The method of forming lids for cigar boxes which comprises providing a rigid blank of the size sulificient to form two lids, providing a thin flexible blank to project around the outer edges of said lirst mentioned blank, applying the thin .blank to the rigid blank to cover one faceof the latter and edge portions of the other face, and dividing the article thus obtained into two covers.
