In a gun, the combination with a false barrel provided with a piston abutment therein, a re-enforcing member for the muzzle end of the false barrel in the form of a bushing fitting therein and having an upwardly projecting flange extending through a slit in said false barrel and forming a bead sight, said bushing being cut away at one point to form a channel longitudinally therethrough, a true barrel insertable through the muzzle of said false barrel having its inner end slidably engaging a socket in said piston abutment, a cap secured to the outer end of said true barrel provided with a cylindrical flange telescopically engaging said reinforcement bushing and a struck-out portion on said cylindrical flange adapted to enter through the channel in said bushing and cooperate with the latter to form a bayonet lock.
