Abstract

Referring first to FIG. 2, the present invention provides a plaque like display device 10 for holding and displaying a hockey puck 13 on a vertical surface such as that the rear face of the plaque like display device is substantially parallel, with the vertical surface, which as shown, will be pushed into the hockey puck holder device 10. It may be desirable to display hockey pucks as a display for many reasons. For example, a hockey puck could be autographed by a famous athlete or athletes, or a person who collects such memorabilia.
The Hockey Puck Display Device includes a short round tube like body 10. One end of this tube has a flat bottom plate 15. On this flat bottom plate is a recessed hole 11. This hole allows this holder to be mounted or displayed on a wall. The center of this tube like body is hollow 12. The Hockey Puck Display Device is preferably formed as a single piece and is preferably made of a resilient material, such as for example, plastic or metal, or another appropriate material, for example. This display device can also be placed on a flat surface to be viewed.
Thus in order to securely position the puck 13 into the Hockey Puck Holder 10 the circumference of the hockey Puck 13 and the recessed hole 12 must be a snug fit 14 as depicted in FIGS. 3 and 4. This snug fit will ensure that the puck will not fall out of the Hockey Puck Holder 10.
Referring to FIG. 4. The tube like structure can also be slightly tilted upward to ensure that the Puck will not fall out of the tube structure 16. The inside of this tube structure can also have a friction type material to decrease the chance of the puck falling out of this display.

    FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • That I claim the present invention which relates to a display device. More particularly the present invention relates to an ornamental display device, and even more particularly, the present invention relates to a display device for hockey pucks.[0001]

    • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • Referring first to FIG. 2, the present invention provides a plaque like [0006] display device 10 for holding and displaying a hockey puck 13 on a vertical surface such as that the rear face of the plaque like display device is substantially parallel, with the vertical surface, which as shown, will be pushed into the hockey puck holder device 10. It may be desirable to display hockey pucks as a display for many reasons. For example, a hockey puck could be autographed by a famous athlete or athletes, or a person who collects such memorabilia.
  • The Hockey Puck Display Device includes a short round tube like [0007] body 10. One end of this tube has a flat bottom plate 15. On this flat bottom plate is a recessed hole 11.   • Thus in order to securely position the [0008] puck 13 into the Hockey Puck Holder 10 the circumference of the hockey Puck 13 and the recessed hole 12 must be a snug fit 14 as depicted in FIG. 3 and 4. This snug fit will ensure that the puck will not fall out of the Hockey Puck Holder 10.
  • Referring to FIG. 4. The tube like structure can also be slightly tilted upward to ensure that the Puck will not fall out of the [0009] tube structure 16. The inside of this tube structure can also have a friction type material to decrease the chance of the puck falling out of this display.
