Abstract
Many working people today, can't afford the costly gym memberships, or who are self-conscious of exercising in front of others and live on a strict budget, and may only have the propensity to invest maybe once or twice in exercise equipment. If there were a compact, durable tool, which could be used immediately, people would take advantage of such an opportunity. The “WING-T” exercise tool provides the convenience of instant usage, affordability and portability (fits inside your gym bag, your purse, the trunk of your car or anywhere inside your home or apartment) ready to use in seconds. A person can perform: sit-ups, arm curls, arm extensions, wrist exercises, leg raises, abdominal-calf-buttock workouts and, with one exercise tool, the “WING-T”. In direct comparison to other exercise equipment, the “WING-T” can also be used in conjunction with other standard weights, for the person who has everything.

- The “Wing-T” is an invention, which allows me to execute my daily sit-ups, leg raises, arm-lifts without the expensive cost of buying additional “Dumbbells” (for arm raises), “Sit-ups Workout Benches” (for your leg raises), or having to use an extra person, to hold down your feet to perform sit-ups. The “Wing-T”, can utilize standard weights, sold everywhere, on its adjustable base, to deliver a good resistance workout. It's lightweight, and can fit into your briefcase, gym bag or even, your purse for use anywhere and anytime.
- The “Front View” (1-3), shows the Cross Bar Tee-handle of the “Wing-T” with the center post, inserted inside of the upright base plate center tube. Both inserted tubes have drilled holes to align the height adjustments (the invisible line shows the position of the optional weight(s) that may be used, for resistance workouts).
- The “Side View” (2-3), shows the “Wing-T” sitting on its base plate/stand, with the adjustment fastener inserted through the height adjustment holes. The ball-shaped threaded fastener, screws onto the threaded portion of the fastener, to secure the top Cross Bar Tee-handle to the upright tube on the base plate/stand and secures the weight(s) below the fastener. The very loose marked hatching, constitutes a stronger material (metallic, plastic/ceramic, wood). The very close marked hatching, constitutes a “Foam (type Cushing) Rubber Wrap”.
- The “Top View” (3-3), shows the “Wing-T” looking downwards over the cut away view of the “Foam Rubber (type Cushing) wrapped, Cross Bar T-handle, viewing the ball-shaped fasteners securing the two halves of the “Wing-T”. The base plate/stand is the large circle below the fastener.
- The “WING-T”, is an Exercise Tool which can be used to hook your feet to, under the “T-Handle”, as an anchor, for: sit-ups, as an anchor to hold on to the “T-Handle”, for leg raises, using both hands to perform weighted arm curls, etc., and so on. The tool is lightweight, and can fit inside of a purse, gym-bag, trunk of your car, or inside of your briefcase, for on the go usage.
Claims (3)
1.) The “WING-T” is constructed of aluminum, wood, steel or plastics, rapped with a foam/rubberized padding (to resist the hard surface(s) contact and/or to prevent injury) made from two primary stock sizes of aluminum alloys tubing. It has a large, circular aluminum alloys base plate for free standing stabilization. The smaller tubing's outside diameter slides inside of the larger tube's inside diameter. The larger tubing is cut to specifications as an upright, welded to the center of the circular base. The second piece of larger tubing is used as the top crossbar, of the “WING-T” handle, with the smaller diameter tubing, welded perpendicularly, to the center of the “WING-T” handle.
2.) The adjustment holes are drilled through both the smaller diameter tube (which is welded to the T-Handle) and the larger upright base tube, after its insertion inside of the larger upright base welded tube. [All specifications are according to the drawings.]
3.) The primary adjustment is a “Fastener” (threaded bolt retainer, with a Ball-Shape on each end) sliding through a series of aligned, adjustment holes, with a large nut attachment, serving as a weight-retainer/height-adjuster. When the “Fastener” is removed, any standard-sized weight(s) with a center hole large enough to slide over the upright tube on the base plate, can be used. The “T-Shaped Handle”, then can be inserted back inside of the upright tube on the base plate, to secure the weights. If the “Fastener” fits, this insures that the owner/user hasn't overloaded the structure, for safety reasons.
