Abstract
In my research and testing I referenced other name brand coolers in shape and made a prototype for demonstrating to public and testing. Research was done to make sure the cooler was not already on the market thru the U.S. patent database. To my findings there is nothing to this affect.
Description
- Flipper cooler is similar to other coolers in construction as it is made of plastic, insulation, hinges, and clamps.
- Cooler functions like any other without electricity or complicated parts or slots, or extra attachments. Cooler has two identical lids in size and shape with clamp locks and o-ring seal. The handle for carrying is sturdy and comfortable to hold and helps when you flip the cooler to access items on the bottom. The main purpose of this cooler is to eliminate the digging and cold hands when trying to find a soda versus a beer or water. It is meant to aid the user by doing away with the act of shoving items down into ice to get them cool. It is as simple as placing ‘warm’ items on top of ice, closing lid and flipping cooler to be covered in ice and start cooling.
