Abstract

The Challenger Sparring Partner Roller (shown in FIGS. 1, 2 and 3) is a moveable product that is designed to conform to the base of a stationary freestanding kicking and punching product used by boxers and Martial Arts Petitioners during training. Upon inserting the handles (FIG. 2) in to the top of the Challenger base (FIG. 3) which has caster wheels (FIG. 1) it makes a stationary freestanding product into the a moveable training product that is pushed and pulled in, out and all around the petitioners.

Description

  • The “Challenger Sparring Partner Roller” is made of a flat round sheet of steel with a steel band welded around the perimeter that is 6″ (inches) in width (FIG. 1) that is made to conform to the base of the punching and kicking training product that are to be made in various sizes which consist of 22″, 24″, and 28″ in diameter. Underneath the round base (FIG. 1) are six (6) ball bearing casters with 3″ (three) wheels, two of them with locks. The casters snap into a steel plate that has been welded to the bottom of the base (FIG. 1) so that the casters can be installed or removed in seconds. The base also has two (2) One inch (1″) pipes (FIG. 2) welded to the back of the base of the Challenger so that the handle bars which have rubber protectors on the vertical bars and handles can be installed or removed in seconds.
  • The Challenger is a cart on wheels (FIG. 1) that is made to conform to a stationary kicking and punching product that are used by boxers and Martial Arts Petitioners. The Challenger creates a stationary kicking and punching training product into a MOVEABLE kicking and punching training product once it is installed into the top (FIG. 3) so that the boxers and Martial Artist have the real feel and effect of moving combat and sparring training. A student can spar with one or multiple Challenger attackers that are moving in and out and all around the student. The Challenger is pushed and pulled with the punching and kicking training product on the inside of the base. During use of the Challenger the teacher can teach defense moves from multiple attacking positions with or without Martial Arts Weapons.
  • FIG. 1 is the bottom side of the Challenger considered the base made of carbon steel and 6 (six) 3″ (three) inch ball bearing wheels with 2 (two) that are locking.
  • FIG. 2 is the handles that are inserted in to the base of the Challenger that are made of 1″ (one) inch carbon steel pipe and with the wall thickness of 0.075.
  • They are to have a protective layer of 0.25 padding and rubber grips at top of handle bars.
  • FIG. 3 is the top of the Challenger which consists of a flat round sheet of steel with a steel band welded around the perimeter that is 6″ (six) inches in width.

Claims (1)

1. I claim that the Challenger Sparring Partner Roller is a moveable product that is designed to conform to the base of a stationary freestanding kicking and punching product used by boxers and Martial Arts Petitioners.
Upon inserting the stationary freestanding product into the base of the Challenger it becomes a moveable training product that is pushed and pulled in, out and all around the fighters so that they can spar with one or more opponents as well as practice using martial arts weapons against multiple attackers.
