Description
- A stroller is a vehicle with wheels in which a child is moved around. It allows the parents comfort of carrying their children. This invention is an innovative improvement over the existing strollers to increase comfort level and provide protection from harsh environmental influences such as UV radiation or toxic gases.
- The stroller is equipped with air-conditioning equipment and ventilation with the child housed open or within a protective cover. The protective cover obstructs the child from harmful Ultraviolet radiation, provides glare protection to the eyes, protects the child from toxic gases and aids in maintaining a temperature-controlled environment within the stroller.
- The air conditioned stroller is composed of four components
-
- 1) The basic stroller structure
- 2) Protective Cover
- 3) Air Conditioning Equipment
- 4) Power Sources
- 1) The Basic Stroller Structure
- This is an existing and comfortable structure that allows the child/person to be moved around.
- 2) Protective Cover
- The protective cover is a thin flexible transparent material that covers the front part of the stroller sealing the air within the stroller. The uses of the protective cover are
-
- a) Protection from intentional (threats) and unintentional toxic gases in the atmosphere.
- b) UV protection to protect the child from harmful effects such as cancer.
- c) Glare protection for eyes.
- 3) Air Conditioning Equipment
- The air conditioning equipment is designed to condition for the capacity of the stroller. It has inbuilt ventilation. The temperature of the stroller is controlled using a simple control loop with the temperature normally set to ergonomic requirements. The temperature is sensed and given to the control loop that operates the airconditioning equipment. The options for the air conditioning equipment are either the conventional air conditioners or the non-conventional types.
- The non-conventional type will have a housing to contain hot or cold water/ice along with a fan to circulate the desired temperature into the stroller.
- 4) Power Sources
- Power to drive the air conditioning equipment is provided from:
-
- 1. Energy generated from stroller wheel rotation
- 2. Solar Cell
- 3. Rechargeable Batteries
Claims (2)
1- I claim the use of air-conditioning arrangement in strollers.
2- I claim the use of the stroller structure with protective cover for UV, Glare Protection, as a Seal from Toxic Gases and as an aid for air conditioning.
