Extending rearwardly from the concaved base 4t is a pair of spaced oppositely disposed rod-clamping jaws '5 and 8. Although I have described my invention in its adaptation to the mounting of center ornaments on curtain or drapery rods in which use, it finds a field of immediate application, it will be understo'od'thatthis treatment is purely illustrative and'inno way limiting.
