Abstract

The invention relates to a container for the positionally oriented supply of tools or workpieces, having a carrying frame (1) and a base, which is formed from lattice bars (2, 2′), and having workpiece-specific or tool-specific positioning elements (3, 3′) for receiving the workpieces (4, 4′) or tools in a positionally oriented manner, wherein the positioning elements (3, 3′), for positional orientation, are fastened in a releasable manner on two criss-crossing lattice bars (2, 2′).

Description

  • The invention relates to a container for holding and positioning tools or workpieces as set forth generically in claim 1.
  • DE 38 19 624 C2 discloses a magazine container with variable configuration. Here notched recesses are provided inside the frame to hang workpiece-specific supports. An effective ratio between weight and torsional stiffness is achieved due to the fact that both the side-frame assembly and also the floor have parallel spaced edge strips that are attached by reinforcement ribs.
  • The object of this invention is to provide a universally usable container for workpieces or tools, where different parts can accurately positioned and that is furthermore suitable for use in liquid media, for example washing facilities or electroplating baths.
  • This object is achieved by an apparatus as set forth in claim 1. Advantageous embodiments are described in more detail in the dependent claims.
  • The container according to the invention has a wire basket comprising a side-frame assembly and a lattice floor. The lattice floor is surrounded by a wire frame that is set back relative to the side-frame assembly. This enables an inset to be created on the bottom side, with the result that the wire baskets can be stacked in form-fitting fashion. Supports can be clipped in place on the lattice floor to secure the workpieces. The fixation is effected on at least two mutually crossing lattice rods, with the result that the supports are fixed in place. Multiple clamping formations are provided on the supports for selective use. As a result, the spacing between the supports can be matched to the geometry of the workpiece. Positioning surfaces—also for selective use—are also installed on the top side of the supports and serve for positioning the workpieces. A setback enables the supports to be essentially inserted into each other like a plug and socket, and to be attached immediately adjacent each other on a lattice rod.
  • According to the invention, the same wire baskets can be reused whenever the workpiece or tool is changed. It is only the supports that need to be arranged differently or changed.
  • The following describes the invention in more detail with reference to an illustrated embodiment. Therein:
  • FIG. 1 shows part of the container including two workpieces;
  • FIG. 2 shows a support.
  • The container according to the invention is a wire basket with a side-frame assembly 1 and a floor lattice. The side-frame assembly is composed of a top wire frame 7 and a bottom wire frame 7′ that are interconnected by links 8. The floor lattice includes wire rods 2 and 2′ and is also surrounded by a wire frame 9. This is recessed relative to the side-frame assembly 1. As a result, an inset 10 is created on the bottom, thereby enabling the wire baskets to be fitted together in a stack. Workpieces 4 and 4′ are secured on supports 3 and 3′. These are secured in place on the floor lattice by mounting formations 6 and 6′. Fixation is effected at at least two crossing lattice rods 2 and 2′, with the result that the position of the supports 3 and 3′ is fixed in the wire basket. Multiple mounting formations 6 and 6′ are provided on the supports 3 and 3′ for selective use. As a result, the spacing of the supports 3 and 3′ can be matched to the geometry of the workpiece. Positioning surfaces 5 and 11 matched to the shape of the workpiece are carried on the top faces of the supports 3 and 3′ so as to accurately position the workpieces 4. These can also be used selectively and are matched to different workpieces 4 and 4′. The supports are formed with setbacks 12 and 12′. These function to fit the supports into each other far enough such that they can be attached to the same lattice rod 2′ when end walls 13 are flush with each other. The support 3 is FIG. 2 is provided with positioning surfaces 5 and 11 to secure the workpieces on the top face. For example, the workpiece 4 is secured in place by the inner positioning surfaces 11 (FIG. 3), while the workpiece 4′ with a slightly larger diameter is secured in place by the outer positioning surfaces 5.
