Abstract
A press-button type multi-stage winding mechanism is disclosed. The winding mechanism comprises a top and bottom cover, a button, a looped spring, a sliding disc, wire, a winding disc, and bottom disc. The wire is pulled to a required length and will be automatically positioned. The distance of the wire is precisely controlled and the button is pressed to secure, and to release by pressing again the button which can rapidly wind the wire.
Description
- (a) Technical Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a winding mechanism, and in particular, to a press-button type winding mechanism which can secure wire at a desired length and portion, and retract the wire to its original position.
- (b) Description of the Prior Art
- Cable and wirings are to be wound at a distance and clipped with a device so as to provide an appropriate length to the user. In order to provide a mechanism which can appropriately deliver a desired length and secured automatically at that length, and release the wire from the secured position by just pressing the button, the conventional winding mechanism employs a steel beads and spiral spring to control the wire so that a desired wire length can be secured after it is retracted. The drawback of the conventional winding mechanism is that a rail positioning structure is needed. Therefore, a single winding operation will fully retract the wire. In other words, the wire cannot be subsequently wound or retracted. Another drawback of the conventional winding mechanism is that the pulled out length of the wire cannot be precisely controlled.
- Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention is to provide a press-button type multi-stage winding mechanism which mitigates the above mentioned drawbacks.
- The primary purpose of the present invention is to provide a the sliding disc is fastened to the winding disc and the top portion of the edge seat is for the urging of the spring, and the center shaft of the bottom disc is a through hole for the engagement with the inner edge of the spiral spring, and the external edge of the edge seat is one or at least one positioning block which is corresponding to the urging rod of the button; the wire passes through the through hole of the winding disc and is led to the reverse direction edge seat so that the boundary of the wire is divided into a positive wire and a reverse direction wire which are respectively mounted onto the positive direction and reverse direction of the edge seat, and the positive and reverse direction wire of the boundary point are secured by a securing plate at the edge seat, and the reverse direction wire passes through the sot of the center shaft and is secured at the bottom slot so that the end of the reverse direction is a specific end head of the wire; the winding disc has a positive direction edge seat face and a negative edge seat face, wherein the positive edge seat has an engaging button to engage with an engaging hole of the sliding disc, and the positive direction wire surrounds the external edge of the positive direction winding seat and passes through the through hole of the winding seat to the negative direction edge seat and winds at the engaging plate on the negative edge seat for positioning; the bottom disc has a center shaft having a bottom slot allowing the negative direction wire end to pass through and is positioned at the engaging slot of the bottom disc so that an end head is formed at the wire; and the bottom center which is corresponding to the top cover to form a sealing and thus a winding mechanism is formed.
- Yet another object of the present invention is to provide a press-button type multi-stage winding mechanism, wherein the wire is wiring which is divided into a positive direction wire and a negative direction wire. Still another object of the present invention is to provide a press-button type multi-stage winding mechanism, wherein the positive direction wire end is a connection conductive end or transmission connection end, and the negative direction wire end is connected to a connecting object.
- The foregoing object and summary provide only a brief introduction to the present invention. To fully appreciate these and other objects of the present invention as well as the invention itself, all of which will become apparent to those skilled in the art, the following detailed description of the invention and the claims should be read in conjunction with the accompanying drawings. Throughout the specification and drawings identical reference numerals refer to identical or similar parts.
- Many other advantages and features of the present invention will become manifest to those versed in the art upon making reference to the detailed description and the accompanying sheets of drawings in which a preferred structural embodiment incorporating the principles of the present invention is shown by way of illustrative example.

FIG. 8 is a schematic view showing the operation of the winding mechanism of the present invention. - The following descriptions are of exemplary embodiments only, and are not intended to limit the scope, applicability or configuration of the invention in any way. Rather, the following description provides a convenient illustration for implementing exemplary embodiments of the invention. Various changes to the described embodiments may be made in the function and arrangement of the elements described without departing from the scope of the invention as set forth in the appended claims.
- Referring to
FIGS. 1 and 2 , there is shown a press-button type multi-stage winding mechanism comprising a top cover 1, abutton 2, a spiral spring 3, a sliding disc 4,wire 5, awinding disc 6, abottom disc 7 and abottom cover 8. The spiral spring 3 is placed within theedge seat 41 of the sliding disc 4, and thecenter shaft 71 of thebottom disc 7 is provided with athrough hole 42, and theinner end 31 of the spiral spring 3 is secured at thecenter shaft 71 of the bottom disc. The outer end of the spiral spring 3 is ahook section 32 engaged at the inner wall of aclipping plate 411 of theedge seat 41 of the sliding disc such that theinner end 31 and thehook section 32 are respectively restricted by thebottom disc 7 and the sliding disc 4. Thus, no matter the sliding disc 4 rotates in a positive or a negative direction, the spiral spring 3 can be urged to a tightening or a releasing state. - The sliding disc 4 and the
winding disc 6 are connected and thecenter shaft 71 passes through thewinding disc 6 to the sliding disc 4 for the engagement of the spiral spring 3. The space of theedge seat 41 is used for the holding of the spiral spring 3, and the external circumferential face of theedge seat 41 is provided with one or more than onepositioning block 43. The number of thepositioning blocks 43 will decide the location and the positioning distance of the windingdisc 6 at each rotation. Thus, the wire can be precisely controlled. - Referring to
FIGS. 2, 3 , 4, 5 and 8, thewinding disc 6 has a positive directionedge seat face 61 and a negativeedge seat face 62, wherein the positivedirection edge seat 61 is engaged by the plurality of theengaging button 612 on thewinding seat 611 and theengaging hole 44 of the sliding disc 4, and thepositive wire 5 surrounds the external circumferential face of thewinding seat 611 such that thepositive direction wire 5 is wound between the sliding disc 4 and thewinding disc 6. Next, thepositive direction wire 5 passes through the throughhole 613 of thewinding seat 611 to the negativedirection edge seat 62 and is wound at thefastening plate 614 of the reverse face of theedge seat 62, and then passes through the bottom slot 711 and is positioned by the bottomengaging slot 72 at thebottom disc 7 so that the end head is secured. Thus, the intersecting point of the positive direction wire and the negative direction wire is fastened such that when thepositive direction wire 5 is extended, thenegative direction wire 5 is not affected. Thus, a single pulling function of the wire is precisely achieved. - When the
positive direction wire 5 is pulled, thenegative direction wire 5 is at a releasing state. When thepositive direction wire 5 is restored to its original position, thenegative direction wire 5 is rotated tightly. Thepositive direction wire 5 is wound based on the windingseat 611, and thenegative direction wire 5 is wound based on thecenter shaft 71, wherein their rotating shaft direction of a winding are different, therefore the total length of thepositive direction wire 5 shall longer than thenegative direction wire 5. - As shown in
FIG. 6 , the positioning function is depending on the position of the sliding disc 4 and that of thebutton 2. Thebutton 2 is pivotally mounted at thepivot hole 21 on the top cover 1, and the front direction of the top cover 1 has a blockingplate 11 engaging aspring 111 so that thebutton 2 has a restoring. function by pressing thebutton 2. - An
urging rod 22 is provided at the front of thebutton 2 and the position is corresponding to thepositioning block 43 at the circumferential face of the sliding disc 4. As shown inFIG. 7 , when thebutton 2 is depressed, depending on the depressing force of thebutton 2, theurging rod 22 is slightly swung this will cause either a positioning function. or releasing from a positioned state. Thus, when thewinding disc 6 is pulled out in a clockwise direction, the relationship between theurging rod 22 and thepositioning block 43 is that the pushing away of theurging rod 22 will not cause a positioning state. When thewire 5 is pulled to a desired length and is then released, the action of the spiral spring 3 will cause thewinding disc 6 to rotate in a reverse direction. At this instance, theurging rod 22 of the button will urge thepositioning block 43 which is first restored back to the original direction. Thus, thiswire 5 is positioned. To allow the pulledwire 5 to return to its original position, thebutton 2 is depressed. This will cause theurging rod 22 to swing to release from at urging position and the windingdisc 6 will rotate to pull back thewire 5. In addition, while in the course by pulling thewire 5, thebutton 2 can be used to control precisely to subsequently wind the traction line. - It will be understood that each of the elements described above, or two or more together may also find a useful application in other types of methods differing from the type described above.
- While certain novel features of this invention have been shown and described and are pointed out in the annexed claim, it is not intended to be limited to the details above, since it will be understood that various omissions, modifications, substitutions and changes in the forms and details of the device illustrated and in its operation can be made by those skilled in the art without departing in any way from the spirit of the present invention.
Claims (3)
1. A press-button type multi-stage winding mechanism comprising a top cover, a button, a spiral spring, a sliding disc, traction line, a winding disc, a bottom disc, a bottom cover, wherein
the top cover has a block plate at the inner edge of the external side of the cover to secure the spring so as to pivotally mount to the button at the top cover,
the button is pivotally mounted at the inner edge of the top cover and the front of the button is extended to form an urging rod which is corresponding to the positioning block provided at the external edge of the sliding disc;
the spiral spring is positioned at the edge seat of the sliding disc and has an inner end fastened to the center shaft of the bottom disc, and has an external end mounted to the inner wall of a clip plate of the edge seat so that the spiral spring is restricted by the center shaft and the sliding disc;
the sliding disc is fastened to the winding disc and the top portion of the edge seat is for the urging of the spring, and the center shaft of the bottom disc is a through hole for the engagement with the inner edge of the spiral spring, and the external edge of the edge seat is one or at least one positioning block which is corresponding to the urging rod of the button;
the wire passes through the through hole of the winding disc and is led to the reverse direction edge seat so that the boundary of the wire is divided into a positive wire and a reverse direction wire which are respectively mounted onto the positive direction and reverse direction of the edge seat, and the positive and reverse direction wire of the boundary point are secured by a securing plate at the edge seat, and the reverse direction wire passes through the sot of the center shaft and is secured at the bottom slot so that the end of the reverse direction is a specific end head of the wire;
the winding disc has a positive direction edge seat face and a negative edge seat face, wherein the positive edge seat has an engaging button to engage with an engaging hole of the sliding disc, and the positive direction wire surrounds the external edge of the positive direction winding seat and passes through the through hole of the winding seat to the negative direction edge seat and winds at the engaging, plate on the negative edge seat for positioning;
the bottom disc has a center shaft having a bottom slot allowing the negative direction wire end to pass through and is positioned at the engaging slot of the bottom disc so that an end head is formed at the wire; and
the bottom center which is corresponding to the top cover to form a sealing and thus a winding mechanism is formed.
2. The winding mechanism of claim 1 , wherein the wire is wiring which is divided into a positive direction wire and a negative direction wire.
3. The winding mechanism of claim 1 , wherein the positive direction wire end is a connection conductive end or transmission connection end, and the negative direction wire end is connected to a connecting object.
