Abstract

The present invention discloses a multifunctional protection device for a flat video product, including an e-book. Through assembling a plastic back cover and a soft plastic front cover, the flat video product, especially a tablet personal computer, is enclosed, so as to fully protect the tablet personal computer. Through a rotational bracket on the plastic back cover and convex-concaved grooves on the soft plastic front cover, a user can adjust the tablet personal computer vertically or horizontally by various angles, depending on his or her preference.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • a) Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to a multifunctional protection device for a flat video product, and more particularly to a multifunction protection device which allows a flat video product, especially a tablet personal computer, to be put vertically or horizontally on a working platform at plural angles, thereby facilitating a user to read or touch a screen. In addition, through snap-fits and a hand-held notch provided on a plastic back cover, the flat video product can be easily put into or taken out of the multifunctional protection device.
  • b) Description of the Prior Art
  • As development of technologies, a flat video product, especially a tablet personal computer, should be small in size and light in weight that the user can carry conveniently. However, when the flat video product is getting smaller, user convenience in operation will be limited in someway.
  • Accordingly, a lot of protection sleeves, which are also provided with a support bracket function, of the tablet personal computers arise in markets to prevent the tablet personal computer from scratching and facilitate use. Nevertheless, all the protection sleeves sold on existing markets are only equipped with a single function and thus are unable to satisfy the user's all-purpose demands.
  • Accordingly, to solve the abovementioned issues, a multifunctional protection device for a flat video product is created by the present inventor.
    • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The primary object of the present invention is to provide a multifunctional protection device for a flat video product, including primarily a soft plastic front cover, a plastic back cover, a support bracket, a linking hinge and a rotational cover plate.
  • Another object of the present invention is to provide a multifunctional protection device for a flat video product, wherein the protection device can be put vertically or horizontally on a working platform depending on the user's preference and can be adjusted by plural angles, thereby facilitating the user to operate and use.
  • Still another object of the present invention is to provide a multifunctional protection device for a flat video product, wherein through snap-fits and a hand-held notch provided on the plastic back cover, the flat video product can be put into or taken out of the multifunctional protection device easily.
  • To enable a further understanding of the said objectives and the technological methods of the invention herein, the brief description of the drawings below is followed by the detailed description of the preferred embodiments.

    •  DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • The present invention can be applied directly to a tablet personal computer. The detailed description and technical contents of the present invention are disclosed below, using the tablet personal computer as an example.
  • Referring to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, it shows three-dimensional schematic views of the present invention. As shown in the drawings, a multifunctional protection device for a flat video product comprises a soft plastic front cover 10, a plastic back cover 20, a support bracket 30, a linking hinge 40 and a rotational cover plate 50.
  • Referring to FIG. 3 and FIG. 4 at a same time, the soft plastic front cover 10 is used to cover the tablet personal computer 60 and is provided with plural ribs 11, such that the tablet personal computer 60 can be put vertically or horizontally by plural angles and can be prevented from sliding off.
  • The plastic back cover 20 is used for putting the tablet personal computer 60 and is provided with a tablet personal computer containing space 21. Corners at two sides of the plastic back cover 20 are provided with snap-fits 22 and a middle part is a hand-held notch 23. A rear side of the back cover 20 is provided with containing slots 24, 25 for the support bracket 30 and the rotational cover plate 50 respectively, allowing the multifunctional protection device to be complete and pretty at an outer appearance when collecting. In addition, the containing slot 25 for the rotational cover plate 50 is provided with a groove ring 26 to sheath with a snap ring 52 on the rotational cover plate 50, thereby realizing rotation of the support bracket 30 and the soft plastic front cover 10.
  • The support bracket 30 is used to support the tablet personal computer 60 for use in a vertical or horizontal direction. Two sides of an upper end of the support bracket 30 are provided respectively with a pivot 31 which sheathes with a shaft hole 51 on the rotational cover plate 50 for a purpose of connecting with the rotational cover plate 50. On the other hand, a lower end of the support bracket 30 is provided with plural pivots 32 to sheath with shaft holes 41 on the linking hinge 40 for a purpose of connecting with the linking hinge 40.
  • The linking hinge 40 is used to connect with the soft plastic front cover 10 and the support bracket 30 and is provided with the plural shaft holes 41 to sheath with the pivots 32 on the support bracket 30. The linking hinge 40 is assembled with the soft plastic front cover 10 and next is connected with the support bracket 30.
  • The rotational cover plate 50 is provided with the shaft holes 51 to sheath with the pivots 31 on the support bracket 30 for a purpose of connecting with the support bracket 30 and the plastic back cover 20.
  • Referring to FIGS. 5A to 5C, it shows schematic views of the present invention which is put horizontally. As shown in the drawings, the tablet personal computer 60 can be adjusted horizontally by plural angles to facilitate operation and use by the user.
  • Referring to FIGS. 6A to 6C, it shows schematic views of the tablet personal computer 60 which is put vertically after rotating the rotational cover plate 50, according to the present invention. As shown in the drawings, the tablet personal computer 60 can be adjusted by plural angles to facilitate operation and use by the user.
  • Referring to FIGS. 7A to 7C, it shows schematic views of a flat video product which is easily put into or taken out of the multifunctional protection device through the snap-fits 22 and the hand-held notch 23 on the plastic back cover 20, according to the present invention.
  • Furthermore, referring to FIGS. 8 to 15, it shows another embodiment of the present invention. As shown in the drawings, the structural characteristics of the present invention are applied to a simplified bracket protection frame for the tablet personal computer 60, wherein through angle positioning grooves 33 on the support bracket 30 and angle positioning strips 53 on the rotational cover plate 50, the tablet personal computer 60 can be put upright horizontally and vertically or can be laid reclined.
  • It is of course to be understood that the embodiments described herein is merely illustrative of the principles of the invention and that a wide variety of modifications thereto may be effected by persons skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the following claims.

Claims (4)

1. A multifunctional protection device for a flat video product, comprising:
a soft plastic front cover which is used to cover the flat video product and to put the flat video product vertically or horizontally;
a plastic back cover which is provided at a rear side of and encloses sides of the flat video product;
a support bracket which is provided in a containing slot at a rear side of the plastic back cover;
a linking hinge which is assembled with the soft plastic front cover and is next connected with the support bracket; and
a rotational cover plate which is provided in a containing slot at the rear side of the plastic back cover for a purpose of connecting with the plastic back cover and the support bracket.
2. The multifunctional protection device for a flat video product, according to claim 1, wherein the flat video product is adjusted vertically or horizontally by plural angles, according respectively to a preference of every user.
3. The multifunctional protection device for a flat video product, according to claim 1, wherein through snap-fits and a hand-held notch on the plastic back cover, the flat video product is put into or taken out of the multifunctional protection device easily.
4. The multifunctional protection device for a flat video product, according to claim 1, the multifunctional protection device being applied directly to a tablet personal computer.
