Abstract
A handle for beer sticks in accordance with the present invention which is used as a switch or a decoration is disclosed. The handle for beer sticks includes a shell and a glow part. The shell has a transparent portion and the glow part is mounted inside the shell. The glow part includes a power supply circuit, a controller and a glow circuit having light-emitting diodes. Under the control of the controller, the light-emitting diodes can twinkle in turn or in various orders or in synchronization to bring different twinkling effects through the transparent portion on the shell. Accordingly, the handle for beer sticks can attract attention of consumers and be beneficial to exhibition for sale.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a handle for beer tap handle used as a switch and or a decoration, and more especially to a handle for beer tap handle with a function of glowing and twinkling.
- 2. Description of the Prior Art/Technology
- Conventional handles for beer tap handle are usually made of wood, ceramic, plastic with metal accessories and decorated with static patterns, labels, colored drawings/paintings, laser decorations and so on. The handles for beer tap handle attract users through complex shape or labels/decals in different kinds of materials to achieve competition in the market. However, only changes in shape and patterns of the handles cannot bring more attraction to the users and achieve better propaganda effects.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a handle for beer tap handle, after installed, which can effectively attract attention of consumers and achieve better propaganda effects because its glowing and twinkling. Some of the designs using this technology can attract more attention of consumers when the users pull the handle and pour beer.
- To achieve the above-mentioned object, a handle for beer tap handle in accordance with the present invention is disclosed as the followings. The handle used as beer tap handle includes a shell having a transparent portion and a glow part which is mounted inside the shell and includes a power supply circuit, a controller and a glow circuit.
- Under the control of the controller, glow elements in the glow circuit can twinkle in turn or in various orders or in synchronization to bring different twinkling effects through the transparent portion on the shell thereby to attract attention of consumers and be beneficial to exhibition for sale.
- The glow part includes an electric supporting portion, a semitransparent soft rubber pipe and a transparent hard rubber pipe, the transparent hard rubber pipe sleeves the semitransparent soft rubber pipe, the semitransparent soft rubber pipe sleeves the electric supporting portion and the transparent hard rubber pipe is fixed inside the shell via a waterproof rubber ring.
- The shell includes a cap portion, a body and a base portion with threading which fixedly connect in turn.
- The glow part includes an electric supporting portion, a circuit board, a semitransparent soft rubber pipe and a transparent hard rubber pipe. The assembled glow part is mounted in a middle portion of the body.

FIGS. 1-5 . -
FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view of a glow beer stick in accordance with a preferred embodiment of the present invention. As shown inFIG. 1 , the glow beer stick in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention includes abody 4, abase portion 12 and a cap portion 8, which fixedly connect in turn to form an integrated appearance. A group of light-emitting diodes are mounted inside thebody 4 and glow through transparent words and sentences on thebody 4. - In assemblies, a connecting
screw 6 extends outwards from a top of thebody 4 and is fixed. Then a glow piece is mounted in thebody 4. The glow piece includes an electric supportingportion 1, acircuit board 1 a, a semitransparentsoft rubber pipe 2 and a transparenthard rubber pipe 3. The glow piece connects to a power supply via the electric supportingportion 1 and is fixed via assembly positions inside thebody 4 and awaterproof rubber ring 5. Acover plate 10 tights screws via two sides thereof and presses a connectingscrew 9 against an inside of ascrew thread cover 11, and then thescrew thread cover 11 is fixed on thebody 4 via engaging with screw threads on thebody 4, thereby to form a bottom of thebody 4. Thewaterproof rubber ring 5 is arranged in a groove of thebody 4 and pressed by the whole bottom of thebody 4. Finally, mount the cap portion 8 and thebase portion 12 on thebody 4. The glow beer tap handle can be fixed on most types of switches/switch connector especially in USA for beer barrels via screw threads inside thebase portion 12. When the glow beer tap handle is turned on, the electric supportingportion 1 can glow to attract attention of consumers and be beneficial to exhibition for sale. The glow beer tap handle also can adopt other types of bases to take the place of thebase portion 12 with screw threads, and when the glow beer tap handle is turned on, the electric supporting portion can glow. - The glow beer tap handle has the group of light-emitting diodes to glow and twinkle and the twinkling order is determined by the
integrated circuit board 1 a shown inFIG. 2 . As shown inFIG. 2 , thecircuit board 1 a includes a power supply circuit, a controller U2 and a glow circuit. The type of the controller U2 is GI06035. After rectified by a diode D9 and transformed by a transformer U2, a power supply VCC connects to the glow circuit and a power input VDD of the controller U1 respectively. A resistance R1 is disposed between the power input VDD of the controller U1 and a clock oscillating port OSC. Twinkling choice inputs P10, P11, P12, P13 of the controller U1 connect to a ground through resistances R19, R18, R17, R16, respectively. The twinkling choice input P12 directly connects to the power input VDD. A grounding port GND directly connects to the ground. Ports P20, P21, P22, P23, P30, P31 all are control signal outputs and respectively send switch control signals to LED lights of circuit groups A to F of the glow circuit. Each of the circuit groups A to F has a triode Q6, Q5, Q4, Q3, Q2, Q1. The emitter electrodes of the triodes Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4, Q5, Q6 connect with each other and connect to the ground. The base electrode of each triode Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4, Q5, Q6 receives a control signal from the controller U1. The collectors of the triodes Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4, Q5, Q6 respectively connect with the diodes D8 to D1 used as LED lights. Other ports P40, P41, P42, P43, P50, P51, P52, P53, RST, BU01, BU02, P32, P33, P60, P61, P62, P63 of the controller U1 are empty for standby. The light-emitting diodes D1 to D8 may twinkle in turn from the light-emitting diode D1 to the light-emitting diode D8 or in various orders or in synchronization to bring different twinkling effects thereby the glow beer tap handle can attract attention of consumers and be beneficial to exhibition for sale. -
FIG. 3 is an exploded perspective view of a glow beer tap handle in accordance with another preferred embodiment of the present invention. As shown inFIG. 3 , the glow beer tap handle in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention includes afront body 3′, arear body 4′ and abase portion 12′, which fixedly connect in turn to form an integrated appearance. A group of light-emittingdiodes 5′ are mounted inside thefront body 3′ and therear body 4′ and glow through transparent words and sentences on thefront body 3′ and therear body 4′. - The glow piece includes a
glow box 1′, acircuit board 1 a′ and the group of light-emittingdiodes 5′. The glow piece connects to a power supply via the group of light-emittingdiodes 5′. Thefront body 3′ and therear body 4′ engage with each other and press theglow box 1′, thecircuit board 1 a′ and a connectingscrew 9′ from front and back via the pressing bones formed on middle portions and bottoms of thefront body 3′ and therear body 4′. Thebase portion 12′ with screw threads engages with the connectingscrew 9′ via engagement of screw threads to be fixed on thefront body 3′ and therear body 4′. The glow beer tap handle can be fixed on most types of switches/switch connector especially in USA via the screw threads inside thebase portion 12′. When the glow beer tap handle is turned on, theglow box 1′ can glow to attract attention of consumers and be beneficial to exhibition for sale. - The glow beer tap handle has the group of light-
emitting diodes 5′ to glow and twinkle and the twinkling order is determined by the integratedcircuit board 1 a′ shown inFIG. 4 andFIG. 5 . As shown inFIG. 4 andFIG. 5 , thecircuit board 1 a′ includes a power supply circuit, a controller U2 and a glow circuit. The type of the controller U2 is GI06035. After rectified by a diode D72 and transformed by a transformer U2, a power supply VCC connects to the glow circuit and a power input VDD of the controller U1 respectively. A resistance R1 is disposed between the power input VDD of the controller U1 and a clock oscillating port OSC. Twinkling choice inputs P10, P11, P12, P13 of the controller U1 connect to a ground through resistances R16, R17, R18, R19, respectively. The twinkling choice input P10 directly connects to the power input VDD. A grounding port GND directly connects to the ground. Ports P20, P21, P22, P23, P30, P31, P32, P33, P40, P41, P42 all are control signal outputs and respectively send switch control signals to LED lights of circuit groups A to K of the glow circuit. Each of the circuit groups A to K has a triode Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4, Q5, Q6, Q7, Q8, Q9, Q10 & Q11. The emitter electrodes of the triodes Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4, Q5, Q6, Q7, Q8, Q9, Q10, Q11 connect with each other and connect to the ground. The base electrode of each triode Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4, Q5, Q6, Q7, Q8, Q9, Q10 & Q11 receives a control signal from the controller U1. The collector electrodes of the triodes Q1-Q11 respectively connect with the groups of diodes used as LED lights. Other ports P43, P50, P51, P52, P53, RST, BU01, BU02, P32, P33, P60, P61, P62, P63 of the controller U1 are empty for standby. The power supply VCC directly connects to parallel red LED of the circuit group A. The power input VDD supplies power for the LED light circuit groups B-K, wherein the LED of the circuit groups B, D, F, H, K emit red lights, and the LED of the others groups emit blue lights. All the light-emitting diodes can twinkle in turn or in various orders or in synchronization to bring different twinkling effects thereby the glow beer tap handle can attract attention of consumers and be beneficial to exhibition for sale. The present invention also can adopt other glow elements such as electronic luminescence (EL) pieces or organic light-emitting diodes (OLED) and so on to take the place of the light-emitting diodes. - What is disclosed above is only the preferred embodiment of the present invention and it is therefore not intended that the present invention be limited to the particular embodiments disclosed. The preferred embodiment of the present invention can be made various changes. It will be understood by those skilled in the art that various equivalent changes may be made depending on the specification and the drawings of present invention without departing from the scope of the present invention.
Claims (5)
1. A handle for beer sticks, comprising:
a shell, having a transparent portion; and
a glow part, mounted inside the shell and including a power supply circuit, a controller and a glow circuit.
2. The handle for beer sticks as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the glow part includes an electric supporting portion, a circuit board, a semitransparent soft rubber pipe and a transparent hard rubber pipe, the transparent hard rubber pipe sleeves the semitransparent soft rubber pipe, the semitransparent soft rubber pipe sleeves the electric supporting portion and the transparent hard rubber pipe is fixed inside the shell via a waterproof rubber ring.
3. The handle for beer sticks as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the shell includes a cap portion, a body and a base portion which are fixed connection in turn.
4. The handle for beer sticks as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the shell includes a front body, a rear body and a base portion with screw threads, the front body and the rear body firstly engage with each other and then connect with the base portion with screw threads.
5. The handle for beer sticks as claimed in claim 4 , wherein the glow part includes a glow box and a circuit board, the glow box is mounted between the front body and the rear body and pressed by the front body and the rear body.
