Abstract

An automatic cleaning device for a kitchen ventilator of the present invention comprises a kitchen ventilator having a fan defined inside of a fan housing, and below the fan housing, a grease guiding tray is located there at an inlet port. A spray nozzle is located opposite the fan and mounted on the grease guiding tray. The spray nozzle is connected to a spraying pump device so as to spray detergent on the fan from below.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention [0001]
  • The present invention relates to an automatic cleaning device, and more particularly to an automatic cleaning device for a kitchen ventilator, which is capable of improving work efficiency. [0002]
  • 2. Description of the Prior Arts [0003]
  • Generally, a conventional automatic cleaning device for a kitchen ventilator cleans the ventilator by spraying detergent on a side edge of the fans, despite this device is rather effective, it still has some disadvantages in real operation, which is described in connection with corresponding drawing as follows: [0004]
  • Referring to FIG. 1, wherein a conventional automatic cleaning device for a kitchen ventilator generally comprises a [0005] kitchen ventilator 10 having a fan 12 defined inside of a fan housing 11, a spray nozzle 13, which is corresponding to the side edge of the fan 12, is set at a side of the fan housing 11.
  • Due to the conventional automatic cleaning device for a kitchen ventilator has the [0006] spray nozzle 13 defined at the side of the fan housing 11 of the kitchen ventilator 10, the detergent can only be sprayed on the edge of the fan 12, so the whole surface of the fan 12 can not be thoroughly cleaned; in addition, due to the detergent is sprayed by the spray nozzle 13 from the side edge of the fan 12, it will fall from the inlet port 14 of the ventilator 10 and cause inconveniences.
  • The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages of the conventional automatic cleaning device for a kitchen ventilator. [0007]
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The primary object of the prevent invention is to provide a automatic cleaning device for a kitchen ventilator which is able to spray the detergent from below of the fan so that the fan can be cleaned completely. [0008]
  • The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings, which shows, for purpose of illustrations only, the preferred embodiments in accordance with the present invention.[0009]
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • Referring to FIG. 2, wherein a automatic cleaning device for a kitchen ventilator of the present invention comprises a [0018] kitchen ventilator 20 having a fan 22 defined inside of a fan housing 21, and below the fan housing 21, a grease guiding tray 30 is located there at an inlet port 23.
  • A [0019] spray nozzle 31 corresponding to the fan 22 is mounted on the grease guiding tray 30, which is connected to a spraying pump device 40 so as to spray detergent to the fan 22 from the below.
  • Due to the [0020] spray nozzle 31 mounted on the grease guiding tray 30 is located below the fan 22, the detergent will be sprayed to the fan 22 along the direction where the soot is sucked, and by virtue of the centrifugal force generated from the rotation of the fan 22, the detergent will flow inwardly from the outer edge of the fan 22 such that the fan 22 can be thoroughly and effectively cleaned.
  • Referring now to FIG. 3, at an inlet port of the [0021] grease guiding tray 30 of the present invention is defined with a hood 24 in a manner of extending downwardly, the spray nozzle 31 on the guiding tray 30 is set at an inner edge of the hood 24 with the spray nozzle 31 corresponding to the fan 22 so as to spray detergent to the fan 22 from the below; in addition, referring next to FIG. 4, wherein, the spray nozzle 31 of the present invention also can be set at an outer edge of the inlet port 51 of an axial fan 50 so that the spray nozzle 31 is able to spray detergent on the fan 52 of the axial fan 50 to clean it with high efficiency.
  • Referring to FIG. 5, wherein the [0022] spraying pump device 40 according to the present invention comprises a case 41 and a filter member 42; the case 41 is positioned in the fan housing and interiorly defined with two opposite guiding tracks 411, such that the case 41 is divided into a first space 412 and a second space 413 by the filter member 42, the second space 413 of the case 41 has a tilting recess 414 formed at a bottom thereof in a manner of slanting downward and an outlet 415 formed at a sidewall of the same, the outlet 415 is located at the lowest portion of the tilting recess 414 and equipped with a pump 416; the first space 412 of the case 41 has a water inlet 417 and a detergent inlet 418 respectively formed at a top surface thereof; the filter member 42 (may be fuel filter screen, non-woven fabrics and the like) has many meshes formed thereof for liquid passing through and is defined between the guiding tracks 411 of the case 41.
  • Referring to FIG. 6, the [0023] grease guiding tray 30 of the present invention has an inner ring 32, a middle ring 33 and an outer ring 34, in turn, formed outwardly from the center, the inner ring 32 and the middle ring 33 define an inner recess 321 while the outer ring 34 and the middle ring 33 confine an outer recess 331 therebetween, four mounting portion 322 are formed at an inner edge of the inner ring 32 with equally space apart and an annular flange 323 is formed at a top edge of the same, a guiding ring 324 mounted onto the annular flange 323, the guiding ring 324 comprises a guiding surface 325 and an annular dent 326, the guiding surface 325 is slantingly set in the inner recess 321 and the annular dent 326 is to be covered onto the annular flange 323, besides, four ear portions 327 are equal space apart formed on the annular dent 326, which are corresponding to the four mounting portion 322 of the inner ring 32, such that the grease guiding tray 30 is fixed inside of the fan housing 21 of the ventilator 20; the height of the middle ring 33 is great than that of the inner ring 32 and the outer ring 34, five gaps 332 are formed on the middle ring 33 such that the inner recess 321 and outer recess 331 are connected, at the four of the five gaps 332 are each formed with a plate 333, the plates 333 are defined in the inner recess 321 each having an end integrally formed in connecting with the middle ring 33, the height of the plates 333 is minor than that of the inner ring 32.
  • Referring to FIG. 7, in accordance with the present invention the [0024] grease guiding tray 30 can be in the form of another grease guiding tray 60, the grease guiding tray 60 has an inner ring 61 and an outer ring 62 confining a recess 63 and a wall 64 is formed therebetween in order to properly space the recess 63 apart, a tube 65 is located in the lowest portion of the recess 63 to connect outside, such that the grease collected in the recess 63 can be guided into the grease cup 70.
  • Referring now to FIG. 8, the grease cup [0025] 70 of the present invention comprises a box 71, stopping members 72 and hangers 73. The box 71 interiorly defines a space 711 with a predetermined depth. The stopping members 72 each has a prop 721 and four plates 722. The props 721 each has a threaded hole 723 formed at an end thereof. The four plates 722 are respectively in trapezoid with upwardly tapering off and four of them are integrally formed around the prop 721, such that the stopping members 72 are each crossed in cross section. The two stopping members 72 are integrally formed in the space 711 of the box 71 with equal space apart, the height of the plates 722 are minor than the predetermined depth of the space 711 of the box 71 and the plates 722 are each space apart from the sides of the 71 box. The two hangers 73 each has a head portion 731 respectively formed with a body portion 732, each of the body portions 732 on the head portions 731 of the hangers 73 is partially threaded corresponding to the thread holes 723 of the stopping members 72. The hangers 73 are respectively screwed in the thread holes 723 of the stopping members 72 and the height of the body portions 732 is higher than the predetermined depth of the box 71.
  • It should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. [0026]

Claims (7)

What is claimed is:
1. An automatic cleaning device for a kitchen ventilator comprising a kitchen ventilator having a fan defined inside of a fan housing, and below the fan housing, a grease guiding tray being located at an inlet port, wherein:
A spray nozzle is located opposite the fan and mounted on the grease guiding tray, the spray nozzle is connected to a spraying pump device for spraying detergent on the fan from below.
2. The automatic cleaning device for a kitchen ventilator as claimed in claim 1, wherein the spraying nozzle is mounted to an inner edge of the hood of the grease guiding tray.
3. The automatic cleaning device for a kitchen ventilator as claimed in claim 1, wherein the spraying nozzle is mounted to the outer edge of an inlet port of an axial fan, and is located opposite the axial fan.
4. The automatic cleaning device for a kitchen ventilator as claimed in claim 1, wherein the spraying pump device comprises a case and a filter member;
the case is interiorly defined with two opposite guiding tracks, whereby the case is divided into a first space and a second space by the filter member, a tilting recess is formed at a bottom of the second space of the case in a manner of slanting downward and an outlet is formed at a sidewall of the same, the outlet is located at the lowest portion of the tilting recess and equipped with a pump; a water inlet and a detergent inlet are respectively formed at a top surface of the first space of the case;
the filter member has meshes formed thereof for liquid passing therethrough and located between the guiding tracks of the case.

The automatic cleaning device for a kitchen ventilator as claimed in claim 1, wherein the grease guiding tray has an inner ring, a middle ring and an outer ring, in turn, formed outwardly from the center, the inner ring and the middle ring defines an inner recess while the outer ring and the middle ring define an outer recess therebetween, an annular flange is formed at an upper edge of the inner ring, a guiding ring is mounted onto the annular flange, the guiding ring has a guiding surface slantingly set in the inner recess, the middle ring has a plurality of gaps formed thereon whereto connect the inner recess and out recess, a plate is formed at each of the gaps and the plates are formed in the inner recess.

The automatic cleaning device for a kitchen ventilator as claimed in claim 1, wherein a grease guiding tray has an inner ring and an outer ring confining a recess and a wall is formed therebetween whereto properly space the recess apart, a tube is located in the lowest portion of the recess in connecting outside whereby the grease collected in the recess can be guided into the grease cup.
7. The automatic cleaning device for a kitchen ventilator as claimed in claim 4, wherein the grease cup comprises a box, stopping members and hangers;
the box interiorly defines a space with a predetermined depth; the stopping members each has a prop and a plurality of plates, the props each has a threaded hole formed at an end thereof, the four plates are integrally formed around the prop;
the stopping members are integrally formed in the space of the box, each of the plates is space apart from the sides of the box;
the hangers each has a head portion respectively formed with a body portion, each of the body portion on the head portion of the hangers is partially threaded which corresponding to the threaded hole of the stopping members; the hangers are respectively screwed in the threaded holes of the stopping members and the height of the body portions is higher than the predetermined depth of the box.
