Abstract

We suggest a blanket or shawl-type covering element made of textiles or plastic for persons, preferably a warmth blanket 1 with two arm entries 12 located at a distance from one another, on which glove-type closures 13 are provided at the ends.

Description

  • The invention consists in a shawl-like warmth blanket made of textiles for persons, with an arm entry that is equipped with a glove-like closure at the end.
  • Already known is the customary warmth blanket made of fleece material, with which a person can also wrap himself up, in which the blanket is equipped with a mitten-like closure in an upper, side area, into which a person can put one hand. The mitten-like closure is fastened to the blanket with a short arm entry segment in the area of a reach-through opening. Such warmth blankets allow the user insufficient possibilities for use of hands, since the second hand can only be used, if it is brought out of the cover in the wrapped-up position, at which time mitten-like closure, attached at a relatively short distance, does not permit fine motor hand movements.
  • The challenge of the invention consists in proposing a shawl-like warmth blanket made of textiles for persons, with which the user can be kept warm and can use his hands with the protective covering element.
  • The challenge of the invention is resolved with the warmth blanket made of textiles, named at the beginning, which is characterized by two arm entries of sufficient length, located at a distance from one another, with glove-like closures. Such a warmth blanket can therefore be designed as a blanket, a shawl or a poncho. In particular, such a warmth blanket made of suitable textiles for use as a children's warmth blanket can be used in the baby carriage or similar.
  • In order to make possible fine motor movements of the hands in the hand covering-like closures, it is suggested that the closures be designed with one to five finger entries, preferably in the manner of gloves. Moreover, the glove-like closures can consist of an easy gripping, thin material. For example, with such closures paging in books and newspapers will be possible.
  • In addition the glove-like closures at least inside on the grip side can be equipped with a slip-preventing surface structure, for example with slubbing in regular distribution.
  • In order to allow a free manipulation of hands also in the enfolded position of such a warmth blanket, it has been suggested on the one hand, to attach the closures detachably on the arm entries and, on the other hand it has been suggested to provide open reach-through spaces either on the arm entries or in the area of the closures. By preference the arm entries are designed to be wider than the closures, so that the openings can be designed in each case in the area of the arm entry segment projecting across from the closure.
  • In order to be able to use such a warmth blanket both in the enfolded position from the front and also from behind with glove-like closures with at least a thumb formation, it is suggested, according to requirement 14, to locate the arm entry in both cases in such a way on the warmth blanket that the plane of the closure is perpendicular to the plane of the warmth blanket. In this fashion, the thumb can be put into the corresponding finger entry in both enfolding possibilities.
  • As to the warmth blanket, the invention is explained more closely in the following. It shows:
  • FIG. 1: a perspective view of the extended warmth blanket,
  • FIG. 2: a perspective view of the warmth blanket in FIG. 1 in the enfolded position,
  • FIG. 3: the perspective view of an arm entry with a glove-like closure and a reach-through possibility on the side,
  • FIG. 4: a perspective view of another arm entry with a reach-through opening in the arm entry segment.
  • And
  • FIG. 5: a perspective view of a relatively wide arm entry with a mitten-like closure and an reach-through opening located on the side near this segment.
  • Next, we will refer to FIGS. 1 and 2. With the number 1, we refer to a warmth blanket that is made preferable of fleece material. In its upper area 11, two arm entries 12 are provided at corresponding distances from one another. On these, the glove-like closures 13 are recognizable.
  • These glove-like closures 13 show, at least on the interior side (grip side) a slip-preventing surface structure, for example, corresponding slip-preventing slubbing 14 in equal distribution. These glove-like closures 13 consist preferable of a considerably thinner material than that of the arm entry 12, so that fine motor manipulation is possible, for instance, paging in a book. Such a warmth blanket can be used both from the front and also from the back by the user for body coverage. Therefore it is useful, on the side edge areas, especially however, in the lower area 16 of the cover 1 to provide Velcro fasteners 15 that can secure the enfolded position of the cover on the user.
  • And so that also in both use positions the insertion of the thumb in the corresponding closure is possible, we suggest locating the arm entry in such a way on the element, and so, for example, on the cover, that on each side the plane of the closure is approximately perpendicular to the plane of the element.
  • With the arm entry formation 2 according to FIG. 3, the arm entry segment 21 is kept significantly wider than the glove-like closure 23. In the area 22, projecting on the sides a reach-through opening 24 is provided, through which the hand when necessary can be moved outside. In order to hold the loose, glove-like closures (23) that hang down, an elastic strap 25 next to the reach-through opening 24 is provided, that can be pulled over the wrist with the enfolding of the closure. The finger entries of closure 23 carry the 24.
  • In an arm formation according to FIG. 4, the breadth and the width of the arm entry segment of arm entry 3 corresponds approximately to the breadth of the glove-like closure 33 with the finger entries 34. On the side, on the arm entry segment 31 a free reach-through opening is provided.
  • In the formation of the arm entry 4 according to FIG. 5, the arm entry segment 41 is designed on both sides of the mitten-like closure 43 with the thumb entry 431 projecting. In the projecting area 42, the free reach-through opening 44 is again provided. Near this, strap 45, already described, can be provided.
  • Every glove-like design type can be executed, and these glove-like closures can be planned to be removable or only fastened in part of the area. Also imaginable is the glove-like closure design of the type of a collapsible glove, in which the actual glove displays open finger entries, which can be covered by a covering that is fastened on one side.
