Having described the invention, I claim:

1. A top spinner including a fiat handle having one of its ends biurcated to provide upper and lower arms, arranged at the same angle of inclination, the upper arm being of a greater length than the lower arm and having its inner face grooved from its outer end and the outer end' of the lower arm being notched, a flanged disc having a substantially U-shaped portion extending angularly from one side thereof and communicating therewith, said extension aiording a runway which has its outer end xed to the sides-ofthe lower arm and the inner wall of the runway being parallel with the groove in the upper arm, said groove-and runway designed to receive therein a pin and a plug on the oppositey endsof a wound top and the plug designed to be received in the notch of the lower arnrand whereby the unwinding of the top will cause the same to travel through the groove of the upper arm and through the runway into the flanged disc.

A top spinner including a flat handle having one of its ends bifurcated to provide upper and lower arms, arranged at the saine yangle of inclination, the upper arm being of a greater length than the lower arm and having its inner face grooved from its outer end and the outer end of the lower arm being notched, a flanged disc having a concaved Y bottom, a cup on theouter end of the disc, a cross sectionally U-shaped extension secured to the flange on the inner end of the disc, communicating with the disc and aording a runway that receives therein and is secured to the lower arm of the handle, and said runway being arranged at the same angle as that of the upper arm of the handle, said runway and the groove ofthe upper arm designed to receive therein a plug and a pin on the respective ends of a wound top and which top when unwound is designed to travel through the groove and runway into the disc to spln in the said disc and the handle permitting the spinner to be manipulated to project the `spinning top from the disc into the cup.
