Accordingly, when the bottle containing the oral cleaning liquid is mounted to a dispenser, a user can easily know a position of the bottle at which the cap rupturing member is located and then the bottle is mounted to the dispenser. As a result, a user can easily mount the bottle to the dispenser. In addition, when the bottle is correctly located to the cap rupturing member and is then pushed down, the second cap is ruptured along the tear lines. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent the liquid in the bottle from being leaked.

Abstract

Disclosed is a bottle used for a dispenser for dispensing oral cleaning liquid. The bottle comprises a bottle body capable of containing liquid; a bottle neck part formed at an upper part of the bottle body; a first cap engaged with an outer surface of the bottle neck part; and a second cap provided between the bottle neck part and the first cap and engaged at an upper end of the bottle neck part. The second cap is formed with a plurality of tear lines at an interval, which enable the second cap to be easily ruptured by an external force. A center of the second cap to which the tear lines are converged is formed with a recessed portion into which a protrusion provided to the dispenser is fitted.

Description

    CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS
  • This application claims benefit under 35 U.S.C. §119 from Korean Utility Model Application No. 20-2007-0010374, filed on Jun. 25, 2007 in the Korean Intellectual Property Office, the entire content of which is incorporated herein by reference.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The invention relates to a bottle for a dispenser, and more particularly, to a bottle for a dispenser having a means, which allows a user to reliably mount the bottle at a predetermined location, thereby preventing the liquid in the bottle from being leaked due to carelessness.
  • 2. Description of the Prior Art
  • A purifier having a receptacle containing drinking water mounted thereto and discharging the water is widely popularized and used in offices, banks, public offices and the like. The purifier is such structured that the liquid is continuously discharged when a lever is operated.
  • Meanwhile, in addition to the purifier, in recent years, an oral cleaning discharge device is mounted to a wall of the toilet so that a user can conveniently clean the mouth. To the oral cleaning discharge device is mounted a bottle containing a predetermined amount of oral cleaning liquid.
  • However, several inconvenience and problems are caused when mounting the bottle to the device.
  • Specifically, the bottle containing the oral cleaning liquid is typically designed to have such a size that a user can grasp it, contrary to a bottle for a purifier. Only a single cap is often used to seal an opening of the bottle. When mounting the bottle to the oral cleaning device, the cap should be removed and the bottle is then turned upside down. However, it is very difficult to mount the bottle, from which the cap is removed, at a predetermined location of the device. During the mount, much oral cleaning liquid is often leaked.
  • In order to prevent the above problem, a thin member such as aluminum foil is attached to the opening of the bottle so that the oral cleaning liquid does not flow out even when the bottle is turned upside down. However, as the thin aluminum foil is torn off, the oral cleaning liquid is often leaked.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The invention has been made to solve the above problems occurring in the prior art. An object of the invention is to provide a bottle used for a dispenser for dispensing oral cleaning liquid, which is capable of preventing the liquid in the bottle from being leaked even when a cap of the bottle is removed.
  • Another object of the invention is to provide a bottle used for a dispenser for dispensing oral cleaning liquid, which allows a user to mount the bottle having the cap removed therefrom to the dispenser at a correct position, thereby preventing the liquid in the bottle from being leaked due to carelessness.
  • In order to achieve the above objects, there is provided a bottle used for a dispenser for dispensing oral cleaning liquid, which comprises a bottle body capable of containing liquid; a bottle neck part formed at an upper part of the bottle body; a first cap engaged with an outer surface of the bottle neck part; and a second cap provided between the bottle neck part and the first cap and engaged at an upper end of the bottle neck part. The second cap is formed with a plurality of tear lines at an interval, which enable the second cap to be easily ruptured by an external force. A center of the second cap to which the tear lines are converged is formed with a recessed portion into which a protrusion provided to the dispenser is fitted.

  • The above and other objects, features and advantages of the present invention will be more apparent from the following detailed description taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, in which:
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a general structure of a bottle according to an embodiment of the invention;
  • FIG. 2 shows a preferred structure of a second cap mounted to a bottle according to an embodiment of the invention;
  • FIG. 3 shows an aspect in which a bottle according to an embodiment of the invention is mounted to a liquid dispenser; and
  • FIG. 4 shows a process of positioning a bottle and rupturing a second cap when mounting a bottle according to an embodiment of the invention to a liquid dispenser.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the following descriptions of the present invention, a detailed description of known functions and configurations incorporated herein will be omitted when it may make the subject matter of the present invention rather unclear.
  • FIG. 1 shows a general structure of a bottle according to an embodiment of the invention.
  • As shown, a bottle used for a dispenser for dispensing oral cleaning liquid comprises a bottle body 10 and two caps 20, 30 that are engaged to a bottle neck part formed at an upper part of the bottle body 10.
  • A first cap 30 is a plastic cap that is commonly used. The first cap has a threaded part therein, so that it is engaged with a threaded part 10 a of the bottle body 10. In the mean time, according to the invention, a second cap 20 is further provided between the first cap 30 and the bottle neck part and is engaged at an upper end of the bottle neck part.
  • A detailed structure of the second cap 20 is described with reference to FIG. 2.
  • As shown, the second cap 20 is formed with a plurality of tear lines 20 a (in this embodiment, four (4) tear lines) at an interval (in this embodiment, 90 degrees), which enable the second cap 20 to be easily ruptured by an external force. In addition, a center of the second cap 20 to which the tear lines are converged is formed with a recessed portion 20 b into which a cap rupturing member 400 (refer to FIG. 4) is fitted.
  • Hereinafter, it is described a process of mounting the bottle structured as described above to a dispenser for dispensing oral cleaning liquid.
  • FIG. 3 is an exploded perspective view of schematically showing a general structure of a dispenser for dispensing oral cleaning liquid to which a bottle according to an embodiment of the invention is mounted.
  • As shown, the dispenser comprises a first housing structure 200 having engaging holes 200 a that are engaged with engaging portions 100 a of a bracket 100 mounted to a wall, and a second housing structure 300 that is pivotably connected to the first housing structure 200. The first housing structure 200 comprises a discharge device that discharges the oral cleaning liquid in the bottle. Since the structures of the discharge device is well known, its description is omitted.
  • Both sided tape is attached to a rear side of the bracket 100, so that a user can attach the bracket 100 to a wall with the both sided tape. When the engaging holes 200 a of the first housing structure 100 are engaged with the engaging portions 100 a of the bracket 100, the first housing structure is stably mounted to the bracket. Then, the bottle of the invention is mounted to the first housing structure 100 while tearing off it with the cap rupturing member 400.
  • Specifically, according to the prior art, since a separate sealing cap is not provided to a bottle, it is not easy to turn the bottle upside down and to mount it to a dispenser after removing a cap from the bottle. In addition, when an aluminum foil is attached to an opening of the bottle, it is possible to prevent the liquid in the bottle from being leaked. However, when mounting the bottle, the aluminum foil is easily ruptured by the cap rupturing member 400, so that the liquid is instantaneously leaked.
  • However, according to the invention, since the second plastic cap 20 is mounted to an opening of the bottle, it is possible to prevent the liquid in the bottle from being poured out even when the first cap 30 is removed. Furthermore, since the second cap 20 is formed with the recessed portion 20 b, when a user locates the cap rupturing member 400 of the dispenser into the recessed portion 20 b and then pushes down the bottle (refer to FIG. 4 a) in mounting the bottle to the dispenser, the second cap 20 is ruptured along the tear lines 20 a. As a result, the oral cleaning liquid in the bottle is supplied into the dispenser without being leaked (refer to FIG. 4 b). In other words, a user can easily locate the bottle to the cap rupturing member 400 of the dispenser. And, when the user inserts the member into the recessed portion and pushes down the bottle, the second cap 20 is ruptured along the tear lines and the liquid in the bottle is supplied into the dispenser without being leaked.
  • As described above, according to the invention, a separate second cap having sealing and locating functions is provided to a bottle, in addition to a cap that is naturally provided to the bottle. Accordingly, when the bottle containing the oral cleaning liquid is mounted to a dispenser, a user can easily know a position of the bottle at which the cap rupturing member is located and then the bottle is mounted to the dispenser. As a result, a user can easily mount the bottle to the dispenser. In addition, when the bottle is correctly located to the cap rupturing member and is then pushed down, the second cap is ruptured along the tear lines. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent the liquid in the bottle from being leaked.
  • While the invention has been shown and described with reference to certain preferred embodiments thereof, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes in form and details may be made thereto without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as defined by the appended claims. In particular, although the invention is described with reference to a bottle containing the oral cleaning liquid, the invention can be applied to any bottle containing liquid.

Claims (2)

1. A bottle used for a dispenser for dispensing oral cleaning liquid, the bottle comprising:
a bottle body capable of containing liquid;
a bottle neck part formed at an upper part of the bottle body;
a first cap engaged with an outer surface of the bottle neck part; and
a second cap provided between the bottle neck part and the first cap and engaged at an upper end of the bottle neck part,
wherein the second cap is formed with a plurality of tear lines at an interval, which enable the second cap to be easily ruptured by an external force, and
wherein a center of the second cap to which the tear lines are converged is formed with a recessed portion into which a protrusion provided to the dispenser is fitted.
2. The bottle according to claim 1, wherein the tear lines are arranged at an angle of 90 degrees around the recessed portion.
