Abstract

A folding chair has a seat plate, a seat frame, a pair of front legs, a pair of rear legs, a backrest, a pair of joints, a pair of fastener devices, a pair of front pedestal casings, and a pair of rear pedestal casings. The seat frame is connected to the front legs and the rear legs. The seat frame has a middle support plate having a pair of oblong holes. The seat plate is disposed on the seat frame. Each front leg has a lower end to receive the corresponding front pedestal casing and an upper end inserted in the backrest. Each joint is disposed on the corresponding front leg. Each rear leg has a through aperture, a first end to receive the corresponding rear pedestal casing, and a second end inserted in the corresponding joint. Each fastener device has a base plate, a click block disposed on the base plate, and the click block inserted through the corresponding oblong hole of the seat frame and inserted in a T-shaped bottom recess of the seat plate.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to a folding chair. More particularly, the present invention relates to a folding chair which has a plurality of fastener devices to fasten a seat plate and a seat frame together. [0001]
  • Most conventional folding chairs has similar structures. However, the conventional folding chairs cannot be overlapped stably. [0002]
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • An object of the present invention is to provide a folding chair which has a plurality of fastener devices to fasten a seat plate and a seat frame together. [0003]
  • Another object of the present invention is to provide a folding chair which has a front pedestal casing having a protrusion to be inserted in a through aperture of a rear leg of another folding chair so that the folding chairs are overlapped stably. [0004]
  • Accordingly, a folding chair comprises a seat plate, a seat frame, a pair of front legs, a pair of rear legs, a backrest, a pair of joints, a pair of fastener devices, a pair of front pedestal casings, and a pair of rear pedestal casings. The seat frame is connected to the front legs and the rear legs. The seat frame has a middle support plate having a pair of oblong holes. The seat plate is disposed on the seat frame. The backrest has a lower recess hole. Each of the front legs has a lower end to receive the corresponding front pedestal casing and an upper end inserted in the lower recess hole of the backrest. Each of the joints is disposed on the corresponding front leg. Each of the rear legs has a through aperture, a first end to receive the corresponding rear pedestal casing, and a second end inserted in the corresponding joint. Each of the front pedestal casings has a protrusion. The seat plate has an oblong bottom groove and a T-shaped bottom recess communicating with the oblong bottom groove. Each of the fastener devices has a base plate, a click block disposed on the base plate, and the click block inserted through the corresponding oblong hole of the seat frame and inserted in the T-shaped bottom recess of the seat plate.[0005]

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • Referring to FIGS. [0019] 1 to 5 first, a folding chair comprises a seat plate 4, a seat frame 3, a pair of front legs 1, a pair of rear legs 2, a backrest 5, a pair of joints 8, a pair of fastener devices 7, a pair of front pedestal casings 6, and a pair of rear pedestal casings 60.
  • The [0020] seat frame 3 is connected to the front legs 1 and the rear legs 2.
  • The [0021] seat frame 3 has a middle support plate 31 having a pair of oblong holes 32.
  • The [0022] seat plate 4 is disposed on the seat frame 3.
  • The [0023] backrest 5 has a lower recess hole 51.
  • Each of the [0024] front legs 1 has a lower end 10 to receive the corresponding front pedestal casing 6 and an upper end 12 inserted in the lower recess hole 51 of the backrest 5.
  • Each of the [0025] joints 8 is disposed on the corresponding front leg 1.
  • Each of the [0026] rear legs 2 has a through aperture 21, a first end 20 to receive the corresponding rear pedestal casing 60, and a second end 22 inserted in the corresponding joint 8.
  • Each of the [0027] front pedestal casings 6 has a protrusion 61.
  • The [0028] seat plate 4 has an oblong bottom groove 42 and a T-shaped bottom recess 43 communicating with the oblong bottom groove 42.
  • Each of the [0029] fastener devices 7 has a base plate 72, a click block 71 disposed on the base plate 72, and the click block 71 inserted through the corresponding oblong hole 32 of the seat frame 3 and inserted in the T-shaped bottom recess 43 of the seat plate 4.
  • Two [0030] rivets 52 fasten the backrest 5 and the front legs 1 together.
  • Each of the [0031] joints 8 has an opening 81 to receive the corresponding rear leg 2.
  • Referring to FIGS. [0032] 6 to -8, a plurality of folding chairs are folded and overlapped. The protrusion 6 of the front pedestal casing 6 of the folding chair is inserted in a through aperture of a rear leg of the other folding chair.
  • The present invention has the following advantages. [0033]
  • The present invention provides a plurality of fastener devices to fasten the seat plate and the seat frame together. [0034]
  • The present invention provides a folding chair which has a front pedestal casing having a protrusion to be inserted in a through aperture of a rear leg of another folding chair so that the folding chairs are overlapped stably. [0035]
  • The present invention is not limited to the above embodiment but various modification thereof may be made. Furthermore, various changes in form and detail may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. [0036]

Claims (1)

I claim:
1. A folding chair comprises:
a seat plate, a seat frame, a pair of front legs, a pair of rear legs, a backrest, a pair of joints, a pair of fastener devices, a pair of front pedestal casings, and a pair of rear pedestal casings,
the seat frame connected to the front legs and the rear legs,
the seat frame having a middle support plate having a pair of oblong holes,
the seat plate disposed on the seat frame,
the backrest having a lower recess hole,
each of the front legs having a lower end to receive the corresponding front pedestal casing and an upper end inserted in the lower recess hole of the backrest,
each of the joints disposed on the corresponding front leg,
each of the rear legs having a through aperture, a first end to receive the corresponding rear pedestal casing, and a second end inserted in the corresponding joint,
each of the front pedestal casings having a protrusion,
the seat plate having an oblong bottom groove and a T-shaped bottom recess communicating with the oblong bottom groove, and
each of the fastener devices having a base plate, a click block disposed on the base plate, and the click block inserted through the corresponding oblong hole of the seat frame and inserted in the T-shaped bottom recess of the seat plate.
