Abstract
A ball marker magnetically attached and stored on the back of a golf putter head blade. The ball marker can be positioned to the sole of the putter head to mark the spot on the ground behind the golf ball without bending. The ball marker may be retrieved without bending.
Description
- The invention is a magnetic golf ball marker that can be stored, slipped out of the putter head cavity on to the sole of a golf putter head. The golfer can position the marker behind a golf ball to mark the spot where a golf ball lay and retrieve the ball marker after the golf ball is replaced to it's original position without bending.
- The invention relates to a magnetic golf ball marker that can be stored in a cavity of a golf putter head. Said golf ball marker can be easily and quickly slipped on to the sole of the putter head. With the ball marker on the sole of the putter head the golfer can easily and quickly mark the position where the golf ball lay and retrieve the ball marker. Without bending.
-
FIG. 3 is a bottom view of a cavity bottom golf putter head showing the position of a golf ball marker magnetically attached to the back of the golf putter head blade. The cavity bottom putter head is not part of the invention. -
FIG. 4 Is a bottom view of a cavity bottom marker onto the sole of the golf putter head. The putter head is not part of the invention -
FIG. 5 is a side view of the golf putter head after it is swiped away from the golf ball marker and golf ball. -
FIG. 3 ; 4 is the bottom view of a cavity bottom golf putter head. 5 is the back of the putter head blade. 1 is the golf ball marker magnetically attached to the back of the putter head blade. 8 is the part of the golf ball marker that sticks into the ground To hold the marker in place while positioning the ball marker to mark the spot where the golf ball lay. -
FIG. 4 ; 1 is the golf ball marker. 6 is the sole of the putter head. 1 is the golf ball marker in positioned on the sole of the putter head. -
FIG. 5 ; 9 is the ground. 4 is the side view of the putter head after it is swiped away from the golf ball marker, leaving the ball marker on the ground in place behind the golf ball so that thegolf ball 3 can be removed.
Claims (3)

Golf ball marker that is magnetically attached to a golf putter head, when the ball marker is placed on the sole of the putter head, the golfer can mark the spot where the golfers golf ball lay with the golf ball marker without bending, after the golf ball is replaced to its original position, the golfer may retrieve the golf ball marker without bending, using the putter head to pick up the golf ball marker.
2. For putter heads without a cavity bottom a ball marker may be magnetically attached and stored on the butt end of a putter grip, the golf ball marker is quickly and easily positioned on the end of the putter grip to mark the spot where the golf ball lay, to retrieve the ball marker after the golf ball is placed on its original spot, the ball marker can be retrieved using the butt end of the putter grip to pick up the golf ball marker without bending.
3. For metallic head putters, a magnetic golf ball marker can be placed on the sole of the putter head, the golf ball marker can be placed behind the golf ball to mark the position where the golf ball lay and the golf ball marker can be picked up with the putter head after the golf ball is replaced to its original position without bending.
