Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to an improved structure of a winding reel, and particularly to a winding reel adapted to assemble, convey and store up easily.
- 2. Description of the Prior Art
- Extension-core sockets have become very popular in daily life since they can timely solve the lack of sockets for power supply in common houses or working sites, especially when there is no socket available for indoor electronic appliances, bulbs hung on the tree, or workers in the outdoors. Therefore, the extension-cord sockets are very widely used. The convenience of the extension-cord sockets comes from the length of the power supply line is so long that the electric power can be introduce to anywhere in the outdoors. Although the longer power supply line provides significant convenience to use the electricity, it also causes the problems in collection and storage.
- In order to collect the power supply line easily, winding reels are proposed. Conventional winding reels are formed into a I-shaped reel, so that the power supply line can be wound on the reel. However, the conventional winding reels are not detachable and their volumes are large, it is not easy to move, store, manage and convey these winding reels.
- Therefore, in view of the above, the conventional winding reels still have some drawbacks, and really need to be improved.
- In view of the above problems in conventional winding reels, the inventor of the present invention thus employs his expert experiences in this field to propose an improved structure of the winding reel.
- The present invention is to provide an improved structure of the winding reel, wherein the winding reel can be divided into a first reel cover, a second reel cover and a rotating ring to reduce the total volume of the winding reel in conveying. When the winding reel is to be used, the user just needs to assemble it by himself.
- Another, the present invention is to provide an improved structure of the winding reel, wherein a rotating ring having a handle is pivotably connected to the joint between the first reel cover and the second reel cover, such that the user can hold the handle of the rotating ring to wind the power supply line.
- Accrodingly, the winding reel of the present invention comprises first and second reel covers each having a through hole in the center and a rotating ring, wherein a hollow positioning shaft is extended in the center of the first reel cover. The hollow positioning shaft is circumferentially provided with a flange adjacent to the wall face of the front end. The flange is provided with at least one fastening notch. An inner ring body and an outer ring body are extended in the center of the second reel cover. A pivoting notch is formed between the inner and outer ring bodies. At least an elastic fastener is extended from an upper end of the outer ring body. At least one elastic fastener is provided on the bottom end of the inner ring body. The positioning shaft of the first reel cover is connected to the outer ring body of the second reel cover such that the elastic fastener provided in the outer ring body of the second reel cover is fastened into the fastening notch provided on the flange of the first reel cover, and thus the first reel cover and the second reel cover can be firmly connected to each other without being easily separated. A handle is provided in the rotating ring. The rear end edge of the rotating ring is circumferentially provided with a stopping portion extending outwardly. The front end of the rotating ring is circumferentially provided with a fastening portion extending inwardly. The front end of the rotating ring is positioned into the pivoting notch of the second reel cover via the first reel cover, such that the fastening portion of the front end of the rotating ring can be fastened to the elastic fastener provided on the bottom end of the inner ring body of the second reel cover. The stopping portion on the rear end abuts against the flange of the first reel cover, such that the rotating ring cannot pass through the pivoting notch. As a result, the user can simply hold the handle of the rotating ring to twirl the first reel cover and the second reel cover, and thus achieve the winding of the power supply line.
- These features and advantages of the present invention will be fully understood and appreciated from the following detailed description of the accompanying drawings.
-
FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view of the winding reel of the present invention; -
FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of the winding reel of the present invention; -

FIGS. 4A and 4B are schematic views showing the operation of the winding reel of the present invention. - With reference to FIGS. 1 to 3, the winding reel of the present invention mainly comprises the following members.
- A
first reel cover 1 is provided. A throughhole 11 is provided in the center of thefirst reel cover 1. A plurality ofopenings 12 are circumferentially provided on the first reel cover. Eachopening 12 is provided with afastening hole 121 in its edge for positioning a power supply line. Ahollow positioning shaft 13 is extended from thethrough hole 11 of thefirst reel cover 12. Thehollow positioning shaft 13 is circumferentially provided with aflange 14 adjacent to a wall face of the front end. At least onefastening notch 15 is provided on theflange 14, and at least onepositioning column 16 is extended from the front end of thehollow positioning shaft 13. - A
second reel cover 2 is provided. A throughhole 21 is provided in the center of thesecond reel cover 2. A plurality ofopenings 22 are circumferentially provided on the second reel cover. Eachopening 22 is provided with afastening hole 221 in its edge for positioning a power supply line. A grip 3 is connected to the outer surface of thesecond reel cover 2. Aninner ring body 24 and anouter ring body 23 are extended from the throughhole 21 of thesecond reel cover 2. A pivotingnotch 25 is provided between theinner ring body 24 and theouter ring body 23. The upper end of theouter ring body 23 is provided with at least oneelastic fastener 231 and onepositioning hole 232, and the bottom end of theinner ring body 24 is provided with at least oneelastic fastener 241. By connecting thepositioning column 16 provided on the end edge of thepositioning shaft 13 of thefirst reel cover 1 to thepositioning hole 232 provided on theouter ring body 23 of thesecond reel cover 2, theelastic fastener 232 provided on theouter ring body 23 of thesecond reel cover 2 will be fastened to the fasteningnotch 15 provided on theflange 14 of thefirst reel cover 1. Thus, thefirst reel cover 1 and thesecond reel cover 2 are firmly connected to each other without being easily separated. - A rotating
ring 4 is provided. Ahandle 41 is provided in the rotatingring 4. A stoppingportion 42 is extended from the rear end edge of the rotatingring 4, and afastening portion 43 is circumferentially provided on the front end. - By inserting the rotating

At this time, the stoppingportion 42 on the rear end abuts against theflange 14 of thefirst reel cover 1, such that the rotatingring 4 cannot pass through the pivotingnotch 25 but only can be pivotably connected to the pivotingnotch 25 to rotate therein. Thus, the user can hold thehandle 41 of the rotatingring 4 to simultaneously twirl thefirst reel cover 1 and the second reel cover. - With reference to
FIGS. 4A and 4B , both views schematically show the operation of the present invention. When the user intends to wind thepower supply line 5, he needs to hold thehandle 41 of therotating ring 4 by one hand, fasten one end of thepower supply line 5 to thefastening hole 221 of thesecond reel cover 2, and hold the grip 3 by the other hand. By twirling thesecond reel cover 2 with the grip 3 to drive thefirst reel cover 1, thepower supply line 5 is gradually wound on thepositioning shaft 13 of thefirst reel cover 1 and theouter ring body 23 of thesecond reel cover 2 under the rotation of thefirst reel cover 1 and thesecond reel cover 2. When thepower supply line 5 has completely wound, the other end thereof can be fastened to thefastening hole 121 of thefirst wheel 1, thereby to achieve the winding of thepower supply line 5. Of course, the user can fasten thepower supply line 5 to thefastening hole 121 of thefirst reel cover 1. Such operation can also achieve the winding. - In comparison with conventional arts, the winding reel of the present invention has advantages as follows:
- 1. The winding reel of the present invention can be separated into three members, i.e. the first reel cover, the second reel cover and the rotating ring. Thus, the total volume for conveying, storing and managing the winding reels is reduced, causing the easiness in conveyance, storage and management. When the user intends to use it, he can finish the assembly of the winding reel by himself. As the result, the object of easy assembly is achieved.
- 2. In the present invention, a rotating ring having a handle is pivotably connected to the joint between the first reel cover and the second reel cover, such that the user can hold the handle of the rotating ring to quickly wind the power supply line.
- Many changes and modifications in the abovementioned embodiment of the present invention can, of course, be carried out without departing from the scope thereof. Accordingly, to promote the progress in science and useful arts, the present invention is disclosed and is intended to be limited only by the scope of the appended claims.
