Abstract

A hair hoop having a hair hoop body for immobilizing the hair of a person, a cord member connected between the two distal ends of the hair hoop body, and a hair retainer located on the middle of the cord member for holding the tail of the hair in a curled condition.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to a hair hoop for immobilizing the hair and more particularly, to such a hair hoop that has a hair retainer for holding the tail of the hair in a curled condition.
  • 2. Description of the Related Art
  • Many female persons would keep their hair long. A long hairstyle shows a special sense of beauty. However, long hair may gather heat around the neck, causing discomfort. In this case, one may braid the hair, or curl the tail of the hair and use a hairpin or like means to hold the hair in a curled condition. It is not easy to arrange a long hair in this way. You may need another people's help when arranging the long hair into a short form. Further, it takes much time to arrange the long hair into a short form.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention has been accomplished under the circumstances in view. It is one object of the present invention to provide a hair hoop, which is practical for use to immobilize the hair and to hold the tail of the hair in a curled condition.
  • To achieve this and other objects of the present invention, a hair hoop comprises a hair hoop body for immobilizing the hair of a person, a cord member connected between the two distal ends of the hair hoop body, and a hair retainer located on the middle of the cord member for holding the tail of the hair in a curled condition.
  • To achieve this and other objects of the present invention, a hair hoop comprises a hair hoop body for immobilizing the hair of a person, cord members connected between the two distal ends of the hair hoop body, and two cord binders fastened to the cord members and spaced from each other at a distance to have a middle part of the joined cord members form a hair retainer for holding the tail of the hair in a curled condition.

  • FIG. 1 is an elevational view of a hair hoop in accordance with a first embodiment of the present invention.
  • FIG. 2 illustrates an application example of the hair hoop in accordance with the first embodiment of the present invention (I).

  • FIG. 8 is an elevational view of a hair hoop in accordance with a fourth embodiment of the present invention.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • Referring to FIG. 1, a hair hoop in accordance with a first embodiment of the present invention is shown comprising a hair hoop body 1, a cord member 12 connected between the two distal ends 11 of the hair hoop body 1, and a hair retainer 13 formed of an elastic loop and located on a middle part of the cord member 12.
  • Referring to FIGS. 2 and 3 and FIG. 4 again, during the use of the hair hoop, sleeve the hair hoop onto the user's neck 42, and then use the hair retainer 13 to secure the tail 41 of the hair 4, and then curl the tail 41 inwardly upwards, and then pull the hair hoop body 1 upwards and secure the hair hoop body 1 to the top side of the user's head, thereby immobilizing the arranged hair in place.
  • Further, the hair hoop body 1 can be directly molded from a springy hard plastic material or a flexible plastic material. Further, the hair hoop body 1 may be made of cloth or elastic fabrics, as shown in FIG. 5.
  • FIG. 6 is an elevational view of a hair hoop in accordance with a second embodiment of the present invention. According to this second embodiment, the hair hoop comprises a hair hoop body 1, a plurality of, for example, two elastic cord members 12 connected between the two distal ends 11 of the hair hoop body 1, and two cord binders 121 fastened to the two cord members 12 and spaced from each other at a distance to have a middle part of the joined two cord members 12 form a hair retainer 122 for securing the tail of the hair of a person. Alternatively, the two cord binders 121 can be eliminated and, the cord members 12 can be directly tied up to form two knots and a hair retaining portion between the two knots.
  • FIG. 7 is an elevational view of a hair hoop in accordance with a third embodiment of the present invention. According to this third embodiment, the hair hoop is made of cloth, having a hair hoop body 2 in the form of a big loop for immobilizing a person's hair, and a hair retainer 21 in the form of a small loop linked to the hair hoop body 2 for securing the tail of the hair in a curled condition.
  • FIG. 8 is an elevational view of a hair hoop in accordance with a fourth embodiment of the present invention. According to this fourth embodiment, the hair hoop comprises a hair hoop body 3 made of a piece of narrow elongated cloth that can be an elastic cloth, and a hair retainer 31 formed of an elastic loop and tied to a middle part of the hair hoop body 3.
  • A prototype of hair hoop has been constructed with the features of FIGS. 1˜8. The hair hoop functions smoothly to provide all of the features disclosed earlier.
  • Although particular embodiments of the invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Accordingly, the invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.

Claims (14)

1. A hair hoop, comprising:
a hair hoop body having two distal ends;
a cord member connected between the two distal ends of said hair hoop body; and
a hair retainer located on a middle part of said cord member.
2. The hair hoop as claimed in claim 1, wherein said hair retainer is formed of an elastic loop.
3. The hair hoop as claimed in claim 1, wherein said hair hoop body is made of a springy hard plastic material.
4. The hair hoop as claimed in claim 1, wherein said hair hoop body is made of a flexible plastic material.
5. The hair hoop as claimed in claim 1, wherein said hair hoop body is made of cloth.
6. The hair hoop as claimed in claim 5, wherein said cloth is elastic cloth.
7. A hair hoop, comprising:
a hair hoop body having two distal ends;
a plurality of cord members connected between the two distal ends of said hair hoop body; and
two cord binders fastened to said cord members and spaced from each other at a distance to have a middle part of the joined cord members form a hair retainer.
8. The hair hoop as claimed in claim 7, wherein said cord members are made of an elastic material.
9. A hair hoop, comprising:
a hair hoop body having two distal ends; and
a plurality of cord members connected between the two distal ends of said hair hoop body, said cord members being tied up to form two knots and a hair retaining portion between the two knots.
10. A hair hoop, comprising:
a hair hoop body in the form of a big loop for immobilizing a person's hair; and
a hair retainer in the form of a small loop linked to said hair hoop body for securing the tail of the hair in a curled condition.
11. The hair hoop as claimed in claim 10, where said hair hoop body and said hair retainer are formed of a piece of narrow elongated cloth.
12. The hair hoop as claimed in claim 10, where said narrow elongated cloth is an elastic cloth.
13. A hair hoop, comprising:
a hair hoop body formed of a piece of cloth for immobilizing the a person; and
a hair retainer fastened to a middle part of said hair hoop body for securing the tail of the hair of the person in a curled condition.
14. The hair hoop as claimed in claim 13, wherein said hair retainer is made of an elastic material in the form of a loop.
