Abstract
An ornament assembly includes a support plate, a plurality of support posts mounted on the support plate, a plurality of first decorative strips mounted on the support posts, a plurality of second decorative strips mounted on the support posts, a plurality of fastening members mounted on the support posts and abutting the first decorative strips and the second decorative strips to fasten the first decorative strips and the second decorative strips on the support posts, and a connecting plate mounted on the support posts and abutting the first decorative strips and the second decorative strips to connect the first decorative strips and the second decorative strips. Thus, the ornament assembly can be assembled and disassembled easily, quickly and conveniently.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to an ornament and, more particularly, to an ornament assembly having a butterfly profile to provide an outstanding decorative effect.
- 2. Description of the Related Art
- A conventional ornament assembly 3 in accordance with the prior art shown in
FIG. 7 comprises a plurality of firstdecorative strips 31, a plurality of seconddecorative strips 32 mounted on the firstdecorative strips 31, and a connectingplate 33 mounted on the firstdecorative strips 31 and the seconddecorative strips 32 to combine the firstdecorative strips 31 and the seconddecorative strips 32 together by a plurality ofstaples 34. However, when thestaples 34 are not located at the exact position, the user has to remove thestaples 34 from theconnecting plate 33, so that the firstdecorative strips 31 and the seconddecorative strips 32 are easily torn or broken by thestaples 34. In addition, thestaples 34 protrude from the firstdecorative strips 31 and the seconddecorative strips 32, thereby decreasing the aesthetic quality of the ornament assembly 3. - In accordance with the present invention, there is provided an ornament assembly, comprising a support plate, a plurality of support posts mounted on the support plate, a plurality of first decorative strips mounted on the support posts, a plurality of second decorative strips mounted on the support posts, and a plurality of fastening members mounted on the support posts and abutting the first decorative strips and the second decorative strips to fasten the first decorative strips and the second decorative strips on the support posts. The ornament assembly further comprises a connecting plate mounted on the support posts and abutting the first decorative strips and the second decorative strips to connect the first decorative strips and the second decorative strips.
- The primary objective of the present invention is to provide an ornament assembly that can be assembled and disassembled easily, quickly and conveniently, thereby facilitating a user assembling and disassembling the ornament assembly.
- Another objective of the present invention is to provide an ornament assembly that has an outstanding outer appearance, thereby enhancing the aesthetic quality of the ornament assembly.
- Further benefits and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after a careful reading of the detailed description with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.

FIG. 7 is a perspective view of a conventional ornament assembly in accordance with the prior art. - Referring to the drawings and initially to
FIGS. 1-3 , anornament assembly 1 in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises asupport plate 2, a plurality ofsupport posts 21 mounted on thesupport plate 2, a plurality of firstdecorative strips 11 mounted on thesupport posts 21, a plurality of seconddecorative strips 12 mounted on thesupport posts 21, a plurality of fasteningmembers 26 mounted on thesupport posts 21 and abutting the firstdecorative strips 11 and the seconddecorative strips 12 to fasten the firstdecorative strips 11 and the seconddecorative strips 12 on thesupport posts 21, and a connectingplate 13 mounted on thesupport posts 21 and abutting the firstdecorative strips 11 and the seconddecorative strips 12 to connect the firstdecorative strips 11 and the seconddecorative strips 12. - Referring to
FIGS. 1-6 , thesupport plate 2 has afirst face 20 and asecond face 22. Each of thesupport posts 21 protrudes outwardly from thesupport plate 2. Each of thesupport posts 21 has two opposite ends protruding outwardly from thefirst face 20 and thesecond face 22 of thesupport plate 2 respectively. - Each of the first
decorative strips 11 has anend portion 110 abutting thefirst face 20 of thesupport plate 2. Theend portion 110 of each of the firstdecorative strips 11 is mounted on thesupport posts 21 and is provided with a plurality offixing holes 111 secured on thesupport posts 21 respectively. - Each of the second
decorative strips 12 has afirst end portion 123 abutting the connectingplate 13 and thefirst face 20 of thesupport plate 2 and asecond end portion 124 abutting thesecond face 22 of thesupport plate 2. Thefirst end portion 123 of each of the seconddecorative strips 12 is mounted on thesupport posts 21 and is provided with a plurality ofpositioning holes 121 secured on thesupport posts 21 respectively. Thefirst end portion 123 of each of the seconddecorative strips 12 is limited on thesupport posts 21 by therespective fastening members 26. Thesecond end portion 124 of each of the seconddecorative strips 12 is mounted on thesupport posts 21 and is provided with a plurality ofpositioning bores 122 secured on thesupport posts 21 respectively. Thesecond end portion 124 of each of the seconddecorative strips 12 is limited on thesupport posts 21 by therespective fastening members 26. - The connecting
plate 13 has afirst end portion 133 located between theend portion 110 of each of the firstdecorative strips 11 and thefirst end portion 123 of each of the seconddecorative strips 12 and asecond end portion 134 located between thesecond end portion 124 of each of the seconddecorative strips 12 and therespective fastening members 26. Thefirst end portion 133 of the connectingplate 13 is mounted on thesupport posts 21 and is provided with a plurality oflocking holes 132 secured on thesupport posts 21 respectively. Thesecond end portion 134 of the connectingplate 13 is mounted on thesupport posts 21 and is provided with a plurality oflocking bores 131 secured on thesupport posts 21 respectively. Thesecond end portion 134 of the connectingplate 13 abuts thesecond face 22 of thesupport plate 2 and is limited on thesupport posts 21 by therespective fastening members 26. The connectingplate 13 encircles theend portion 110 of each of the firstdecorative strips 11, thefirst end portion 123 of each of the seconddecorative strips 12, thesecond face 22 of thesupport plate 2 and thesecond end portion 124 of each of the seconddecorative strips 12. - In assembly, referring to
FIGS. 4-6 with reference toFIGS. 1-3 , theend portion 110 of each of the firstdecorative strips 11 is mounted on thesupport posts 21 and abuts thefirst face 20 of thesupport plate 2 as shown inFIG. 4 . Then, thefirst end portion 133 of the connectingplate 13 is mounted on thesupport posts 21 and abuts theend portion 110 of each of the firstdecorative strips 11 as shown inFIG. 4 . Then, thefirst end portion 123 of each of the seconddecorative strips 12 is mounted on thesupport posts 21 and abuts thefirst end portion 133 of the connectingplate 13 as shown inFIG. 5 . Then, thefastening members 26 are mounted on thesupport posts 21 and abut thefirst end portion 123 of each of the seconddecorative strips 12 as shown inFIG. 5 . Then, thesupport plate 2 is turned from the position as shown inFIG. 5 to the position as shown inFIG. 6 . Then, thesecond end portion 124 of each of the seconddecorative strips 12 is mounted on thesupport posts 21 and abuts thesecond face 22 of thesupport plate 2 as shown inFIG. 6 . Then, thefastening members 26 are mounted on thesupport posts 21 and abut thesecond end portion 124 of each of the seconddecorative strips 12 as shown inFIG. 6 . Then, thesecond end portion 134 of the connectingplate 13 is mounted on thesupport posts 21 and abuts thesecond end portion 124 of each of the seconddecorative strips 12 as shown inFIG. 1 . Finally, thefastening members 26 are mounted on thesupport posts 21 and abut thesecond end portion 134 of the connectingplate 13 as shown inFIG. 1 to finish theornament assembly 1. - Accordingly, the
ornament assembly 1 can be assembled and disassembled easily and quickly, thereby facilitating a user assembling and disassembling theornament assembly 1. In addition, theornament assembly 1 has an outstanding outer appearance, thereby enhancing the aesthetic quality of theornament assembly 1. - Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment(s) as mentioned above, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. It is, therefore, contemplated that the appended claim or claims will cover such modifications and variations that fall within the true scope of the invention.
Claims (20)
1. An ornament assembly, comprising:
a support plate;
a plurality of support posts mounted on the support plate;
a plurality of first decorative strips mounted on the support posts;
a plurality of second decorative strips mounted on the support posts;
a plurality of fastening members mounted on the support posts and abutting the first decorative strips and the second decorative strips to fasten the first decorative strips and the second decorative strips on the support posts.
2. The ornament assembly of claim 1 , further comprising:
a connecting plate mounted on the support posts and abutting the first decorative strips and the second decorative strips to connect the first decorative strips and the second decorative strips.
3. The ornament assembly of claim 2 , wherein
the support plate has a first face and a second face;
each of the support posts protrudes outwardly from the support plate;
each of the support posts has two opposite ends protruding outwardly from the first face and the second face of the support plate respectively.
4. The ornament assembly of claim 3 , wherein each of the first decorative strips has an end portion abutting the first face of the support plate.
5. The ornament assembly of claim 4 , wherein the end portion of each of the first decorative strips is mounted on the support posts.
6. The ornament assembly of claim 5 , wherein the end portion of each of the first decorative strips is provided with a plurality of fixing holes secured on the support posts respectively.
7. The ornament assembly of claim 4 , wherein each of the second decorative strips has a first end portion abutting the connecting plate and the first face of the support plate and a second end portion abutting the second face of the support plate.
8. The ornament assembly of claim 7 , wherein the first end portion of each of the second decorative strips is mounted on the support posts.
9. The ornament assembly of claim 8 , wherein the first end portion of each of the second decorative strips is provided with a plurality of positioning holes secured on the support posts respectively.
10. The ornament assembly of claim 8 , wherein the first end portion of each of the second decorative strips is limited on the support posts by the respective fastening members.
11. The ornament assembly of claim 7 , wherein the second end portion of each of the second decorative strips is mounted on the support posts.
12. The ornament assembly of claim 11 , wherein the second end portion of each of the second decorative strips is provided with a plurality of positioning bores secured on the support posts respectively.
13. The ornament assembly of claim 11 , wherein the second end portion of each of the second decorative strips is limited on the support posts by the respective fastening members.
14. The ornament assembly of claim 7 , wherein the connecting plate has a first end portion located between the end portion of each of the first decorative strips and the first end portion of each of the second decorative strips and a second end portion located between the second end portion of each of the second decorative strips and the respective fastening members.
15. The ornament assembly of claim 14 , wherein the first end portion of the connecting plate is mounted on the support posts.
16. The ornament assembly of claim 15 , wherein the first end portion of the connecting plate is provided with a plurality of locking holes secured on the support posts respectively.
17. The ornament assembly of claim 14 , wherein the second end portion of the connecting plate is mounted on the support posts.
18. The ornament assembly of claim 17 , wherein the second end portion of the connecting plate is provided with a plurality of locking bores secured on the support posts respectively.
19. The ornament assembly of claim 14 , wherein the second end portion of the connecting plate abuts the second face of the support plate and is limited on the support posts by the respective fastening members.
20. The ornament assembly of claim 14 , wherein the connecting plate encircles the end portion of each of the first decorative strips, the first end portion of each of the second decorative strips, the second face of the support plate and the second end portion of each of the second decorative strips.
