Abstract

The present device relates to a two-in-one ballpoint pens, and more particularly to one, wherein ballpoint pens are joined to both sides of connecting part, or a ballpoint pen is joined to one side and at the same time a string is attached to the other side for being worn around a neck.
Accordingly, it is not only convenient for carrying and keeping, with ballpoint pens of two different colors being joined to both sides of the connecting part in the center, but also has effects that it may be used as a necklace-type ballpoint pen, with a string being attached to one side of the connecting part.

Description

    TECHNICAL FIELD
  • The present device relates to a two-in-one ballpoint pens (oil base, water base or gel), and more particularly to one wherein a part corresponding to a lid is improved to be a connecting part to both ends of which ballpoint pens are joined, or a cap with a string instead of a ballpoint pen's body on one side is joined to the connecting part so that the ballpoint pen also may be used as a necklace-type ballpoint pen, whereby the carrying and keeping of the ballpoint pen is facilitated. [0001]
  • BACKGROUND ART
  • Generally, in almost all ballpoint pens, a lid is combined to seal up the tip of ballpoint pen lest ink in the tube of a ballpoint pen should volatilize into the air during its keeping. As for this lid, it covers up the tip of ballpoint pens and immediately touch the inside of the lid so that the tip of ballpoint pens that is projected outside the body having an ink refill inside may be covered up tight. As a means to prevent ink from volatilizing to the outside through the tip of ballpoint pens and to cover up the tip of ballpoint pens more tightly as stated above, a sealing material comprising rubber or silicon material is used. [0002]
  • In addition, in the event that one intends to use ballpoint pens in several colors, one should carry many ballpoint pens of the colors. Therefore some trouble is accompanied when a user carries ballpoint pens of several colors. [0003]
  • As for traditional ballpoint pens constructed as stated above, its lid should be put back after use. However, the lid may be lost because it is of small size, and in such a case the ink volatilizes into the outside while the tip of ballpoint pens is not covered. Consequently, a problem occurs that the life of the pen is shortened. [0004]
  • DISCLOSURE OF THE DEVICE
  • Accordingly, it is an object of the present device is to provide a connecting cap (connecting part) for two ballpoint pens. [0005]
  • Another object of the present device is to increase the portability and convenience of ballpoint pens by providing ballpoint pens whose lid covering up tight the tip of ballpoint pens is improved so that the bodies of ballpoint pens of two different colors can be inserted at each of both sides. [0006]
  • A still further object of the present device is to provide a ballpoint pens capable of being worn around a neck and being easily carried by a user, through providing ballpoint pen's bodies of different colors to both sides of lid or providing one side with a connecting cap to which a string is attached.[0007]
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the present design. [0008]
  • FIG. 2 is a disintegrated perspective view illustrating that the rear end of a two-in-one ballpoint pens on one side is joined to a mouth after the ballpoint pen is pulled out. [0009]
  • FIG. 3 is a side view of FIG. 2. [0010]
  • FIG. 4 is a front view illustrating another example of embodiment of the present design.[0011]
  • BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE DEVICE
  • Preferred embodiment of the present device will be described below. [0012]
  • As illustrated in FIGS. [0013] 1-3, the two-in-one ballpoint pens of the present design comprises two two-in-one ballpoint pen's bodies 2, and a connecting part 1 in the center that plays the role of receiving the front end or rear end 3 of the present two-in-one ballpoint pen's body 2.
  • The connecting part [0014] 1 is formed in the shape of a hollow cylinder, and includes a supporting device 6 that is propped against the inside of the connecting part 1 by means of multiple legs 7 so that a sealing material 8 made of rubber may be inserted and fixed into the center of the connecting part. The legs are formed symmetrically on the central sides of the supporting device 6. Accordingly, a small space S of a fixed width is formed between the supporting device 6 and the leg 7.
  • As for the supporting device [0015] 6, receiving parts 5 that receive the sealing material 8 are formed on both sides, and a partition wall P is formed between these receiving parts 5; and the supporting device 6 is connected to the inside of the connecting part 1 by means of legs 7, as described above.
  • The sealing material [0016] 8 is formed generally in a cylindrical shape, and a concave part 10 is formed on the surface of its one side so that the tip 4 of ballpoint pen may be received directly and be sealed in it.
  • The rear part (head part) [0017] 3 of the ballpoint pen's body 2 is formed approximately in the same diameter so that it may be inserted and fixed into the mouth 11 of the connecting part 1.
  • Ballpoint pen refills (not illustrated) that have selectively two different colors can be placed inside the ballpoint pen's [0018] bodies 2 that are inserted into and joined to both sides of the connecting part 1.
  • As illustrated in another example of the present design in FIG. 4, the ballpoint pen's [0019] body 2 is joined to the one side of the connecting part 1 of the present design, and a cap 12 with a string that can be worn around a neck is joined to the other side. As for this example, description on its components will be omitted since they are the same with those in FIGS. 1-3 except that a cap 12 with a string, instead of a ballpoint pen's body, is joined to one side of the connecting part 1.
  • In the following, the operation of the present design will be explained in more detail, referring to the attached drawings. [0020]
  • As for the two-in-one ballpoint pens of the present device, a sealing material [0021] 8 made of rubber or silicon is pushed into, via the cylindrical mouths 11 at both sides of the connecting part, and is fixed into the receiving part 5 of the supporting device lest the sealing material 8 should move at the receiving part 5.
  • When the sealing material has been fixed into the receiving part [0022] 5 of the supporting device 6, the side of the supporting device 6 and the inside of the connecting part 1 can be ventilated through a space S formed by legs 7 even though the inside of the connecting part is blocked by a partition wall P located in the center of the supporting device 6.
  • The assembly of two-in-one ballpoint pens of the present design is completed when separate bodies of two-in-one ballpoint pens are respectively inserted into and joined to both sides of the above connecting part [0023] 1.
  • Also, two-in-one ballpoint pens with colors preferred and frequently used by a user can be joined to both sides of the connecting part [0024] 1, and a user can use them selectively.
  • In the event of using a two-in-one ballpoint pens of the present design, the front end of a two-in-one ballpoint pen's [0025] body 2 on one side, that is, the tip 4 of ballpoint pen should be released from the concave part 10 of a sealing material 8 and be pulled out of the connecting part 1 completely, and then the rear end 3 of the ballpoint pen's body 2 should be inserted into the mouth 11 of the connecting part 1.
  • As stated above, in the event that two-in-one ballpoint pen's [0026] bodies 2 of different colors are joined to both sides of the connecting part 1, ballpoint pens of different colors may be easily combined with the connecting part 1 into one body and be used conveniently.
  • As illustrated in FIG. 4 for another example of embodiment, the ballpoint pen of the present design may be worn around a neck and be carried conveniently, through fastening a cap [0027] 12 having a string 13 to the mouth 11 of hollow part on one side of the connecting part 1 after joining the two-in-one ballpoint pen's body 2 to the other side of the connecting part 1.
  • INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY
  • The ballpoint pen of the present design can be carried, with the ballpoint pen body being inserted into both sides of the connecting part, or it is preferred to carry and keep it by inserting ballpoint pens of two different colors into both sides of the connecting part, respectively. [0028]
  • Furthermore, it may be carried conveniently as a necklace ballpoint pen, with a cap to which a string is attached being joined to one side. [0029]
