Abstract

A solo-operated convenient boat cover comprises a cover cloth under which a piece of fabric is sewn, thereby forming a pouch in form of a three-dimensional space between the fabric and the cover cloth. The user may mount the pouch on the bow tip first, and pull the boat cover to cover the whole hull. By way of fixing the pouch at the bow, the boat cover would not slip when the user is mounting the boat cover individually. In view of the above, it is easy and convenient for one to use the solo-operated convenient boat cover according to the present invention.

Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

(a) Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a solo-operated convenient boat cover, particularly to one that has a pouch design at the bow portion of the boat cover, such that the user may mount the boat cover at the bow without slip, thereby allowing the solo-operation easy and convenient.
(b) Description of the Prior Art
A boat cover is generally used for protecting a boat from damage and chap due to the erosion by dust, rain and sunshine. Therefore, when the boat is anchored, the user would protect it with a boat cover.
There are various tapes of boat covers sold in the markets. The common design is primarily composed of a cover cloth corresponding to the hull size. A tie-down portion interiorly provided with a rope combined with a locker is provided at the edge of the cover cloth, thereby when the cover cloth is mounted on the hull, it can be fastened to the hull by way of binding up the tie-down portion via the rope and the locker to obtain a protection effect. However, in view of huge size of the boat, when mounting the boat cover by one user, he/she must mount the boat cover on the hull with several steps. Besides, the cover cloth mounted on the bow will easily slip when the user pulls the cover cloth to mount on the stern, rendering the operation of mounting a boat cover quite time-consuming, or even require the cooperation of more than two persons.
In view of the above, the inventor has positively research to design the invention subject to the disadvantages existent in the prior arts, and has disclosed a solo-operated convenient boat cover design, which can allow one person to operate easily and speedily.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary object of the invention is to provide a solo-operated convenient boat cover, which has a pouch design at the portion of bow for mounting and fixing to the bow without slip when the user is pulling the boat cover to cover the whole hull. The invention can allow instant and convenient solo-operation.
To obtain the above objects, the solo-operated convenient boat cover according to the invention comprises a cover cloth corresponding to the hull size. A tie-down portion interiorly installed with a rope is provided at the edge of the boat cover. The rope can be alternatively combined with a locker. A piece of fabric is sewn under the boat cover at the bow portion, thereby forming a pouch between the fabric and the cover cloth. The opening of the pouch is sewn with an elastic band for griping the bow tip at the time when the pouch is mounted thereon. Thereafter, the user can pull the boat cover to cover the whole boat, and pull the rope to tie down the cover cloth on the hull. By way of fixing the pouch at the bow, the boat cover would not slip when the user is mounting the boat cover individually. In view of the above, it is easy and convenient to use the solo-operated convenient boat cover according to the present invention.
To completely appreciate these and other objects of the present invention as well as the invention itself, all of which will become apparent to those skilled in the art, the following detailed description of the invention and the claims should be read in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the invention comprises a cover cloth 10 corresponding to the hull size. A tie-down portion 11 interiorly installed with a rope 12 is provided at the edge of the cover cloth 10. The rope 12 can be tied down and knotted to reduce the size of the tie-down portion 11. The rope 12 can be alternatively combined with a locker 13, thereby the rope 12 can be pulled and positioned for the purposes of tightening or loosening. The tie-down portion 11 of the cover cloth 10 is fastened to the edge of the hull 40. A piece of fabric 20 is sewn under the cover cloth 10 at the bow portion, thereby forming a pouch 30 of a 3-D space between the fabric 20 and the cover cloth 10. The opening of the pouch 30 is sewn with an elastic band 21 to accomplish a novel boat cover 1 design.
Referring to FIGS. 3 to 5, when the boat cover 1 is in use, the pouch 30 is first mounted on and fastened to the bow tip 41 for griping the bow tip 41. Thereafter, the user can pull the boat cover 1 to cover the two ends 10 a and 10 b of the stern by his/her own. As the pouch 30 has been pre-mounted on the bow for fastening purposes, it would not slip at the time when the user pulls the boat cover 1 to cover the left and right sides of the hull 40. Thereafter, the user may arrange the tie-down portion 11 to allow the cover cloth 10 completely cover the edge of the boat. Finally, the rope 12 at the rear end of the boat cover 1 is pulled and knotted for fastening purposes.
FIG. 2 shows an embodiment of the invention, wherein the rope 12 is combined with a locker 13 which has one-way effect to bind the rope 12 and prevent the rope 12 from slip. Accordingly, the user can have the tie-down portion 11 of the boat cover 1 firmly bound on the hull 40 easily without help by others.
As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the pouch 30 according to the invention is an outwardly extending piece of fabric which is cut and sewn to be in form of a half-moon shape, such that when the fabric of the pouch 30 is sewn with the cover cloth 10, a 3-D space would be form therebetween for receiving the bow tip 41 closely, thereby serving a cushion for protecting the boat from scratching during transportation.
Concluded above, the invention provides a simply component design, which can be solo-operated easily and speedily. While certain novel features of this invention have been shown and described and are pointed out in the annexed Claims, it is not intended to be limited to the details above, since it will be understood that various omissions, modifications, substitutions and changes in the forms and details of the device illustrated and in its operation can be made by those skilled in the art without departing in any way from the spirit of the present invention.

Claims

1. A solo-operated convenient boat cover, comprising a cover cloth, a piece of fabric, and a rope, wherein,

the boat cover is in form of a cover cloth, at the edge of which has a tie-down portion interiorly provided with a rope; and

the piece of fabric is sewn under the cover cloth at the bow end, thereby forming a pouch in form of a three-dimensional between the fabric and the cover cloth for receiving the bow tip.

2. The solo-operated convenient boat cover according to claim 1, wherein the edge of the pouch is provided with an elastic band.
