Abstract
An exhaust containment system comprised of a collection vessel, filter, compressor and storage vessel with a valve is described. Exhaust cools (if necessary) in the collection vessel. The filter removes particulate matter and exhaust is then compressed into the storage vessel to be recycled. This system reduces exhaust released into the environment.
Description
- This application claims benefit of U.S. provisional patent serial No. 60/440,677, filed on January 18th, 2003.
- 1. Field of Invention
- This invention relates to a system for collecting, filtering, compressing and storing exhausts.
- 2. Description of Prior Art
- One reference was found relating to exhaust processing. U.S. Pat. No. 6,393,836 (Haung, Ta-wei) Describes a treatment device for exhaust of a vehicle. The invention herein described contains filtered exhaust by compressing and storing for recycling.
- In the drawings FIG. 1 shows a schematic of the system.
- 10. Exhaust inlet
- 12. Collection vessel
- 14. Filter
- 16. Compressor
- 18. Storage Vessel
- 20. Exhaust outlet valve
- In according with the present invention a system collects, filters, compresses and stores exhaust for recycling.
- Description—FIG. 1: FIG. 1 shows a schematic of the exhaust containment system. 10 is the exhaust inlet, 12 is the collection vessel, 14 the filter, 16 the compressor, 18 the storage vessel and 20 the outlet valve for stored exhaust.
- Operation—Main Embodiment: The figure describes the invention of an exhaust containment system comprised of an
exhaust inlet 10, acollection vessel 12, afilter 14, acompressor 16, astorage vessel 18, and anoutlet 20 valve for stored exhaust. Exhaust enters at 10, collects in 12, is filtered at 14, compressed by 16, stored in 18, and recycled throughoutlet valve 20. - Conclusions, Ramifications, and Scope: The invention described herein relates to exhaust containment. A system is described that collects, filters, compresses and stores exhaust. Stored exhausts are recycled thus reducing environmental impact. The embodiments described herein are not intended to limit the scope and application of this invention.
