The present invention relates to a hanger for clothes and the like having for its purpose to provide means whereby articles of clothing such as stockings and the like may be hung out to dry. i

TheV object of the invention resides in the provision of a device of this nature which is simple in its construction, light, inexpensive to manufacture, convenient to mount on a door, window or the like, thoroughly efficient and reliable .in uscand otherwise well adapted to the purpose for which it is designed.

\V ith the above and numerous other objects in View as will appear' as the description proceeds, the invention resides in certain novel features of construction, and in the combination and arrangement of parts as will be hereinafter more fully described and claimed.

Figure 2 is a-top plan View thereof, and Figure 3 is a detailed section taken substantially on the line 3 3 of Figure 1.

Referring to the drawing in detail it will be seen that letter F denotes an oblong frame comprising endLmembers 5 and 6, the latter being shorter than the former and sides which include portions 7 merging from the ends of the end member 5 at'right angles thereto and merging into outwardly conor 'any other like support and therefore may be conveniently used in a room or the like for drying stockings and the like.

It is thought that the construction, utility and advantages of this invention will now be clearly understood without a more detail description thereof.

It is apparent that changes in the details of construction may be resorted to vwithout departing from the spirit or scopeof the invention as hereinafter claimed. l

Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new is:
