Having thus fully described my invention, its utilityand mode of operation.. what I claim and desire to secure by Letters Patent of the United States is- A jar cover wrench comprising two sheet metal members of S-shaped form having the bodies thereof oil'set in the mid portions in respectively opposite directions and pivoted together centrally of the offset portions, said members on one side of the pivot and at an end thereof having terminal handle portions and adjacent the pivot having similarly outcurved portions, the inner faces of which are serrated, the members on the opposite side of the pivot being outcurved on a greater radius than the portions of the first mentioned outcurved portions, the opposite faces thereof being serrated and--each terminal handle portion being T-shaped in lcross section with the cross member of the T-shaped portion extending along the outer edge of each terminal handle portion.
