- Object of Invention
- Technology Field for the Invention and Developed-technology in the Field
- As this invention is about reuse of pail pack that is the container for wire rode like welding wire, it secures stability when consecutively supplies the welding wire to Automatic Welding Device and makes the reusable pack pail, which is the container for transportation and storage.
- The packing methods of welding wire for automatic welding device are spool type that rolls to plastic bobbin, coil method that uses paper support and pail pack method that is the type of drum. The use of pail pack that can deal with huge amount between 200 kg and 600 kg is gradually increasing to improve the efficiency for long consecutive work. The regular structure of pail pack is that connects the bottom plate with iron frame to the bottom of drum-typed branch pipe with high strength by using press, presses iron frame on top and closes the cover. But this invention is cylinder-typed or octagon transparent resin drum container and it is easy to check the residue amount of welding wire in the container.
- Based on environmental issue, the pail pack container exported to US, Japan and Europe has been asked to be recollected by the exporter. However, the pail pack is very strong to prevent the heavy welding wire and maintain the solidity and non-hygroscopic property and it is difficult to break up after use at site and the distribution cost increases because of its big volume to recollect and reuse.
- For this reason, there were various attempts to reuse the pail pack. For example, there is the KR registration of a utility model, # 278814 that connects more than four metal supports (2) to concaved bottom disk (1) of metal material with screw, distributes moisture-proof bottom disk (3) and cylinder (4) to inside of it one after another and connects the concaved top disk (5) and top support (2) with screw (6), which is easy to fit and remove, as shown in drawing 1. It is easy to disassemble the container but difficult to solve the problem with huge amount of distribution cost to recollect and reuse the drum that is structured with corrugated cardboard treated with plastic or duplex enamel for moisture-proofing.
- There also is KR registration of a patent, # 560824 that more than one middle ring (15) that connects the ring-shaped metal housing (10) with certain diameter that many arms are connected to all direction and upper ring (13) that the diameter is same with the housing to body shafts (14) that is connected to both ends of the housing and upper and has same diameter with the housing and upper ring in parallel is welded as shown in the drawing 2. The iron container is reusable as a waste but it also could not solve the problem of transportation cost.
- Technical Project for Invention
- As this invention is to solve above problems, it vertically separates the drum-typed pail pack and makes easy connection and disconnection of container. Therefore, it is possible to reuse the container because the volume can be reduced when it is disconnected and recollected.
- It is also possible to attach the socket outside of the container that supplies power to heat or dehumidify the inside of pail pack.
- As it attaches the structure that can insert the fork of forklift when transport the pail pack to short distance at the bottom of pail pack, it makes work easier.
- It also guides presser, that prevents to loose and tangle the wire supplied from inside of pail pack to welding system, to up and down with guide home on drum surface of pail pack and prevents the tangle the wire by using the roller for wire and presser.
- Concept of the Invention
- To achieve above objectives, it makes body, cover, sidebar, bottom plate and auxiliary bottom plate by injecting the plastic and inner drum by rolling up the plastic.
- It reduces volume of container when recollect and distribution cost as injected parts of container is connected and disconnected by using fastening tool such as bolt, nut or screw and the body of container can be separated to more than two and less than four. It is going to describe the invention by referring the drawing with disable example.
- As the drawing 2 is a deal auxiliary view of the invention, it is example that the body separates into two. The drawing four is the example that the body separates into three (a) or four(b), the
drawing 5 is example that the cover and body are fastened, thedrawing 6 is example that the body is connected to bottom plate and auxiliary bottom plate, the drawing 7 is example that the inner drum is fixed on the bottom plate, the drawing 8 is example that the sidebar is connected to body and bottom plate, the drawing 8 is the open condition of drum and the drawing 10 is the condition that the presser is connected to the guide home of the body. - As shown in the drawing, this invention assembles injection-molded parts made of plastic and forms pail pack.
- Therefore, it is possible to reuse if replaces the broken part.
- With the transparent resin of body (11), it is possible to check the residue amount and condition of wire and reuse the waste vinyl.
- With the rubber gasket to connection area of container, it prevents the moisture gets into inside of the container
- With the socket (12) to connect the power on outside of container body (11), it extends and wires the cable to supply the power to heating and dehumidifying system that prevents the moisture and the rust on rolled-up wire.
- As the presser, presses delivered wire, contacts to the wire that is delivered by radial-shaped roller (28) that penetrates the presser to up and down, it reduces friction and prevents to get loose and tangled when it is delivered.
- It describes the assembling process of pail pack (13) by connecting the injected parts.
-
- The platy inner drum (17) forms a rounded shape by connecting T connecting holes (18) on both ends and can be fixed on the bottom plate (19) by inserting to ring groove (20) or fastening hole on the bottom and outside of bottom plate (19)
- When uses non-transparent plastic body (11) for inner drum (17), it can make long and narrow slit (21) to check the residue amount of wire in inner drum (17).
- Then it places assembled body (11) on the bottom plate (19) that the inner drum (17) is inserted, sets the frame of bottom plate (19) and connecting hole (22) on the bottom of body (11) and fixes it with fastening hole (16).
- The pail pack is fully assembled when load the welding wire to the container that the body (11), bottom plate (19) and inner drum (17) are connected, close the cover (23) and fasten the fastening hole. When transport the pail pack (13), the auxiliary bottom plate that is used to insert the fork for forklift is always available by connecting the pail pack (13) of pail pack with bolt. However, there is no problem to remove when it is not required.
- When draw out the welding wire from pail pack (13), open the cover (23), place the presser (25) on top of rolled-up wire, inserts the projection formed at the edge of presser (25) to guide home (27) on the body (11) and moves it up and down. When moves up or down or transport the pail pack (13), auxiliary bottom plate (24) that substitutes for pallet is structured to insert the fork for forklift at the bottom. The auxiliary bottom plate (24) is easy to connect or disconnect to/from bottom plate (19)
- When the welding wire rolled up to pail pack (13) is fully consumed, disassemble the pail pack (13) with the reversed order of assembly, and transport it to supplier for reuse. It is the end of usage cycle of pail pack (13).
- Effect of Invention
- As described above, this invention makes possible to disassemble the pail pack and reduce its volume after use and save the distribution cost for recollection. Therefore, it improves economic feasibility of reuse and does not causes environmental problem according to disuse of pail pack.
