Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of Invention [0001]
  • This invention pertains generally to the art of decorative covers for the blades of ceiling fans, and more specifically it is to improved design to attach such a cover to the fan blade. [0002]
  • 2. Description of the Related Art [0003]
  • In the past, fan blade covers for ceiling fan blades have been unnecessarily complicated to assemble and costly to produce because irregular-shaped patterns were used in the assembly process. Further, covers for other types of articles such as sporting equipment and vehicles all employ the use of complex patterns that require greater time and cost in the assembly process. The applicant recognized the need for a low cost ceiling fan blade cover produced from a simple pattern. The present invention contemplates a new and improved ceiling fan blade cover which is simple in design, effective in use, and overcomes the foregoing difficulties and others while providing better and more advantageous overall results. [0004]
  • BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • In accordance with the present invention, a new and improved fan blade cover is provided which protects the fan blades of ceiling fans. More particularly, in accordance with the present invention, the fan blade cover for a fan blade of a ceiling fan and which the fan blade is connected to a fan housing by a fan stem, the fan blade cover the main body having an top and inside an outside edge, the top being folded down and sealed, to creating a passage; an draw-string, the draw-string being threaded through the passage and sealed, sealed means the sealed is attached to the edge of the cover, pulling the draw-string close to the bracket to fix the fan blade, the outside is attached to the inside edge, the outside and inside edge is sealed. [0005]
  • CONTINUE: BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • According to another aspect of the invention, a method of constructing a fan blade for a fan blade of a ceiling fan comprising the step of; use of hook and loop to ease the process of using the ceiling fan cover by making installation simple. [0006]
  • One advantage of the present invention is its use of a simple pattern for the ceiling fan blade cover. [0007]
  • Another advantage of the present invention is no assemble required. [0008]
  • Another advantage of the present invention is its low cost to produce. [0009]
  • Another advantage of the present invention is its ability to come in many colors and shapes. [0010]
  • Another advantage of the present invention is the ability to slide on easily and slide off easily, cover the ceiling fan blade with the cover. [0011]
  • Another advantage of the present invention is the Draw-string, to pull the string tight around the bracket. [0012]
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SEVERAL VIEW OF THE DRAWING
  • The invention may take physical form in certain parts and arrangements of parts. A preferred embodiment of these parts will be assemble and illustrated in the accompanying drawings, which form a part of this disclosure and wherein: [0013]
  • FIG. 1 shows an unassembled ceiling fan blade cover open. [0014]
  • FIG. 2 shows a top fold for the draw-string. [0015]
  • FIG. 3 shows a passage for the draw-string. [0016]
  • FIG. 4 shows [0017] body 1 and 2 fold and sealed around edge.
  • FIG. 5 shows finish product of the ceiling fan cover. [0018]
  • FIG. 6. shows the cover, coving a ceiling fan blade. [0019]
  • CONTINUE: BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SEVERAL VIEW OF THE DRAWING
  • FIG. 2 Shows a top-view of the assembled ceiling fan blade cover, [0020] open body 1 and 2. a drawstring preferable made of “elastic” are attached to the main body to secured to the ceiling fan blade. There are only two material required. Plastic and Drawstring.
  • FIG. 3 Shows a cover, coving a ceiling fan blade, around the top outer edge drawstring is attached to ensure that the cover will not fall off of the ceiling fan blade once it in motions. [0021]
  • FIG. 4 Shows side are sealed to the top and around the edge. [0022]
  • FIG. 5 Shows the assemble product. [0023]
  • FIG. 6 Shows cover slide onto the blade. [0024]
  • Having thru described the invention, it is now claimed: [0025]
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • The invention has been described with reference to the preferred embodiment, obviously, modification and alterations will occur to others upon a reading and understanding of the specification. It is intended by the applicant to include all such modifications and alterations insofar as they come within the scope of the appended claims or equivalents thereof. [0026]
  • There are four different shapes ceiling fan covers. [0027]
  • 1. One round edge-shape: There are seven different measurement for one around edge-shape. [0028]
  • 2. Three round edge-shape: Seven different measurement for Three round edge-shape. [0029]
  • 3. Thin square edge-shape: Seven different measurement for Thin square edge-shape. [0030]
  • 4. Wide square edge-shape. There are seven different measurement for Wide square edge-shape. [0031]
  • Referring now to the drawings, FIG. 1 Shows the round edge-shape pattern of the cover, the open [0032] 1 and 2: The open 1 and 2 main body. The open body of 1 and 2 has an outer edge. 1 is connected to 2 which is the main body. The measurement: 7½″×20″. Colors: White+assorted colors & clear. Material: plastic & elastic. To use the cover: The cover has one open end, large either to allow the cover to slide onto the blades and removed from the same open end.
