Abstract

The “Movable Work Table for Long-Arm Quilting Machines” provides a solid movable work area for a Long-Arm Quilting Machine. Designed and developed so that the operator can easily utilize the work surface when require and easily roll it to the side when the machine is quilting. The table provides a large stable work surface for the layout and dusting of the stencil design. Once the stencil design is dusted (or powdered) the table is rolled to the side allowing the operator an unobstructed view of the applied stencil design with the needle of the quilting machine.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • The “Movable Work Table for Long-Arm Quilting Machines” was developed and designed to provide a movable work surface for the operator of a Long-Arm Quilting Machine. The table is mounted on the tracks of the Long-Arm Quilting Machine providing a work surface for the layout and stenciling of the quilt pattern prior to the actual quilting. Once the pattern is applied to the fabric, the table easily rolls to the side providing a clear and unobstructed area for the Quilt Machine's needle.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION
  • The “Movable Work Table for Long-Arm Quilting Machines” was developed and designed to provide a large stable work area for Long-Arm Quilting Machines. It is comprised of a large flat work area, rectangular in shape, having rounded edges, supported by two long side rails. The side rails are supported by a front and rear connecting pieces aliening the four wheels riding on the tracks of the Long-Arm Quilting Machine.

Claims (1)

1) The “Movable Work Table for Long-Arm Quilting Machines” is a large stable rectangular work surface riding on four (4) wheels which run on the tracks of a Long-Arm Quilting Machine. It provides a movable work area allowing the operator the ability to apply a stencil design to the fabric and then roll the work surface out of the way allowing room to manipulate the machine's needle to follow the applied stenciled design.
