Abstract
A portable electric-powered tool is disclosed. The tool has one end of the holding body is formed into a recessed insertion hole having two internal sides corresponding to an inner edge face being disposed with an engaging stripe, the stripe is provided with a conductive plate for connection with the battery module in the course of inserting the tool connector, the ring face of the tool connector is easily positioned by engaging with the insertion hole and a copper plate connection point at the bottom of the insertion hole.
Description
- (a) Technical Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a portable electric-powered tool, and in particular, to a tool having an independent tool connector and a holding body.
- (b) Description of the Prior Art
- Referring to FIGS. 5 and 6, there is shown a conventional portable electric-powered tool having a folding head design. The end of the two sides of the
tool connector 30 is extended to form apivot plate 31 for the pivotal mounting by apivot axle 32 with respect to theholding body 33. The tool head can be adjusted in accordance with the required position and angle. However, these parts are integrally formed with the tool as the essential components of the tool. These components cannot be separated for use with a different tool connector and cannot be applied to adifferent tool connector 30 with thesame holding body 33. Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a portable electric-powered tool which mitigates the above drawbacks. - It is an object of the present invention to provide a portable electric-powered tool having a holding body containing a battery module, a press switch, and a tool connector, wherein one end of the holding body is formed into a recessed insertion hole having two internal sides corresponding to an inner edge face being disposed with an engaging stripe, the stripe is provided with a conductive plate for connection with the battery module in the course of inserting the tool connector, the ring face of the tool connector is easily positioned by engaging with the insertion hole and a copper plate connection point at the bottom of the insertion hole.
- Yet another object of the present invention is to provide a portable electric-powered tool, wherein the tool connector is flexible to be replaced so that the cost of purchasing the essential components of the tool is greatly reduced.
- A further object of the present invention is to provide a portable electric-powered tool, wherein the tool connector is a mounting for a bi-directional tool.
- A further object of the present invention is to provide a portable electric-powered tool, wherein the inner edge of the extended side end of the insertion hole is a protruded engaging edge which is perpendicular to the stripe.
- The foregoing object and summary provide only a brief introduction to the present invention. To fully appreciate these and other objects of the present invention as well as the invention itself, all of which will become apparent to those skilled in the art, the following detailed description of the invention and the claims should be read in conjunction with the accompanying drawings. Throughout the specification and drawings identical reference numerals refer to identical or similar parts.
- Many other advantages and features of the present invention will become manifest to those versed in the art upon making reference to the detailed description and the accompanying sheets of drawings in which a preferred structural embodiment incorporating the principles of the present invention is shown by way of illustrative example.
- FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view of the portable electric-powered tool of the present invention.
- FIG. 2 is a plan view of the electric-powered tool of the present invention.
- FIG. 3 is an implementation of a preferred embodiment of the electric-powered tool of the present invention.
- FIG. 4 is another preferred embodiment of the present invention.
- FIG. 5 is a perspective view of a conventional tool.
- FIG. 6 is a plan view of a conventional electric-powered tool.
- The following descriptions are of exemplary embodiments only, and are not intended to limit the scope, applicability or configuration of the invention in any way Rather, the following description provides a convenient illustration for implementing exemplary embodiments of the invention. Various changes to the described embodiments may be made in the function and arrangement of the elements described without departing from the scope of the invention as set forth in the appended claims.
- Referring to FIGS. 1 to 4, there is shown an electric-powered tool having a
body 10 comprising two hollow housings. One end of thebody 10 is formed into arecessed insertion hole 11 and the hollow interior of thebody 10 is provided with adirectional switch 12 at the top edge thereof for triggering the clockwise or counter clockwise rotation of the tool. The hollow interior of theholding body 10 is also provided with abattery module 13 as a power source supply. Thebattery module 13 is directly placed within the internal bottom portion, and corresponding to the lower edge of the handle of the tool, astart switch 14 is provided, facilitating to control of the tool by pressing to connect to the current supply. A battery-charging seat 15 which is connected to thebattery module 13 is provided at the upper elbow junction of the tool so that external current is used as a source for charging batteries. - The interior of the
insertion hole 11, corresponding to the inner edge, anengaging stripe 16 is provided, and aconductive plate 17 is formed at thestripe 16 to connect the power source wire to thebattery module 13. The inner edge of the two sides of theinsertion hole 11 is provided with theprotruded stripe 16 perpendicular to anengaging edge 18 for the mounting of thestripe 16 so as to stabilize the positioning of thetool connector 20, supplementing the safety in the course of fabrication process of tools. - The
tool connector 20 is an elongated tubular body and has a substantially conic shape facilitating the insertably with theinsertion hole 11. The hollow interior is provided for the mounting of atransmission motor 21 having transmission gears at the sides thereof The two end sides of thetool connectors 21 are mounted with a power output facilitating installation of fabricatingtool 22, such as a drill, screw driver, etc. - The two ends can be mounted with
different tools 22 for different application options. In order to facilitate the insertion of thetool connector 22 with theinsertion hole 11 of theholding body 10, the interior of theinsertion slot 11, corresponding to theprotruded stripe 16, at the external ring face of thetool connector 20, arecessed insertion slot 23 is provided, such that the connection wire of themotor 21 is connected to thecopper connection point 24 at the bottom center of theinsertion slot 23 to provide operation, such that when thetool connector 20 is inserted with theprotruded stripe 16, thetool connector 20 can be safely use. The protrudedengaging edge 18 can be engaged with theslot 25 to ensure thetool connector 20 and thebody 10 being connected. The controlling of theswitch 14 allows the tool to be operated. - In accordance with the present invention, the easy insertion of the
tool connector 20 allows the entire tool structure to be able to replace some components if it is required. - It will be understood that each of the elements described above, or two or more together may also find a useful application in other types of methods differing from the type described above.
- While certain novel features of this invention have been shown and described and are pointed out in the annexed claim, it is not intended to be limited to the details above, since it will be understood that various omissions, modifications, substitutions and changes in the forms and details of the device illustrated and in its operation can be made by those skilled in the art without departing in any way from the spirit of the present invention.
Claims (4)
1. A portable electric-powered tool having a holding body containing a battery module, a press switch therein and a tool connector for incorporating a fabricating tool, characterized in that one end of the holding body is formed into a recessed insertion hole having two internal sides corresponding to an inner edge face being disposed with an engaging stripe, the stripe is provided with a conductive plate for connection with the battery module in the course of inserting the tool connector, the ring face of the tool connector is easily positioned by engaging with the insertion hole and a copper plate connection point at the bottom of the insertion hole.
2. The portable electric-powered tool of claim 1 , wherein the tool connector is a mounting for a bi-directional tool.
3. The portable electric-powered tool of claim 1 , wherein the inner edge of the extended side end of the insertion hole is a protruded engaging edge which is perpendicular to the stripe.
4. The portable electric-powered tool of claim 1 , wherein the two ends of the insertion hole are provided with a vertical recessed slot for the inserted tool connector to perform an auxiliary engagement.
