Abstract

A packing container, including a box and a handle structure, is disclosed. The box includes a plurality of openings and a slit linking the openings. The handle structure disposed on the box includes a body and a handling element which is integrally formed with the body and partially extends outside the box.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The invention relates to a handle structure, and in more particularly to a packing container and an integrally formed handle structure thereof.
  • 2. Description of the Related Art
  • In FIG. 1A, a conventional handle structure 10 comprises a handling element 1 and a fixed element 2. The handling element 1 comprises a holding portion 11 and two rectangular positioning portions 12 formed at two ends of the holding portion 11, respectively. The fixed element 2 comprises two rectangular openings 21 corresponding to the positioning portions 12 of the handling element 1. The long side length of the positioning portion 12 is greater than the short side length of the openings 21 of the fixed element 2.
  • In FIG. 1B, a plate 20 of a paper box B is provided with two holes (not shown in Figs.) corresponding to the rectangular openings 21 of the fixed element 2. The handling element 1 and the fixed element 2 of the handle structure 10 are installed by placing the fixed element 2 under the plate 20, aligning the rectangular openings 21 with those on the plate 20, and then inserting the positioning portions 12 of the handling element 1 sequentially into the holes of the plate 20 of the paper box B and the rectangular openings 21 of the fixed element 2. When the positioning portions 12 of the handling element 1 pass completely through the holes of the plate 20 of the paper box B and the rectangular openings 21 of the fixed element 2, the long side of the positioning portions 12 of the handling element 1 are substantially perpendicular to the long sides of the rectangular openings 21 of the fixed element 2, thus, the handling element 1 is securely engaged with the plate 20 of the paper box B. By holding the holding portion 11 of the handling element 1, the paper box B can be easily moved.
  • The handling element 1 and the fixed element 2 are two individual elements, thus, reducing material costs and assembly time is difficult. Besides, precision and tolerance of the handling element 1 and the fixed element 2 must also be considered carefully.
  • BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • An integrally formed, single source material handle structure capable of being rapidly assembled is provided. An exemplary embodiment of a handle structure comprises a handling element integrally formed with a body. The handling element comprises a plurality of fixed ends and a holding portion. The fixed ends are securely connected to the body and the holding portion is connected to the fixed ends. The handle structure further comprises a folding line disposed on the body, for increasing flexible deformability of the body. The handle structure may comprise plastic.
  • A packing container of the invention comprises a box and a handle structure. The paper box comprises a plurality of openings and a slit linking the openings. The handle structure disposed on the box comprises a body and a handling element which is integrally formed with the body and partially extends outside the box.
  • The body of the packing container can further comprise a folding line, thereby increasing flexible deformability of the body. The handling element comprises a plurality of fixed ends securely connected to the body and a holding portion connected to the fixed ends. The handle structure may comprise plastic. The openings can comprise an L-shaped structure.
  • A detailed description is given in the following embodiments with reference to the accompanying drawings.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • The invention can be more fully understood by reading the subsequent detailed description and examples with references made to the accompanying drawings, wherein:
  • FIG. 1A is a top view of a conventional handle structure;
  • FIG. 1B is a side view of the conventional handle structure connected to a top plate of a paper box;
  • FIG. 2 is a top view of a handle structure of the invention;
  • FIG. 3 is a side view of the handle structure connected to a top plate of a paper box of a packing container;
  • FIG. 4A is a perspective view of the paper box of FIG. 3;
  • FIG. 4B is a top view of the paper box of FIG. 4A;
  • FIG. 5A is a schematic view of the paper box and the handle structure of the packing container; and
  • FIG. 5B is another schematic view of the paper box and the handle structure of the packing container.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • The following description is of the best-contemplated mode of carrying out the invention. This description is made for the purpose of illustrating the general principles of the invention and should not be taken in a limiting sense. The scope of the invention is best determined by reference to the appended claims.
  • In FIG. 2, a handle structure 100 comprises a body 60, a handling element 30 and at least one folding line 33. The handling element 30 is a simple supported beam structure integrally formed with the body 60. The handling element 30 comprises two fixed ends 32 securely connected to the body 60 and a holding portion 31 having two ends 311 connected to the fixed ends 32, respectively. The folding line 33 is disposed on the body 60 to increase the flexible deformability of the body 60. In this embodiment, the number of folding lines 33 is three, and the folding lines 33 are spaced from each other.
  • In FIG. 3, a packing container P of the embodiment comprises a paper box 51 having a top plate 510 and the handle structure 100 detachably connected to the paper box 51. In FIGS. 4A and 4B, an engaging portion 510H formed on the top plate 510 of the paper box 51 comprises a plurality of L-shaped openings 56 and a slit 53 linking the openings 56. Each L-shaped opening 56 comprises a first port 561 and a second port 562. In this embodiment, the number of L-shaped openings 56 is two, and the slit 53 is located between L-shaped openings 56. In comparison with the conventional slotted structure, the engaging portion 510H of the paper box 51 is provides a suitable functional design capable of receiving and accommodating the handle structure 100.
  • When the handle structure 100 is connected to the paper box 51, the curved holding portion 31 of the handle structure 100 passing through the openings 56 and the slit 53 extends from the outside of the top plate 510 of the paper box 51, and the fixed ends 32 of the handling element 30 are securely attached to the inside of the top plate 510 of the paper box 51 when the holding portion 31 of the handle structure 100 is lifted.
  • When the holding portion 31 of the handle structure 100 is lifted, the body 60 of the handle structure 100 is folded along the folding lines 33 to form a regularly and symmetrically corrugated deformation region 330, i.e., an irregular or asymmetric deformation at the middle of a conventional handle structure can be prevented.
  • Referring to FIGS. 2, 5A and 5B, when installing the handle structure 100 on the paper box 51, the upper part 52 of the top plate 510 is slightly lifted to allow the holding portion 31 to be inserted into the slit 53 of the top plate 510 and exposing on the lower part 54 of the top plate 510. Due to the distance between the fixed ends 32 of the handling element 30 equal to that between the L-shaped openings 56 of the top plate 510, the fixed ends 32 of the handling element 30 are respectively engaged to the first ports 561 of the L-shaped openings 56 of the top plate 510. When the handling element 30 is lifted, the body 60 of the handle structure 100 is curved and the fixed ends 32 of the handling element 30 are securely inserted into the second ports 562 of the L-shaped openings 56, respectively. Thus, by lifting the handle structure 100, the paper box 51 can be moved.
  • Based on the described features, the handle structure 100 of the embodiment is directly formed by a single plate and can be rapidly assembled on a production line, thus, material costs and time are reduced, and the assembly process is simplified.
  • While the invention has been described by way of example and in terms of the preferred embodiments, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited to the disclosed embodiments. To the contrary, it is intended to cover various modifications and similar arrangements (as would be apparent to those skilled in the art). Therefore, the scope of the appended claims should be accorded the broadest interpretation so as to encompass all such modifications and similar arrangements.
