The present invention proposes a variable-thickness display device, which is installed in a unique frame, and which comprises adisplay panel 11, aback plate 12 and atelescopic connection member 13 arranged between thedisplay panel 11 and theback plate 12. Thedisplay panel 11 has aframe 111 and ascreen 112. Theback plate 12 is a rectangular-like body and has anopening 121 andholes 122 for accommodating connection ports. Theback plate 12 also has a plurality offastening elements 123, which are pivotally installed in theback plate 12 and can be rotated to different positions. - As shown in
FIG. 1 andFIG. 2 , the area of thedisplay panel 11 is larger than theback plate 12. In one embodiment, both thedisplay panel 11 and theback plate 12 have a rectangular shape. The length of thedisplay panel 11 is longer than that of theback plate 12, and the width of thedisplay panel 11 is also wider than theback plate 12. Thereby, thedisplay device 10 has a trapezoid shape, which has a larger dimension in the front and a smaller dimension in the back and able to prevent thedisplay device 10 from being installed in a wrong orientation. - The
telescopic connection member 13, which is arranged between thedisplay panel 11 and theback plate 12. Thetelescopic connection member 13 has afirst end member 131 connecting with thedisplay panel 11 and asecond end member 132 connecting with theback plate 12.
