Abstract

A carrying case device includes a casing having a zipper member attached to the front portion, a wheel device attached to the bottom portion, and a retractable handle secured in the inner portion of the casing and extendible outwardly through the upper portion of the casing. A bag includes a rear portion having a zipper member engageable with the zipper member of the casing, for detachably securing the bag to the casing. The bag is engageable onto the casing and attachable to the retractable handle when the bag is disengaged from the front portion of the casing.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention [0001]
  • The present invention relates to a carrying case assembly, and more particularly to a carrying case assembly having a detachable bag. [0002]
  • 2. Description of the Prior Art [0003]
  • Typical carrying cases comprise a retractable handle device attached to a bag for carrying purposes. The bag includes a one-piece integral structure, and may not be detachably secured to the retractable handle device. [0004]
  • The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages of the conventional carrying cases. [0005]
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a carrying case assembly including a detachable bag detachably secured to a casing and a retractable handle device, for receiving much more objects. [0006]
  • The other objective of the present invention is to provide a carrying case assembly including a detachable bag which is attachable onto the casing and the retractable handle device, for allowing the bag and the casing to be easily moved or carried by the users. [0007]
  • In accordance with one aspect of the invention, there is provided a carrying case assembly comprising a casing including an inner portion, and a front portion having a first zipper member attached thereto, and an upper portion, and a bottom portion having a wheel device attached thereto, a retractable handle secured in the inner portion of the casing, and extendible outwardly through the upper portion of the casing, and a bag including a rear portion having a second zipper member attached thereto and engageable with the first zipper member, for detachably securing the bag to the front portion of the casing. The bag is engageable onto the upper portion of the casing and attachable to the retractable handle when the bag is disengaged from the front portion of the casing. [0008]
  • The casing includes a front panel receivable in the casing and extendible outwardly of the casing for expanding the casing, a third zipper member attached to the casing and the front panel for openably securing the front panel to the casing, a board received in the casing and engageable onto bottom of the casing when the front panel is opened and extended forwardly from the front portion of the casing, and a fastener for securing the board to the bottom of the casing.   • The casing includes a rear portion having a flap received therein, and movable outwardly from the rear portion of the casing for partially shielding the wheel device, and a fastener for securing the flap to the rear portion of the casing. The flap may prevent the wheel device from being contacted with the users and from contaminating or dirtying the users. [0010]
  • One or more fastener belts may further be provided and attached to the casing, for carrying the casing, or for allowing the carrying case assembly to be easily carried by the users. [0011]
  • The bag includes two sides each having a first pocket provided thereon, and includes a front portion having at least one second pocket provided therein for receiving objects. [0012]
  • The casing includes an opening formed in the upper portion thereof, for receiving the retractable handle, and for allowing the retractable handle to be extended outwardly through the upper portion of the casing, and includes a cap for enclosing the opening of the casing. [0013]
  • The casing includes a third zipper member disposed around the opening thereof, and a fourth zipper member disposed around the cap and engageable with the third zipper member. [0014]
  • Further objectives and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from a careful reading of a detailed description provided hereinbelow, with appropriate reference to accompanying drawings.[0015]

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • Referring to the drawings, and initially to FIGS. [0029] 1-10, a carrying case assembly in accordance with the present invention comprises a casing 10 including a zipper member 11 provided on the front peripheral portion thereof, and including an opening 12 formed in the upper and rear portion thereof, and a cap 13 for enclosing the opening 12 of the casing 10.
  • The [0030] casing 10 includes a zipper member 121 disposed around the opening 12 thereof, and another zipper member 131 disposed around the cap 13, for engaging with the zipper member 121, and for securing the cap 13 to the casing 10, and for enclosing the opening 12 of the casing 10.
  • A [0031] retractable handle 30 is secured in the inner portion of the casing 10, and extendible upwardly and outwardly through the opening 12 of the casing 10, and retractable and receivable in the casing 10. The cap 13 may block or enclose the opening 12 of the casing 10, for retaining and for shielding the retractable handle 30 in the casing 10.
  • The [0032] casing 10 includes two zipper members 132 attached to the side portions 133 thereof, for opening and enclosing the two side portions 133 thereof, and includes another zipper member 17 attached to the rear portion thereof (FIG. 10), for opening and enclosing the rear portion thereof.
  • As best shown in FIGS. [0033] 10-13, the casing 10 includes a wheel device having one or more wheel members 16 attached to the bottom portion thereof, and includes a flap 18 receivable in the rear portion of the casing 10, and removable out of the casing 10 when the zipper member 17 is opened.
  • The [0034] flap 18 may be used for partially shielding the wheel members 16 (FIG. 13), and may be secured to the casing 10 with a hook and loop fastening member 181, for example, and may be used for preventing the users from contacting the wheel members 16, as those shown in FIGS. 16-20.
  • As shown in FIGS. 1 and 5-[0035] 9, the casing 10 includes a foldable intermediate portion 141 receivable in the casing 10, and a zipper member 142 provided in front of the foldable intermediate portion 141 for such as engaging with the zipper member 11, and for securing and retaining the foldable intermediate portion 141 in the casing 10.
  • The [0036] casing 10 further includes a front panel 14 also partially receivable in the casing 10 (FIG. 5), and extendible outwardly of the casing 10 (FIGS. 6-9). The front panel 14 includes a zipper member 146 for opening the front panel 14, and for allowing objects to be engaged into the inner space 145 of the casing 10 or of the front flap 14.
  • A [0037] board 151 has a lower portion pivotally secured to the bottom of the casing 10 with such as stitches, live hinge or the like, and rotatable or foldable downward (FIG. 9) to engage with the bottom of the casing 10, and securable to the casing 10 with such as the hook and loop fastener device 144, 153, for retaining the casing 10 at the opening structure as shown in FIGS. 8, 9, 14.
  • As shown in FIGS. [0038] 1-4, 10-13, and 16-18, the carrying case assembly further includes a bag 20 having a zipper member 21 attached to the rear peripheral portion thereof, for engaging with the zipper member 11 and/or 142 of the casing 10, and for detachably securing to the front portion of the casing 10 with the zipper members 11, 142, 21.
  • The [0039] bag 20 includes a channel or a passage 203 formed in the rear portion thereof (FIG. 10), for receiving the retractable handle 30 (FIGS. 14, 15), and for stably retaining the bag 20 on the upper portion of the casing 10, and for allowing both the casing 10 and the bag 20 to be moved or carried with the retractable handle 30.
  • As shown in FIGS. [0040] 5-6, 10 and 16-19, the casing 10 and the bag 20 each includes a number of hooks or rings or fasteners or buckles or couplers 19, 191, 222, 223 attached to the rear, the side and/or the outer peripheral portion thereof, for coupling to the corresponding hooks or rings or fasteners or buckles or couplers 41, 42, 51 of the fastener straps or belts 40, 50, and for allowing the carrying case assembly to be easily carried by the users with the belts 40, 50.
  • As shown in FIG. 20, the [0041] bag 20 may further includes a hand grip 23 provided on top thereof for being carried by the users. The bag 20 includes a rear panel 22 (FIG. 21) openable for opening the rear chamber 25 of the bag 20, and encloseable for enclosing the chamber 25 of the bag 20 (FIG. 22), and for allowing various objects to be received and retained in the rear chamber 25 of the bag 20.
  • As shown in FIGS. 23, 24, the [0042] bag 20 includes a front panel 24 having a number of envelopes or pockets 26 provided therein; and includes the other envelopes or pockets 26 provided or formed in the front portion of the bag 20, and includes one or more envelopes or pockets 28 provided in the sides, for receiving various objects.
  • As shown in FIG. 24, a wallet, or a case or a [0043] baggage 27 may further be provided and received in the bag 20, for receiving such as the note book computers or the like.
  • Accordingly, the carrying case assembly in accordance with the present invention includes a bag detachably secured onto the casing, and movable with the retractable handle, for receiving much more objects therein. [0044]
  • Although this invention has been described with a certain degree of particularity, it is to be understood that the present disclosure has been made by way of example only and that numerous changes in the detailed construction and the combination and arrangement of parts may be resorted to without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed. Claims (7)

I claim:
1. A carrying case assembly comprising:
a casing including an inner portion, and a front portion having a first zipper member attached thereto, and an upper portion, and a bottom portion having a wheel device attached thereto,
a retractable handle secured in said inner portion of said casing, and extendible outwardly through said upper portion of said casing, and
a bag including a rear portion having a second zipper member attached thereto and engageable with said first zipper member, for detachably securing said bag to said front portion of said casing,
said bag being engageable onto said upper portion of said casing and attachable to said retractable handle when said bag is disengaged from said front portion of said casing.
2. The carrying case assembly according to claim 1, wherein said casing includes a front panel receivable in said casing and extendible outwardly of said casing for expanding said casing, a third zipper member attached to said casing and said front panel for openably securing said front panel to said casing, a board received in said casing and engageable onto bottom of said casing when said front panel is opened and extended forwardly from said front portion of said casing, and a fastener for securing said board to said bottom of said casing.

The carrying case assembly according to claim 1, wherein said casing includes a rear portion having a flap received therein, and movable outwardly from said rear portion of said casing for partially shielding said wheel device, and a fastener for securing said flap to said rear portion of said casing.
4. The carrying case assembly according to claim 1 further comprising at least one fastener belt attached to said casing, for carrying said casing.
5. The carrying case assembly according to claim 1, wherein said bag includes two sides each having a first pocket provided thereon, and includes a front portion having at least one second pocket provided therein for receiving objects.
6. The carrying case assembly according to claim 1, wherein said casing includes an opening formed in said upper portion thereof, for receiving said retractable handle, and for allowing said retractable handle to be extended outwardly through said upper portion of said casing, and includes a cap for enclosing said opening of said casing.
7. The carrying case assembly according to claim 6, wherein said casing includes a third zipper member disposed around said opening thereof, and a fourth zipper member disposed around said cap and engageable with said third zipper member.
