Description
- The present invention relates to a multi-functional exercise device, and especially to a multi-functional exercise device having a back pad capable of presenting various applications, such as to slide singly or pivotally rotate, or to slide and pivotally rotate in swinging.
- Referring to FIG. 10, a prior
art exercise device 8 is illustrated. The exercise device has abase frame 81. Thebase frame 81 has atread plate 82. A middle section of thebase frame 81 is a forward extendingcushion 83. A rear section of thebase frame 81 is installed with a swingingarm 84. A top end of the swingingarm 84 extends upwards with a supportingframe 86 for being against by theswinging arm 84. A set ofelastic element 87 is installed between the supportingframe 86 and the swingingarm 84. - In using, the user seats on the
cushion 83. Two legs tread upon thetread plate 82. The back resists against theback pad 85. When the legs of the user treads thetread plate 82, the back of the user resists against theback pad 85. The pivotal connection of theback pad 85 and thebase frame 81 is used as an axis of swinging so that the two legs of the user may straighten, as shown in FIG. 11. As the swingingarm 84 swings, theelastic element 87 will pull so that theelastic element 87 will generate a resisting force so as to achieve the object of exercising the legs. - However, since the
back pad 85 is fixed to theswinging arm 84, as the swingingarm 84 swings, theback pad 85 only swings synchronously with theswinging arm 84. The upper half of the body of the user resists against theback pad 85. Therefore, in the process of exercise, the upper half of the body of the user has no exercise effect. Therefore, it is necessary to be improved. - Accordingly, the primary object of the present invention is to provide a multi-functional exercise device. The exercise device has a base. A front section of the base is pivotally installed with a tread rod with an adjustable orientation, and a rearward extending supporting frame for being installed with a cushion. A rear section of the base is installed with a stand frame. A top end of the stand frame is pivotally installed with a rotary seat. The rotary seat serves to be arranged with the sliding track so that the back pad can straightly move. When the legs of the user tread upon the tread rod and seats on the cushion, by the force for straightening the leg, the back will move the back pad to move straightly, or the back pad pivotally rotates with the rotary seat, or the back pad moves and pivotally rotates to swing so that the legs, waist and abdomen moves at the same time.
- Another object of the present invention is to provide a multi-functional exercise device, wherein at least one elastic element is installed between a tread rod and a supporting frame so that the legs of the user will tread upon the cushion. Therefore, the legs exercises by simply straightening and bending the legs.

The positioningpin 121 passes through the hole to buckle thetread rod 12. Thepivotal seat 11 is firmly secured with a supportingframe 13. The supportingframe 13 extends backwards to being installed with acushion 14. - A
stand frame 2 is installed at therear section 102 of thebase 1. The end for combining thestand frame 2 and thebase 1 is defined as abottom end 201. An end of thestand frame 2 with respect to thebottom end 201 is defined as atop end 202. The section between thetop end 202 and thebottom end 201 is defined as amiddle section 203. A supportingframe 21 is installed between themiddle section 203 and thebase 1. Thetop end 202 of thestand frame 2 is pivotally installed with arotary seat 3. The side of therotary seat 3 near thestand frame 2 is pivotally installed with two 31 and 32. A side of therolling wheel sets rotary seat 3 far away from thestand frame 2 is pivotally installed with aroller 33. The 31 and 32 haverolling wheel sets 311 and 321 andleft rollers 312 and 322. The opposite sides of theright rollers 311 and 321 and theleft rollers 312 and 322 have respectiveright rollers 313, 314, 323 and 324.small sections - A
back pad 4 has a parallel arranged slidingtrack 41. The slidingtrack 41 passes through the place between the two rolling wheel sets 31 and 32 of therotary seat 3 and theroller 33. The slidingtrack 41 is installed on the 311 and 321,left rollers 312 and 322 andright rollers 313, 314, 323 and 324 so that two sides of the slidingsmall sections track 41 are confined. Therefore, theback pad 4 may slide straightly with respect to therotary seat 3. Anelastic element 42 is installed between theback pad 4 and thestand frame 2. When theback pad 4 moves, a resisting force generates. The upper section and lower section of the slidingtrack 41 are installed with two 411 and 412, thereby, the slidingstoppers track 41 sliding linearly with respect to therotary seat 3. Two 411 and 412 resist against thestoppers roller 33 of therotary seat 3 for forming a confinement of the slidingtrack 41. Since thetread rod 12 is fixed, a reacting force generates so that the body of the user will move rearwards. This reacting force is primarily upon the thighs of the user. In other words, the reacting force will cause the bottom of the user to resist against theback pad 4 so that theback pad 4 slides upwards with respect to therotary seat 3, as shown in FIG. 5. In this process, the legs of the user may apply force and extend, while when theback pad 4 moves upwards through a section, and then, the user applies a force from the waist, thereby, the back of the user resisting against the upper section of theback pad 4 to push theback pad 4 and therotary seat 3 to pivotally the rotate together, as shown in FIG. 6. Therefore, the object of moving waist is achieved. After theback pad 3 and therotary seat 3 pivotally rotate, the body of the user can be expanded. In restoring, although theback pad 4 is restored by the elasticity of theelastic element 55, in this restoring process, the user necessary applies a force to resist against the elastic force of theelastomer 42 so that theback pad 4 may smoothly swing back and move downwards. In this process, as the user resists against theback pad 4 to slide by the bottom thereof, the waist can be straightened so that the back resists against theback pad 4 to swing. Thereby, theback pad 4 slides and pivotally rotates at the same time so as to swing. Therefore, the effect of multiple exercises are achieved. - In summary, in the present invention, since the top end of the
stand frame 2 is pivotally installed with arotary seat 3. Therotary seat 3 serves to be arranged with the slidingtrack 41 of theback pad 4 so that theback pad 4 can straightly move with respect to therotary seat 3. When the legs of the user treads upon thetread rod 12 and seats on thecushion 14, by the force for straightening the leg, the back will move theback pad 4 to move straightly with respect to therotary seat 3, or theback pad 4 pivotally rotates with therotary seat 3, or theback pad 4 moves and pivotally rotates to swing so that the legs, waist and abdomen moves at the same time. - Of course, there are many embodiments suitable in the present invention. Referring to FIG. 7, the second embodiment of the present invention is illustrated. An
elastic element 55 is illustrated between thetread rod 52 and the supportingframe 53. Thepivotal seat 51 is installed with an inward protruding buckle 512, thereby, as theelastic element 55 tightly pulling thetread rod 52, the buckle 512 will stop thetread rod 52 in the preset position. When thepositioning pin 521 is not buckled at anypositioning hole 511, it may push thetread rod 52 to swing and theelastic element 55 will generate a resisting force to achieve the object of exercise. - In using, the user seats on a
cushion 54, and the two legs tread upon thetread rod 52, as illustrated in FIG. 8. Two legs apply a force upon thetread rod 52 so that thetread rod 12 pivotal rotates to pull theelastic element 55, as illustrated in FIG. 9.
