It will now be clear that I have provided a device which will accomplish the objects of the invention as hereinbet'ore stated.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim is:
1. A closure attachment of the class described comprising an annular member having an opening therein adapted to receive the upper end of the filling neck of a tank, a shoulder formed adjacent said opening whereby a part of said filling neck may be bent over to secure said annular member to said neck, a plate pivotally secured to said annular member, said plate having an opening therein smaller than the opening in said annularmember, a cap pivotally secured to said plate and adapted to close the opening therein, means for locking said plate in closing position and means for locking said cap in position to close the opening in said plate.
2. A closure attachment for tanks comprising an annular member adapted to be secured about the filling neck of a tank, a plate pivotally secured to said annular member and having an opening therein of less diameter than the opening in the said annular member, a cap pivotally secured to said plate and adapted to close the opening therein, means for locking said plate to said annular member and means for holding said cap in position to close the opening in said plate.
3. A closure attachment of the class described comprising a member having an opening therein adapted to receive the upper end of the filling neck of a tank, a shoulder formed adjacent said opening whereby a part of said filling means may be bent over to secure said member against removal from said neck, a plate secured to said member, said plate having an opening therein considerably smaller than the opening in said annular member, a cap carried by said plate and adaptedto close the opening therein, means for locking said plate in closing position and means for securing said cap in position to close the opening in said plate.
In testimony whereof, I hereunto afiix my signature.
