Abstract
Fishing toy including a fishing tackle and a fished body. In the fished body are disposed a motor, a cell seat, a bite activation mechanism and a swinging mechanism. A trigger switch is disposed in the bite activation mechanism for controlling turning on/off of the motor to drive and swing the swinging mechanism. The swinging mechanism serves to reciprocally swing a tail part of the fished body and a bracket. The fished body has a form of a fish and including a buoyant main body and turnable eye parts, gill parts and tail part which are connected with the swinging mechanism. When the fished body is hooked, the swinging mechanism is driven to make the eye parts of the fished body rotate and make the gill parts and tail part swing left and right so as to simulate the real situation and achieve entertaining effect.
Description
- The present invention is related to an improved fishing toy from U.S. Pat. No. 6,022,025. By means of a bite activation mechanism and a swinging mechanism, when the fished body is hooked, the swinging mechanism is driven to make the eye part of the fished body rotate and make the gill part and tail part swing left and right so as to simulate the real situation and achieve entertaining effect.
- A conventional fishing toy includes a buoyant fished body which is placed under the water to be fished. The fished body is provided with a magnet and the fishing tackle is equipped with a magnetic article for attracting the fished body. However, such fished body is only placed under the water in a still state and cannot swim as a real fish. Also, when hooked, the fished body keeps still without liveliness. Therefore, the conventional fishing toy lacks reality and has poor entertaining effect.
- In the inventor's prior invention, such as U.S. Pat. No. 6,022,025, the inventor disclosed a fishing toy in which the tail part can swing left and right, and the lower jaw can move up and down. Nevertheless, the eyes and gills of the fish toys remains dead in whole operation.
- It is therefore a primary object of the present invention to provide a fishing toy in which by means of the bite activation mechanism and the swinging mechanism, when the fished body is hooked, the swinging mechanism is driven to make the eye part of the fished body rotate and make the gill part and tail part swing left and right so as to simulate the real situation and achieve entertaining effect.
- It is a further object of the present invention to provide the above fishing toy in which the fished body is provided with a press switch for independently controlling turning on/off of the motor to drive the swinging mechanism and make the eye part of the fished body rotate and make the gill part and tail part swing left and right. Therefore, the fished body can swim in the water.
- According to the above objects, the fishing toy of the present invention includes a fishing tackle and a fished body. In the fished body are disposed a motor, a cell seat, a bite activation mechanism and a swinging mechanism. A trigger switch is disposed in the bite activation mechanism for controlling turning on/off of the motor to drive and swing the swinging mechanism. The swinging mechanism includes a reducing gear coupled with the rotary shaft of the motor. The reducing gear via an eccentric first roller drives and reciprocally swings a tail part of the fished body. The reducing gear is engaged with a gear set which via an eccentric second roller drives a bracket to reciprocally move. The fished body has a form of a fish and includes a buoyant main body and turnable eye parts, gill parts and tail part which are connected with the swinging mechanism. When the fished body is hooked, the swinging mechanism is driven to make the eye parts of the fished body rotate and make the gill parts and tail part swing left and right.
- The present invention can be best understood through the following description and accompanying drawings wherein:
- FIG. 1 is a perspective assembled view of the fishing toy of the present invention;
- FIGS. 2 a, 2 b, 2 c and 2 d are perspective exploded views of the swinging mechanism of the present invention;
- FIG. 3 is a perspective assembled view of the fished body of the fishing toy of the present invention;
- FIGS. 4 a and 4 b are top views showing the operation of the swinging mechanism of the fishing toy of the present invention; and
- FIG. 5 shows that the fished body of the present invention is hooked.
- Please refer to FIGS. 1 to 3. The fishing toy of the present invention includes a fishing tackle composed of a
detachable fishing rod 1 andseparable handle 2 and a fishedbody 3 with a form of an aquatic product. (In this embodiment, the fished body has a form of a fish. However, it can alternatively have a form of a shrimp, a turtle or other creature.) - The

Thecell seat 42 is provided with aswitch 41 for controlling turning on/off of themotor 37 to drive and swing theswinging mechanism 36. Accordingly, the eye parts of thefished body 3 will rotate and the gill parts and tail part thereof will swing left and right. - Two sides of each
eye part 32 are provided with projectingposts 321 for pivotally connecting theeye part 32 on themain body 31. Ahook section 322 is disposed on back face of theeye part 32. One end of aspring 323 is fixed at thehook section 322, while the other end of thespring 323 is fixed on abolt 324 extending from themain body 31. - The
gill part 33 hasextension plates 331 on two sides. Eachextension plate 331 is provided with a projectingpost 332 for pivotally connecting with themain body 31. The front end of thegill part 33 is provided with ahook section 333. One end of aspring 335 is fixed at thehook section 333, while the other end of thespring 335 is fixed on abolt 334 extending from themain body 31. - The
tail part 34 has two projectingposts 341 for pivotally connecting with rear end of themain body 31. Anupright fitting block 342 is disposed on front side of thetail part 34. Thefitting block 342 is formed with aslot 343. - The
bite activation mechanism 35 is provided with atrigger switch 351. Abent block 43 is disposed under thetrigger switch 351. Amagnet 431 is fixed on lower side of one end of thebent block 43. Aprojecting section 433 is formed on upper side of the other end.Pivot shafts 432 are disposed on two sides of thebent block 43 for controlling turning on/off of themotor 37 to drive and swing theswinging mechanism 36. - The
swinging mechanism 36 includes abracket 38, apartitioning board 39, abase seat 40, a reducinggear 372, afirst roller 373,gear set 391 and asecond roller 392. - Two sides of top face of the
