4 Claims.
This invention relates to a form puller designed particularly for pulling the steel forms used in concrete rcadwork after the concrete has set and the object of the invention resides in the provision of an apparatus of this nature which is simple in its construction, easy to move from place to place, and manipulate, inexpensive to manufacture, strong and durable, thoroughly efficient and reliable in use and operation and otherwise well adapted to the purpose for which it is designed.
With the above and numercin other objects in View as will appear as the description proceeds, the invention resides in certain novel features of construction, and in the combination and arrangement of parts as will be hereinafter more fully described and claimed.

Referring to the drawings in detail it will be seen that the numeral 5 denotes an elongated pole or beam from which depend a pair of standards or plates 6 being attached to the sides thereof by suitable fastening means as at 7 so as to be located intermediate the ends of the beam 5 adjacent the rear end thereof. An axle 8 extends through the lower ends of the standards 6 and has wheels 9 journalled thereon to the outer sides of the standards. Braces 10 extend from the axle 8 to the beam 5 being secured to the beam 5 as at 11 a distance in advance of the standards 6.
Numeral 12 denotes a hook formed on the end of an elongated curved shank is provided be tween the center thereof and the end remote from the hook 153 with a plurality of spaced openings 15. A bolt 16 extends laterally through the beam 5 to the rear of the standards 6 and through one of the openings 15 so that the shank i4 is rockable on the bolt. A spring 17 is fastened to the last mentioned end of the 14. as at 18 and is fastened to the beam 5 as at 19 in advance of the standards 6 and the spring extends diagonally across the beam.
It will be appreciated from Figure 1 that the hook 12 on the lever shank 14.- is directed upwardly and inwardly; also, that the retractile spring 17 tends when the lower arm of the lever shank 14 is moved inwardly, to move said arm outwardly with the result that the hook 12 is held under tension in secure engagement with the form to be pulled.
By rocking the beam 5 the hook 12 may be lowered to engage under an end or other portion of a steel form section and then by using the beam 5 as a lever, considerable leverage being obtainable, the form section may be pried from its place in said concrete and the action of the spring 17 will tend to prevent the hook 12 from accidentally disengaging with the end of the form section.
it is thought that the construction, operation, utility and advantages of this invention will now be quite apparent to those skilled in this art without a more detailed description thereof.
The present embodiment of the invention has been described in considerable detail merely for the purposes of exemplification since in actual practice it attains the features of advantage enumerated as desirable in the statement of the invention and the above description.
It will be apparent that changes in the details of construction, and in the combination and ar-- rangeinent of parts may be resorted to without departing from the spirit or scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed or sacrificing any of its advantages.
Having thus described my invention, What I claim as new is:
l. A form puller of the class described including an elongated beam, a standard depending iroin an intermediate portion of said beam, an axle on the lower portion of said standard, a wheel journalled on said axle, an elongated curved shank having a plurality of openings, a bolt extending through said beam and one of the openings in said shank, the lower end of said shank having a hook formed thereon, a spring engaged with the upper end of said shank and anchored on said beam.
2. A form puller of the class described comprising an elongated beam, a standard depending from an intermediate portion of said beam, an axle on the lower portion of said standard, a wheel iournaled on said axle, and a work engaging member pivoted on said beam at one side of said standard.
3. A form puller of the class described comprisin an elongated beam, a standard depending from an intermediate portion of said beam, an axle on the lower portion of said standard, a wheel journaled on said axle, an elongated work engaging member pivoted intermediate its ends on said beam and having its lower end provided spaced below the beam, a lever shank fulcrumed at an intermediate point of its length on the beam at an intermediate point in the length of the beam and having a pendent arm and also having an arm extending above the beam and further having on the pendent arm an inwardly and upwardly directed hook, and a retractile spring interposed between and connected to the beam and the upper arm of the lever shank.
