Abstract
The herein invention discloses improvements to the conventional beer, soda or vegetable juice can such as tomato as well as medical or automotive such as oil cans containing fluid. The improvements consisting of one or a plurality of pull tabs on the top and the bottom of the can allowing the liquid to empty out of the cans in a matter of seconds. Prior art only shows one pull tab on the top taking the cans too long to empty for consumers that desire their beverage to flow quicker and to avoid spraying their beverage potentially getting in to the eyes of consumers and destroying property such as clothes and furniture as it is widely known consumers puncture holes toward the bottom of the can to release the liquid quicker endangering themselves and others by spraying beverage and by the sharp objects used to make the holes in the cans. My new invention will improve safety for these types of consumers furthermore if the top tab breaks the bottom pull tab will allow the can to be opened. Additionally, a tomatoe juice can having two pull tabs on the top allows the thick juice to flow more rapidly. This also relieves having a sharp can opener to accomplish this task.
Description
- Cross referenced to related application. This application claims benefit of U.S. Provisional patent Application No. 61/270,015 filed Jul. 2, 2009 which is incorporated by reference herein.
- With the above mentioned general objective in view, and together with other related and ancillary objectives, which will become more apparent as this description proceeds: The herein “Beer can with top and bottom pull tabs” of the present invention generally comprises: a can being a beer, soda, vegetable juice, power drink, medical or automotive can filled with fluid contains one or more pull tabs on the top and the bottom simultaneously in order to empty the said cans in a matter of seconds when time is of the essence, providing convenience to the consumer or professional.
- The present conventional cans provide a singular tab allowing the fluid to flow from the can the tabs have been improved to allow ease of opening but nothing regarding the plurality of tabs or pull tabs on the top and bottom allowing for increasing the speed of which the fluid empties from the said cans in a matter of seconds.
- FIG. IA Illustrates a conventional tab on the top of a can
- FIG. IIC Illustrates a side view of a conventional can
- FIG. IIIB Illustrates the bottom view of a conventional pull tab with the tab positioned at the air pocket created inside of the can when the can is tipped allowing for the tab when opened to expose the air pocket releasing the liquid much quicker then a singular tab on the top of said can.
- A conventional can with a singular pull tab allows for the contained liquid to flow at a reasonable speed. A second tab placed on the bottom of the can allows the can to be tipped by the consumer creating an air pocket .When the second tab is the opened by the consumer the liquid will empty from the can in a matter of seconds providing marathon runners a way of drinking while on the run and other consumers whom desire a faster flow of their favorite beverage to empty their said cans. Cooks will also be allowed to pour a can of tomato juice with ease by a plurality of tabs on oppisite sides of the said can.
- From the foregoing, the construction of the new process of placing pull tabs on the top and bottom of beer cans and other similar cans containing beverage or fluids and the like will be readily understood and further explanation is believed to be unnecessary, however, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the invention to the exact process shown and described and all suitable modifications and equivalents will be resorted to, falling within the scopes of the appended claims.
Claims (2)
1. A conventional can has one pull tab on the top of the said can allowing liquid to flow from the opening once the tab is opened the improvement comprising: A can with a pull tab on the top and a pull tab on the bottom or alternatively near the bottom of the can allowing the bottom pull tab opened at the air pocket inside of the can while being tipped allowing for the emptying of the contents of the can in a matter of seconds.
2. A plurality of tabs on the top or the bottom of a can or equivalent.
