailed description of preferred embodiments which follows, when considered together with the attached drawings and claims.
- All the objects, advantages, and novel features of the invention will become more apparent from the following detailed descriptions when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

FIGS. 1 and 6 , theboxing trainer 1 of this invention may comprise abase 2, at least one springtension control device 3, and aboxing bag 4, wherein the springtension control device 3 may be connected between thebase 2 and theboxing bag 4. - The spring
tension control device 3 of this embodiment is single one, and may comprise arod 31, aspring 32, asleeve 33, and abolt 34. - One end of the
spring 32 is connected to one end of therod 31. Thesleeve 33 is movably covered outside therod 31 or outside therod 31 andspring 32. One end of thesleeve 33 adjacent to therod 31 may be provided for thebolt 34 to be passed through radially, thereby thebolt 34 is against therod 31 to fasten thesleeve 33. - That is, when the
sleeve 33 partially covers outside the spring 32 (shown as inFIGS. 3 and 4 ), thespring 32 is partially exposed and the exposed part of thespring 32 may be bent and still with tension through therod 31 while theboxing bag 4 is punched. When thesleeve 33 totally covers outside the spring 32 (shown as inFIGS. 5 and 6 ), thespring 32 is not exposed and thespring 32 is limited by thesleeve 33 and without tension and the punching resistance may be extremely large while theboxing bag 4 is punched. - Because the tension of the
spring 32 is relative to the length thereof, the tension of thespring 32 is larger to make the punching resistance of theboxing bag 4 smaller while thesleeve 33 covers thespring 33 to make the exposed part of thespring 32 is longer, and the tension of thespring 32 is smaller to make the punching resistance of theboxing bag 4 larger while thesleeve 33 covers thespring 33 to make the exposed part of thespring 32 is shorter. - Therefore, according to above mentioned structure, it has simplified structure, and the tension of the
spring 32 is easy to be adjusted through the arrangement of thesleeve 33 and thebolt 34 to adjust the punching resistance of theboxing bag 4, and further to train the sportsman's punching strength. Furthermore, it is convenient to assembly and operate, because therod 31 and/or thespring 32 is covered thesleeve 33 and thebolt 34 is directly against therod 31 to fasten thesleeve 33. -
FIG. 7 is an outside view of the spring tension control of the boxing trainer according to another embodiment of this present invention. - Please refer to
FIG. 7 , the structure of this embodiment is similar to the structure of above mention embodiment and the difference is that the at least one spring tension control device is two spring 3, 3′. Thetension control device spring 32 of one of the springtension control device 3 far away from therod 31 is connected to thebase 2 thereof and one end of therod 31 far away from thespring 32 is connected to therod 31′ of the other springtension control device 3′, and thespring 32′ of one end of the other springtension control device 3′ far away from therod 31′ is connected to theboxing bag 4 thereof. And thesleeve 33′ may be movably fastened outside therod 31′ or outside therod 31′ andspring 32′ through thebolt 34′. - Thereby, the adjustment range of the punching resistance may be increased through adjusting the spring tension of the two spring
3, 3′ to improve the punching strength of sportsman's training.tension control device
