I claim:

1. A belt comprising a two-part strap which has a buckle at one end and a. series of holes in the other end, one of which is fitted upon the tongue of the buckle to make an adjustment of comparative permanence, a plate establishing the continuity of the two-part strap, and connecting means between the ends of the plate and the adjacent strap ends, at least one of the connecting means including a glove fastener which enables the instantaneous opening ..of the iodide? of the buckle.
