The bolts 15 for attaching the shoe tothe snow plow have been illustrated and described in Figures 1 to 4 as having the heads 16 thereof counter-sunk in the top wall 12` of the backing while another form of bolt mounting isillustrated in Figure 5. The

Y top wall 12 of the backing as showng in Figure 5 has a relatively small plate section 32 welded or otherwise secured'thereto as at 33 with 'the `head 16a ofthe bolt 15a counter-sunk iii the plate 82. In the event of breakage of the bolts 15a, it would only be necessary to remove the plate -32 from the backing plate 12without disturbing the operating devices for the ground engaging shoe 17, a new anchor bolt and attaching plate being substituted in a minimum of time.

` From the above detailed description of the Minvention, it is believed'that the construction and operation thereof will at once beV apparent, and while there are herein shown and described the preferred embodiments of the invention, it is nevertheless to be understood thatminor changesmay be made therein without departing from the spirit and i Ascope of the invention as claimed.
