1. .Asign composed of'a plurality ofv sign units each sign-unit incliidinga framezu-nit, eachwframe unit including end frame mem berg-each endframemember being formed by side rails leavingan opening within said rails, the: end members of; each frame unit being fitted to the end members of adjoining frame units and means for securing said frame units together, external flanges along the upper rails of certain-of said end frame members, which flanges overlap the upper rails of the adjoining end frame members.
2. A sign com-posed of apl-urality of sign units, eachJsi-gn unit including. a frame unit, the frame unit of each sign unit being mitred at its ends with the ends of the frame units of adjoiningsign units; apertured bosses formed on the ends of certain of said frame units,'shanks formed on the ends of the other frame units to be extended through said aperturedbosses, and shoulders at the bases of said-shanks adapted to rest upon the upper ends of said bosses.-
3. A sign composed of a plurality of sign units,- each sign unit including a frame unit, each. frame unit including. end frame members,- fitted to the end members ofa-djoining frame units, apertured bosses on the end members of. certain of said frame units, shanks formed onthe end'members of the otherframeunits adapted to project through said aoertured bosses, and shoulders'at the bases of said shanks for engaging. the upper endsfof said bosses.
