This invention relates to a memorandumpad holder for awall telephone instrument,
the general type shown and described in a for holding memorandum-pads thereto are (1) because of the lack of available space uponthe instrument to accommodate the holder, and (2) because of the lack of facilities on the instrument itself to which the r holder may be readily andfirmly secured.
Theobject ofthe present invention is to provide a memorandum-pad holder sultable for attachment to a wall telephone instrument, which will be of strong and durable construction, inexpensive to manufacture and convenient for use.
The invention is illustrated in the accompanying drawing, wherein,

The holder, above referred tofco'mprises a sheet metal plate 21 of a general rectangulair shape,'see Fig. 3, of a size to receivethereon the pad- 21, the cardboard backing pad is retainedrupon the plate against rela-' tive displacement in the plane of the'plate between lug elements 22 and 23projecting forwardly from the upper side edges, respectively, of the plate, and also between lug elements 24 and 25 projecting forwardly from the plates'top and bottom edges respectively. Said lugs are desirably formed by providing the plate with protruding por tions andbendin'g the same forwardly to con stitutethe respective stops. 1. A memorandum-pad holder for a wall telephone instrument having a box member and a circular casing containing switching mechanism, said holder comprising a plate member adapted to seat in juxtaposed relation to the face portion of the box member,

The combination with awall -telephone instrument havinga box member-and a circ'ular casing containing switching mechanism, of a holder detachably engageable to said telephone instrument and adapted to contain a memorandum-pad, said holder comprising a plane plate member arranged to seat in juxtaposed engagement tothe face of said box member, a dependingfportion integral wlth said plate member and engageable to a side of said box member and a resilient arm arranged to be sprung about said circular casing into embracing engagement thereto.
