Be it known that I, JOSEPH B. OKEY, of Indianapolis, county of Marion, and State of Indiana, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Straw-Cutting Machines; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings and the letters of reference marked t-hereon.

Figure 1, is a perspective View showing the general appearance of the machine. Fig. 2 is a Sectional end View showing the arrangement of the adjustable gage G and knives F, F.

A is a double feed box. B a drum or wheel. C a slot for the screw D to operate through.

G, is a gage plate.

F, F, are knives or cutters.
