Abstract

An ornament assembly includes a support plate, a plurality of support posts mounted on the support plate, a plurality of first decorative strips mounted on the support posts, a plurality of second decorative strips mounted on the support posts, a plurality of fastening members mounted on the support posts and abutting the first decorative strips and the second decorative strips to fasten the first decorative strips and the second decorative strips on the support posts, and a connecting plate mounted on the support posts and abutting the first decorative strips and the second decorative strips to connect the first decorative strips and the second decorative strips. Thus, the ornament assembly can be assembled and disassembled easily, quickly and conveniently.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to an ornament and, more particularly, to an ornament assembly having a butterfly profile to provide an outstanding decorative effect.
  • 2. Description of the Related Art
  • A conventional ornament assembly 3 in accordance with the prior art shown in FIG. 7 comprises a plurality of first decorative strips 31, a plurality of second decorative strips 32 mounted on the first decorative strips 31, and a connecting plate 33 mounted on the first decorative strips 31 and the second decorative strips 32 to combine the first decorative strips 31 and the second decorative strips 32 together by a plurality of staples 34. However, when the staples 34 are not located at the exact position, the user has to remove the staples 34 from the connecting plate 33, so that the first decorative strips 31 and the second decorative strips 32 are easily torn or broken by the staples 34. In addition, the staples 34 protrude from the first decorative strips 31 and the second decorative strips 32, thereby decreasing the aesthetic quality of the ornament assembly 3.
  • BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • In accordance with the present invention, there is provided an ornament assembly, comprising a support plate, a plurality of support posts mounted on the support plate, a plurality of first decorative strips mounted on the support posts, a plurality of second decorative strips mounted on the support posts, and a plurality of fastening members mounted on the support posts and abutting the first decorative strips and the second decorative strips to fasten the first decorative strips and the second decorative strips on the support posts. The ornament assembly further comprises a connecting plate mounted on the support posts and abutting the first decorative strips and the second decorative strips to connect the first decorative strips and the second decorative strips.
  • The primary objective of the present invention is to provide an ornament assembly that can be assembled and disassembled easily, quickly and conveniently, thereby facilitating a user assembling and disassembling the ornament assembly.
  • Another objective of the present invention is to provide an ornament assembly that has an outstanding outer appearance, thereby enhancing the aesthetic quality of the ornament assembly.
  • Further benefits and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after a careful reading of the detailed description with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.

  • FIG. 1 is a perspective front view of an ornament assembly in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • Referring to the drawings and initially to FIGS. 1-3, an ornament assembly 1 in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a support plate 2, a plurality of support posts 21 mounted on the support plate 2, a plurality of first decorative strips 11 mounted on the support posts 21, a plurality of second decorative strips 12 mounted on the support posts 21, a plurality of fastening members 26 mounted on the support posts 21 and abutting the first decorative strips 11 and the second decorative strips 12 to fasten the first decorative strips 11 and the second decorative strips 12 on the support posts 21, and a connecting plate 13 mounted on the support posts 21 and abutting the first decorative strips 11 and the second decorative strips 12 to connect the first decorative strips 11 and the second decorative strips 12.
  • Referring to FIGS. 1-6, the support plate 2 has a first face 20 and a second face 22. Each of the support posts 21 protrudes outwardly from the support plate 2. Each of the support posts 21 has two opposite ends protruding outwardly from the first face 20 and the second face 22 of the support plate 2 respectively.
  • Each of the first decorative strips 11 has an end portion 110 abutting the first face 20 of the support plate 2. The end portion 110 of each of the first decorative strips 11 is mounted on the support posts 21 and is provided with a plurality of fixing holes 111 secured on the support posts 21 respectively.
  • Each of the second decorative strips 12 has a first end portion 123 abutting the connecting plate 13 and the first face 20 of the support plate 2 and a second end portion 124 abutting the second face 22 of the support plate 2. The first end portion 123 of each of the second decorative strips 12 is mounted on the support posts 21 and is provided with a plurality of positioning holes 121 secured on the support posts 21 respectively. The first end portion 123 of each of the second decorative strips 12 is limited on the support posts 21 by the respective fastening members 26. The second end portion 124 of each of the second decorative strips 12 is mounted on the support posts 21 and is provided with a plurality of positioning bores 122 secured on the support posts 21 respectively. The second end portion 124 of each of the second decorative strips 12 is limited on the support posts 21 by the respective fastening members 26.
  • The connecting plate 13 has a first end portion 133 located between the end portion 110 of each of the first decorative strips 11 and the first end portion 123 of each of the second decorative strips 12 and a second end portion 134 located between the second end portion 124 of each of the second decorative strips 12 and the respective fastening members 26. The first end portion 133 of the connecting plate 13 is mounted on the support posts 21 and is provided with a plurality of locking holes 132 secured on the support posts 21 respectively. The second end portion 134 of the connecting plate 13 is mounted on the support posts 21 and is provided with a plurality of locking bores 131 secured on the support posts 21 respectively. The second end portion 134 of the connecting plate 13 abuts the second face 22 of the support plate 2 and is limited on the support posts 21 by the respective fastening members 26. The connecting plate 13 encircles the end portion 110 of each of the first decorative strips 11, the first end portion 123 of each of the second decorative strips 12, the second face 22 of the support plate 2 and the second end portion 124 of each of the second decorative strips 12.
  • In assembly, referring to FIGS. 4-6 with reference to FIGS. 1-3, the end portion 110 of each of the first decorative strips 11 is mounted on the support posts 21 and abuts the first face 20 of the support plate 2 as shown in FIG. 4. Then, the first end portion 133 of the connecting plate 13 is mounted on the support posts 21 and abuts the end portion 110 of each of the first decorative strips 11 as shown in FIG. 4. Then, the first end portion 123 of each of the second decorative strips 12 is mounted on the support posts 21 and abuts the first end portion 133 of the connecting plate 13 as shown in FIG. 5. Then, the fastening members 26 are mounted on the support posts 21 and abut the first end portion 123 of each of the second decorative strips 12 as shown in FIG. 5. Then, the support plate 2 is turned from the position as shown in FIG. 5 to the position as shown in FIG. 6. Then, the second end portion 124 of each of the second decorative strips 12 is mounted on the support posts 21 and abuts the second face 22 of the support plate 2 as shown in FIG. 6. Then, the fastening members 26 are mounted on the support posts 21 and abut the second end portion 124 of each of the second decorative strips 12 as shown in FIG. 6. Then, the second end portion 134 of the connecting plate 13 is mounted on the support posts 21 and abuts the second end portion 124 of each of the second decorative strips 12 as shown in FIG. 1. Finally, the fastening members 26 are mounted on the support posts 21 and abut the second end portion 134 of the connecting plate 13 as shown in FIG. 1 to finish the ornament assembly 1.
  • Accordingly, the ornament assembly 1 can be assembled and disassembled easily and quickly, thereby facilitating a user assembling and disassembling the ornament assembly 1. In addition, the ornament assembly 1 has an outstanding outer appearance, thereby enhancing the aesthetic quality of the ornament assembly 1.
  • Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment(s) as mentioned above, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. It is, therefore, contemplated that the appended claim or claims will cover such modifications and variations that fall within the true scope of the invention.

Claims (20)

1. An ornament assembly, comprising:
a support plate;
a plurality of support posts mounted on the support plate;
a plurality of first decorative strips mounted on the support posts;
a plurality of second decorative strips mounted on the support posts;
a plurality of fastening members mounted on the support posts and abutting the first decorative strips and the second decorative strips to fasten the first decorative strips and the second decorative strips on the support posts.
2. The ornament assembly of claim 1, further comprising:
a connecting plate mounted on the support posts and abutting the first decorative strips and the second decorative strips to connect the first decorative strips and the second decorative strips.
3. The ornament assembly of claim 2, wherein
the support plate has a first face and a second face;
each of the support posts protrudes outwardly from the support plate;
each of the support posts has two opposite ends protruding outwardly from the first face and the second face of the support plate respectively.
4. The ornament assembly of claim 3, wherein each of the first decorative strips has an end portion abutting the first face of the support plate.
5. The ornament assembly of claim 4, wherein the end portion of each of the first decorative strips is mounted on the support posts.
6. The ornament assembly of claim 5, wherein the end portion of each of the first decorative strips is provided with a plurality of fixing holes secured on the support posts respectively.
7. The ornament assembly of claim 4, wherein each of the second decorative strips has a first end portion abutting the connecting plate and the first face of the support plate and a second end portion abutting the second face of the support plate.
8. The ornament assembly of claim 7, wherein the first end portion of each of the second decorative strips is mounted on the support posts.
9. The ornament assembly of claim 8, wherein the first end portion of each of the second decorative strips is provided with a plurality of positioning holes secured on the support posts respectively.
10. The ornament assembly of claim 8, wherein the first end portion of each of the second decorative strips is limited on the support posts by the respective fastening members.
11. The ornament assembly of claim 7, wherein the second end portion of each of the second decorative strips is mounted on the support posts.
12. The ornament assembly of claim 11, wherein the second end portion of each of the second decorative strips is provided with a plurality of positioning bores secured on the support posts respectively.
13. The ornament assembly of claim 11, wherein the second end portion of each of the second decorative strips is limited on the support posts by the respective fastening members.
14. The ornament assembly of claim 7, wherein the connecting plate has a first end portion located between the end portion of each of the first decorative strips and the first end portion of each of the second decorative strips and a second end portion located between the second end portion of each of the second decorative strips and the respective fastening members.
15. The ornament assembly of claim 14, wherein the first end portion of the connecting plate is mounted on the support posts.
16. The ornament assembly of claim 15, wherein the first end portion of the connecting plate is provided with a plurality of locking holes secured on the support posts respectively.
17. The ornament assembly of claim 14, wherein the second end portion of the connecting plate is mounted on the support posts.
18. The ornament assembly of claim 17, wherein the second end portion of the connecting plate is provided with a plurality of locking bores secured on the support posts respectively.
19. The ornament assembly of claim 14, wherein the second end portion of the connecting plate abuts the second face of the support plate and is limited on the support posts by the respective fastening members.
20. The ornament assembly of claim 14, wherein the connecting plate encircles the end portion of each of the first decorative strips, the first end portion of each of the second decorative strips, the second face of the support plate and the second end portion of each of the second decorative strips.
