This invention relates to a moldfor manu= facturing concrete blocks for use in building chimneys, posts and piers, etc., andjhas for its object to provide, in a manner as hereinafter set fort-h, a mold for expeditiously f molding hollow concrete blocks with or wit-hout a flue opening.l
Another obJect of the invention is to provide, in a manner as hereinafter set forth, a
mold for expeditiously molding hollow four s walled concrete blocks with or without a flue opening and with the outer peripheryof the bloclr simulating su ier iosed courses of brick.

Secured to theV top 11 of the core 10 and eX- t'ending through the opening 34 in the retainer member32 is a threaded stem 36 carrying alwheel 37 stem 36- and engages the boss 33 for the purpose of clamping the retainer member32 in the position as shown in Figure 3 and which will retain the head piece 29 in position. It is thought the many advantages of aV Y .mold for the purpose set forth and in accordance with this invention, can be readily understood, and although the preferred embodiment of the invention is as illustrated l, and described, yet it isto be understood that changes inthe details of construction can be had which fall within the scope of the invention as claimed.
