Abstract
A supporting apparatus is used for supporting a device on a platform. The supporting apparatus includes a base fixed to the platform, a shockproof member, and a sliding member. The base defines a receiving recess for receiving the shockproof member. The shockproof member is attached to an inner sidewall bounding the receiving recess. The sliding member is supported on a bottom of the receiving recess. The sliding member includes a locking block, to be engaged in the device.
Description
- 1. Technical Field
- The present disclosure relates to a container data center with a supporting apparatus.
- 2. Description of Related Art
- When a container data center is subjected to shock and/or vibration situations, such as during transport or by being in an area where an earthquake occurs, electronic devices in the container may be damaged.
- Many aspects of the present embodiments can be better understood with reference to the following drawings. The components in the drawings are not necessarily drawn to scale, the emphasis instead being placed upon clearly illustrating the principles of the present embodiments. Moreover, in the drawings, all the views are schematic, and like reference numerals designate corresponding parts throughout the several views.
-
FIG. 1 is a partially exploded, isometric view of a container data center with four supporting apparatuses in accordance with an exemplary embodiment. -
FIG. 2 is an exploded, enlarged view of one of the supporting apparatus ofFIG. 1 . -
FIG. 3 is an assembled view ofFIG. 2 . - Referring to
FIG. 1 , an embodiment of a container data center includes acontainer 10 and four supportingapparatuses 20 supporting four corners of a bottom of thecontainer 10. - Four
rectangular locking slots 12 are defined in four corners of the bottom of thecontainer 10 respectively. - Referring to
FIG. 2 andFIG. 3 , each supportingapparatus 20 includes arectangular base 21, ashockproof member 23, and a slidingmember 25. Fourmounting holes 211 are defined in four corners of thebase 21 respectively, for four screws extending through to fix thebase 21 on a supporting platform, or a floor of a truck. Acircular receiving recess 213 is defined in a center of thebase 21. Thereceiving recess 213 has aplane bottom 2131 and aninner sidewall 2132. Theshockproof member 23 is annular and made of flexible material, such as rubber or plastic. Theshockproof member 23 includes aninner surface 231 and anouter surface 232. The slidingmember 25 includes adiscoid sliding portion 251 and arectangular locking block 252 extending from a top of thesliding portion 251. Size and shape of thelocking block 252 are configured for engaging in thelocking slot 12. - In assembly, the
shockproof member 23 is arranged in the receivingrecess 213, with theouter surface 232 contacting theinner sidewall 2132. The slidingmember 25 is supported on thebottom 2131 and surrounded by theshockproof member 23. Thelocking blocks 252 of the supportingapparatuses 20 are inserted in thecorresponding locking slots 12, thus thecontainer 10 is supported on the four supportingapparatuses 20. Any jolts or vibrations to the surface supporting thecontainer 10, thesliding portions 251 will slide on thebottoms 2131 respectively and impact theinner surfaces 231 of theshockproof members 23, which can absorb shock to thecontainer 10. - Even though numerous characteristics and advantages of the embodiments have been set forth in the foregoing description, together with details of the structure and function of the embodiments, the disclosure is illustrative only, and changes may be made in detail, especially in the matters of shape, size, and arrangement of parts within the principles of the present disclosure to the full extent indicated by the broad general meaning of the terms in which the appended claims are expressed.
